More Diane when

Reminder that there are people in these very threads that support and advise skipping.

Skipping My Life, My Tapes is a red flag. Skipping Secret Diary and Secret History is a pleb detector. But skipping episodes, even a single fucking episode, is unforgivable. That sentiment also includes The Missing Pieces. If you recommend that anyone skip an episode, or have skipped episodes yourself, skip over these fucking threads, you massive, massive faggot.

Nobody cares that you don't have time now. Maybe you should have watched Twin Peaks before, you bandwagon trendlord.

Looks like Brynn from dancemoms......... LOL

I wonder if Leland ever touched Laura's pussy

No.

I haven't skipped anything Sup Forums wise but I haven't read or listened to any of the books. How should I go into the /lit/ in order to get frosted?

Leland singing Mairzy Doats please. It's at the start of S02E01.

Well, if you want something more relevant to the original series/FWWM, read Secret Diary. If you want something (seemingly so far) more relevant to the current series, read Secret History (plus there's a sequel to look forward to, maybe the last piece of official Twin Peaks media ever). Either way, these two are the "essentials".

My Life, My Tapes is something I'd read only if you're a completionist. I'd honestly go look at the Dale Cooper page on the Twin Peaks wikia and read that instead.

Also, keep in mind that the books are considered "canon" unless the series/film contradicts them. For example, in MLMT Cooper is the one to conduct the Teresa Banks investigation, but this was changed in the movie when Kyle wanted a lesser role.

this one?

sure

No

Being so used to FWWM, going back and rewatching the series and seeing how horrific of an actress she was (especially as Maddy) was a shock. She improved so much from then to FWWM. But wew was she bad in the series.

If you genuinely skipped episodes you should genuinely skip breathing.

That one, yes
Thank you!

james + laura 4eva

So since last episode's affects were in fact fairly well done, does it mean previous poorly done affects were not done "on purpose" after all, but were such due to budget constraints? Because I rewatched Lost Highway, and I didn't notice any jarringly poor affects like in this airing season, not can I recall from Lynch's other work them being bad (haven't seen Dune, though). I really don't understand this claim that Lynch supposedly does half-assed cheap affects on purpose, and this being justification for S3; even his more budget-restricted films like Eraserhead have great affects. The fact of the matter is S3 has some really bad CGI combined with some jerky editing that stands out like a sore thumb, and there's no defending it.

David Lynch doesn't care about season 2 and you're wasting your time defending it.

Starring
Eric Da Re

Lynch didn't even use CGI in any of his movies that I remember. I have a hard time believing he couldn't have just blown a car up and filmed it so I think that janky editing is on purpose but it's possible he just doesn't care about how the CGI looks as long as it gets the point across. Or he's an old man that doesn't see the difference between good and bad CGI.

Ray shooting Cooper being only one shot that's repeated twice definitely also seems to be on purpose rather than some budgetary issue.

>affects
>affects
>affect
>affect
>a-ffect

Saying you shouldn't skip a single episode isn't defending shit. You shouldn't skip a fucking episode of any show. How can you claim to have knowledge of something you skipped? The series is literally only 30 fucking episodes, you ADHD faggots.

>Patricians: "Yeah, season 2 had some rough patches. I really hated the James storyline"
>Plebs: "LOL I SKIPPED HALF OF THE SERIES BECAUSE A REDDIT EPISODE GUIDE IMAGE SAID TO"

Douige get ill

i've been seeing a lot of this sentiment
why do so many people say this, did he have less control over the second season or something
t. retard in need of spoonfeeding

Yes, he basically chose to though since he was upset with abc at the time he became increasing hand off through season two until he came back for the final few episodes.

James is the key to unlocking Twin Peaks. Only plebs hate his storyline.

Is Grace Zabrieski (Mrs. Palmer) a good actress?

>that leaked behind the scenes pic with Jim Belushi and co and Kyle in the desert
I think this pretty much confirms the mafia is going to find out where Coop lives and take him out to the desert to kill. It'll probably be the turning point of the series where Coop stands the best chance at getting his memory back, and also maybe the reason why we have footage of him driving a car. Maybe he kills them and steals their car.

thx

>that leaked behind the scenes pic with Jim Belushi and co and Kyle in the desert
pic or it didn't happen

Lynch literally doesn't like the entire series except the pilot.

Replace Laura with Shelly. I'm telling you, not asking you.

Dougie lose job.

shieeet

poor dougie. Looks so sad

Do you think those casino mobsters would kill Dougie's family?

Do you think this is better than the new X-Files season or American Gods?

Thank you

Half of season 2 has absolutely no worth and is a complete waste of your time and brain. You can happily fastforward most of the filler subplots. I'm sorry you wasted your time with Nadines retard strength, I'm sure it'll be relevant soon!

Now could you help a dumdum understand EP8? Just finished it. Full on Eraserhead surrealism wtf

AAAAND I'LL SEEEE YOOOOOU

...

All explosions seem pretty janky in this series (gun shots), like they affect time and space in some weird fashion. Maybe it ties into the nuclear explosion/Bob-vomit imagery somehow.

...

>humanity created the Experiment
>the Experiment created BOB
>BOB created Cooper's doppelganger
>Cooper's doppelganger "wants" the Experiment

Where is this all leading? Why did the doppelganger want to find the Experiment, was it to reunite BOB with his mother? Is the Experiment the "mother" Cooper was running from in the citadel on the sea? What if the last episode ends with David Lynch as David Lynch laughing at the camera and calling us all fucking morons?

You spend time in the emotional state of a nuclear blast. Man messing with unnatural forces unleashed a dark power into the world. I think the frogbug thing is going to lead to the birth of Bob, which would make sense if he were a real person since the timing is about right given his age in the original series, but since he's more of a freaky demon man maybe not. Weird that laura is actually an angel, makes teh end of fwwm make more sense though.

I think the card comparison is a stretch, but what do I know?

>I think the frogbug thing is going to lead to the birth of Bob
The flying frogs are separate to BOB. The flying frog hatches from one of the eggs which the Experiment spews out. BOB isn't in an egg and sort of like an "anomaly" entity. The pick of the litter.

That song has been in a couple of TV shows I've seen before, at least for comedic purposes. Good to know it's name now.

It's nice you got to see it a bit later, now you don't have to wait the full 2 weeks for the next "season". What did you not understand?

>twin peaks is good television
>overacting is artistic
Everything David Lynch does is awful

So then maybe it leads to the birth of /ourboy/ Ben Horne.

It's okay, champ, you don't have to like what we like. Now go outside and play on your swing set like a good boy.

Why do you call the vomiting figure experiment and mother? I didn't catch any reference to its name while watching the episode.

Those aren't bent back arm, those arms are literally on the wrong sides

>What did you not understand?
Everything desu. The Nuclear blast while Penderecki plays, got a light hobo man, this is the water and this is the will, frogbug. Great experience but very confusing.

helps a lot though. Feel like i should read the "lore" (books) to understand more.

Samefag here, the ears aren't exactly the same but I think it is supposed to represent the Experiment. The way Darya reacts to it is as if she's seeing evil incarnate.

Have you seen FWWM?

>Have you seen FWWM?
Yeah.

Yes, the arms bending back refers to BOB tying his victim's arms behind their backs. But we now know he did that because he was trying to make them look like his mother.

AAAAND YOU'LL SEEEEE MEEEEE

They call it mother because it's assumed that figure is the same as the scratching figure that killed the young couple on the sofa.
Apparently, just before that murder happened, Coop was in the purple room with the blind woman warning Coop her "mother" was coming.
People tried synchronising the two scenes to prove it
youtube.com/watch?v=1-BDU-TvlTg

As for "experiment", no idea, I guess I have missed that.

Theres lots of theories going around which get played off as pretty reddit on here, but it's assumed that the invention of the atom bomb started the pain/suffering which is where BOB and friends originate from.

Commentkino

underrated a f post here

No, I mean, her thumb is facing the wrong way, right?
Turn your hand 180 degrees, your palm and fingers face upwards.
Her arms aren't just bent backwards they're on the wrong way, like a reconfigured doll (Not that it means anything, maybe the artist who modelled the figure fucked up).

Hobo's flying down to earth in last ep

Absolute kekakino

Yes, I also passed kindergarten and am aware how anatomy works. Her arms are facing the wrong way. Which is why BOB tied his victim's arms around to face the wrong way.

>theorycrafting is reddit
>reddit being used at a synonym for bad

This is where we LIVE Shelly!
