I find reality-based Sup Forums works to be more personally affecting:
- Laika (a graphic novel about the dog the Soviets sent into space)
- Boxers & Saints (paired graphic novels about the Boxer Rebellion in China, as told from the perspective of two people on different sides of the conflict)
- Fax from Sarajevo (graphic novel by comics legend Joe Kubert, based on his correspondence with a journalist trapped with his family in the center of the 1990s Balkan conflict)
Oh fuck no wait, stay ouf of Plagur of Dogs then. There is no happiness in that.
Stay away from Y as well.
Iron giant?
Well, these'll go on a seperate list then.
There are days where I want depression crying too, so thanks!

What gets me even more is how you can hear in his singing how he's trying to hold back his tears.
Define "cry." There's only two things in my (adult) life that have ever made me truly cry, like real uncontrollable sobs:
Grave of the Fireflies
Les Miserables (2013)which isn't even a great movie
Iron Giant is the best thing I can think of for that bittersweet teargasm your seek. But it only gives me minor tears, personally.
