why is being nova suffering?

>skull and crossbones censorship

Every time, and it's always so good.

Why must the universe hate Sam so much?

Universe is a Richfag

I never thought I'd see that guy again

This was depressing, but still pretty good

Nextwave is real, marhty!!

Was already confirmed before in Ewing's Mighty Avengers

Fucking hell, is this the first time we've seen The Captain do anything outside of Nextwave? I sure as he'll can't remember anything besides maybe a background shot.

I loved it.
But, when this is happening?
I mean, the impression i got of previous issue is that Sam was searching for Tony during all the Ulysses kidnap thing, not after Banner death. Because in the previous issue looked like he didn't know anything that was happening, but he was there when Banner got killed.

Someone got some continuity timeline of this event? I'm confused.

>Nextwave hasn't really been a thing in a long time
this gay Earth.

The Captain finally appears somewhere else

I know, it just feels sorta unreal that I'd see The Captain of all people making an appearance again.

>The Captains drunken rants about Steve kicking his ass and leaving him in a dumpster is what inspires sam to stay the fuck out of Civil War and find some other Novas.

Say what you will about modern Marvel, when they hit it, they hit it.

His only 616 appearance outside of Nextwave and various "Who's who in Marvel Universe".
And it's on screen. Iirc, one version was in Ash Williams/Marvel Zombies comic.

I love you Captain @$^#*

The Captain giving life lessons of Nova
What did we do to deserve such greatness from current-year Marvel

And not just life lessons, but very good life lessons.

What a time to be alive.

>Carnage on a list of potential Avengers
Truly, Tony Stark has one foot in the future

Sam's mom is a milf.

also Reed's Ms Marvel
if I recall, the in-universe explanation is that H.A.T.E., or rather, whoever H.A.T.E. actually was, were using some really moonshine tier mind control on them that fucked up their memories of the time

Bullseye is on display, too.
Also, there's two Hanks. Man, Tony really wants Pym on the team.

Best is how those screens are just parts of pic related.
>Green Goblin
>Venom
>Bullseye
>Carnage
Dark Avengers, yo. Bendis' long play.

>Three Iron Men
We get it Tony

>one is Hank
>one is Skrull

>Tony knew
he deserves everything he gets doesnt he?

>Skrull Hank was so into being Hank that he started to give Tony messages just so he could fuck up as much as original.

>Skrull Hank all of sudden in middle of conversation start saying how awesome it would be if Skrulls took over Earth
>nobody even blinks

So, why did nobody show up to help Nova? Where was everyone?

fighting the Celestial I think?

Someone told me the Captain is here. Should I read the rest of the series or just enjoy this brief moment of the Nextwave being canon again?

Well even if they were busy fighting someone, the others just don't like him.

Nobody on the Avengers actually likes him

Peter actually liked him in Axis. But Parker is mostly out of the Avengers nowadays.

>mostly
Completely, he started out on the unity squad and left in the first issue.

Much thanks.

No, the celestial was previous issue.

See . Notice the panel with Carol telling the people and media about the Inhuma who can see the future. This in during the trial of hawkeye.
So this is after Banner death. Where are the others? I think we should see in the next main issue of this shitty Bendis event.

Gotta grab those Spiderbux.

He's isn't an Avenger, but he's being a hypocrite by leaving the Uncanny Avengers because of Deadpool but then becoming best friends with him.

They're all assholes, honestly Sam and Viv are unique in that way, but I doubt the hack Waid will ever do shit like that in Champions.

I mean the others are assholes, not Viv and Sam btw.

Waiting for either Tony or Ulysses to give a damn about something.

>The Captain shows up to give Kid Suffering life lessons about the importance of looking after yourself
>Sam doesn't get involved in Civil War because of the Captain getting shoved into a dumpster by Captain America, which may have been a Beyond-created false memory
The time has come, and so have I.

I think that was Toxin

Wonder how Sam will react to being on a team with Viv, whose father blackmailed him, and Cyclops, who (-se future self) he ended up fighting on one of his first days as a superhero.

holy shit

Book of the week right here

>It's a Sam says something stupid and everyone hates hi for the rest of the series issue

the fucking CAPTAIN?!

the promo stuff for champions gives an overall impression they bond over 'man, FUCK our elders', so I presume Vivian is gonna take no personal offense on Vision's behalf
>He blackmailed me, threatened my life, and got hacked by Kang like once a week
>When I Was Living In His House, I Spent Every Day Afraid That If I Was Not The Perfect Daughter He Would Shut Me Down And Build A Replacement. He Got Violent When Angry, And Destroyed Half The House In His Rage. Fuck That Asshole With A Rusty Phillips Head.

>My dad touched my usb port in a way resembling what we learned about reproduction in school

bump

>hey at least neither of your future selves are regarded as mutant Hitler

Aw, he's making Kid Hitler Manifesto.

Holy fucking shit.

Holy fucking shit, The Captain made an appearance in 2016 Marvel, and the things he did were good
My blind faith in Sam's solo runs have finally been rewarded

YES YES YES!!!

I REALLY want The Captain to become Sam's mentor since he doesn't have a older Nova to learn from.

>Cue the Nextwave theme.

Holy shit, yes. It's like Reigen

>So I met this girl named Gwen Poole, and holy shit does she have dirt on everyone
>Did you know the other Spider-Man was married? Except he sold his marriage. To the devil. His wife was pregnant at the time and the devil got that too. Little unborn baby girl now belongs to Mephisto forever.
>and you know Venom, the alien symbiote that's killed hundreds?
>all that could have been prevented had he just talked to the thing rather than try to kill it as soon as he realized it was a living being
>there's like, a dozen bad futures where he becomes some kind of flesh eating cannibal
>and for someone with a no-kill policy he sure loves inflicting fates worse than death
>there's at least a dozen villains out there he's given ptsd to

I think it's Jott fanfiction

Dude its Bendis. Sam's gonna be there.

HIS NAME IS THE CAPTAIN

>Ewing makes Nextwave canon
>the fucking Captain shows up to give Sam life advice
What a time to be alive

>MONICA
Is gonna microwave your ass!
>TABBY!
Is gonna steal all your stuff!
>AARON!
Is-going-to-organize-your-sock-drawer.
>ELSA!
Is gonna speak with an accent!
>THE CAPTAIN!
HIS NAME IS THE CAPTAIN NEXTWAAAAAAAAAVE

Nextwave has been canon since Marvel realised it was really popular, and the inconsistencies have been handwaved away as BEYOND memory alterations.

OH

MY

FUCKING

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD

>It's called gentrification, kid.

Ha!

Issue of the year

This is all I ever needed

There was also the explanation of the Beyond Corp.

Who is he?

Read Nextwave

He is THE CAPTAIN!

NOVA CONFIRMED BEST BOOK

Mole Monster has some really awful luck when it comes to Nova and ex-Nextwave members.

Nova is pretty good overall. Nothing amazing, but it's a solid cape book that's worth going back and reading from the start (Loeb/Wells/Duggan's runs).

The current run starts a bit weak, but picks up. Oddly enough, the Civil War tie-in issues have been the best so far.

THEY MAKE THE BEST PAIR

WHY DIDNT THEY DO THIS EARLIER!

CAPTAIN SAMS COOL UNCLE CONFIRMED
