>The story centres on Sü, who flees Trump’s America to come out and restart her tech career in Canada – only to wind up unemployed and crashing on the couch of her ex, Chris, an adorable ecoterrorist. What follows is a journey of self-discovery and empowerment, as well as dodgy employment, dumpster diving, nosy cops, murdered oil lobbyists, sci-fi hallucinations, and a problematic boyfriend. It’s unashamedly geeky, defiantly hopeful, proudly political, and above all, it’s funny.
"Our focus group indicates this will be the biggest show since Friends!"
Robert Lee
That's one of my biggest issues this. Even form a completely non-political standpoint, these are some of the most physically unattractive people I've ever seen in a television setting. There's a reason leading actors and actresses need to be pretty. I don't care how gut bustingly hilarious your show is if all of the characters are so rancid that I never want to look at the screen. It's off putting as fuck.
Evan Hughes
>World's First Canadian Sitcom
David Howard
So normal looking transgendered people?
Xavier Lopez
Wow can we stop normalizing trannies please? It's so fucked up
Hunter Jones
Pretty much. Seems like the only convincing trannies end up doing porn anyway, so I'm not really sure what the point of normal trannies is. They sacrifice any good looks they might have in order to become a social pariah. Seems like a lose-lose to me.
Owen Sanchez
I worked on this for one day
Samuel Nelson
Agreed. They're less than 1% of the population and yet somehow they need absolutely everything to be about them because they don't feel "safe". They probably don't feel safe because they have a fucking mental disorder.
Evan Nelson
that guy in the dress is swole af weird pecs though
Nolan Gomez
Ew.
Aaron Cooper
I'm sure this one will end a week later when it's cancelled.
Jeremiah Hall
Between this and OITNB and Sense8, how many transgender shows are there going to be? Pretty soon the most popular occupation for transgender people in the US will be "television actor"
Christopher Cook
I mean yeah, seeing as there's only a small percentage of them. Soon failed Hollywood actors will be switching genders in order to find work. It's mind-numbing.
Elijah Jenkins
That's not the first and it's already aired months ago. It was shit because the people couldn't act at all, not because of the subject.
Sebastian Ortiz
they're the new nigs, the left needed another oppressed minority
Jeremiah Brown
This holy fuck. How is depression considered a mental disorder and literally thinking you're something you're not isnt
Zachary Edwards
Eh. I mean, I don't really care, no personal stake, but I kinda get where they're coming from. Sure, it would be nice if we could live in a world where everyone would just have a basic level of compassion toward others and we could 'all just get along', but that's not realistic. Human beings, left to their own devices, will generally choose to throw rocks at crippled people and shit in their own drinking water. There's a lot of inertia there. If you want civilization to move 1% in a positive direction, you generally have to push it like 200% that way and hope it snaps back to where you want.
Landon Mitchell
Who is the audience for this? I mean how is this gonna get sponsors? Or are they still living in fantasy land where the only way they can fail is by being sabotaged by evil bigots.
Gavin Gray
It's shit. Not one good actor in the lot of them. They make family youtube vids look professional.
Boy meets girl is really good though. It's trans sitcom kino and it came out 1 year before The Swutch.
Nah, it's actually not a SJW show. It's just a sitcom with trans characters and a few minimal muh hard trans life moments.
It's really bad tough. Like, Disney Channel's worst live action show is 10X better kind of bad.
Isaiah Johnson
I saw it on OUT.tv (canadian gay channel) when they had a free preview month. It's made with 25 cents and a bubble gum wrapper. It felt like something you would see on youtube years ago when people didn't know how to shoot a vid properly.
Btw, OUT is a lot less SJW than normal channels. Actually, I don't think they have a SJW bone in their body on that channel. This is fucking weird. They have some okay shows. The Switch wasn't one of them.
Bentley Roberts
its' going to flop hard
Charles Reed
tranny here
im really getting sick of sjw cucks making tv shows and youtube videos about us
like literally just fuck off, if you want trannies to be happy just let them try and pass in normal society instead of trying to prop them up, 99% of us just want to be left alone, fuck off
Grayson Morris
>OUT is a lot less SJW than normal channels. Probably similar to LOGO in america. I remember watching some shows on there a few years ago and it was borderline red-pilled. The guys on their dating shows would shit all over non-whites
Wyatt Baker
If only transsexuals appealed to more normal people right?
Joseph Peterson
100% of transsexuals have mental disorders, sort your life out
Logan James
yeah no shit dumbass, trannies suffer from gender dysphoria probably because most of us were molested as kids
the only ones that make a huge deal over it 24/7 with twitter bios and public facebook posts are retarded transtrenders trying to cash in on the pity points but are too lazy and incompetent to actually transition
Kayden Perez
you should get vocal about it then, they are cashing in big on you
Ethan Davis
Elaborate
Nathaniel Cooper
none of us are going to because most of us are literal autistic spergs with social problems that have constant anxiety over being id'd as males and dont want to out ourselves as trannies in public
shit like that make me mad and it makes me mad that the other more prominent letters of the retarded alphabet soup don't speak up and do something
Ian Nguyen
blah blah blah im a victim get over it. fix your life
Juan Harris
>fix your life >but don't fix it by attempting to transition because that would trigger me!!!! m-muh children
Leo Gray
This is a marketing master move. Countless leftists, feminists, sjw's and all those types will flock to this show, they will constantly talk about it, they will defend it against any criticism with their usual shrill intensity. The show won't be good. I'm 99% sure of that. These people will probably know that too, but they'll never admit it: there is too much at stake for them to be critical of this show. All the virtue signalling fags will sit through episode after episode, pretending to love it.
It will receive so many publicity that at least the first season will make tons of money, just because so many people will want to see what the fuss is about. Of course, after the novelty wears off, it will immediately slip into obscurity - or be outright cancelled - but the executives obviously don't give a shit.
