Is Taiwan known in your country?

>Most South Koreans do not find Taiwan on the map
>There are many people who think that Taiwan is the capital of Thailand
>It is a popular sightseeing spot in recent years because it is cheaper than Jeju Island
>It is persecuted by China like Tibet and Hong Kong
>Tzuyu of Twice
>Taiwan No.1 joke

>>Taiwan No.1 joke
twice is popular thanks to taiwan and japanese girls unlike other gook girl's groups of ps monsters

>Most South Koreans do not find Taiwan on the map
Some people in my school could not even find all the Indian states on the map.

tfw no big boobed taiwanese gf

Yes, well, at least where I live, thay being said most of the people where I live are military or former military who have been based in that area (Taiwan, Japan, South korea) many of them bring back wives from their time in Asia. tl;dr most people from where I'm from know where places are in Asia because they've taken women from there.

Yes, it's the most popular Asian nation here.

Taiwan is literally the most cucked country in east asia.

I love Tzuyu.

I wonder, are all the East Asian countries not a part of the same cultural sphere like how the Western countries are? Don't you watch Chinese/Korean movies and listen to their songs and stuff? Once I saw a Japanese poster on Sup Forums being unable to identify a Hong Kong flag, I mean, that could happen to normies, but for someone interested in world cultures (since he uses Sup Forums) it seemed very strange.

fug u jap

he is a recognized infamous spammer on int. just leave him alone.

Just Taiwan is an unimportant state in East Asia. In the media of East Asia (South Korea, China, Japan) usually, articles about South Korea, China, Japan and North Korea are international aspect.

What about Hong Kong?

TAIWAN IS TRUE CHINA
TAIWAN NUMBER 1

yes of course it was part of the empire like korea was ;^)

thanks i will ignore him

>I wonder, are all the East Asian countries not a part of the same cultural sphere like how the Western countries are?
There's a cliche term " sinosphere", under which East Asia historically used to revolve around Chinese dynasties. today? not really.
> Don't you watch Chinese/Korean movies and listen to their songs and stuff?
Nope, it's because I'm indifferent to any kind of pop culture. It's true young generation in Japan are familiar with Korean pop culture tho. Modern China has no cultural influence on Japan. Korean films are considered good and I agree with it, sometimes too americanized, tho.
>Once I saw a Japanese poster on Sup Forums being unable to identify a Hong Kong flag, I mean, that could happen to normies, but for someone interested in world cultures (since he uses Sup Forums) it seemed very strange.
1. Well, it's not that strange I guess. HK flag is not known to the vast majority of us. If he doesn't know Chinese or Korean flags, then he must not have an ounce of intelligence and common sense tho.
2. Japanese posters aren't necessarily here to know world culture. Most of them trap themselves in their general or appear only in threads related to their own country.

Do Indians Care about Sri Lanka or Nepal? Just They are Too Small to Raise Their Voice in This Region. Except for Jackie Chan.

I've come across many people who thinks Taiwan is part of China while Hong Kong is its own thing.

In our case it's not because HK is small (they are actually big considering their economy and history) but rather because we don't recognize HK as more than one of the provinces in China.

Yeah, but I think the educated people would be able to recognise their flags at least, I don't know. :|

We hate japs for ww2

My restaurant doesn't even serve Jap monkey

I've met a taiwanese guy at international fair. He showed me Taiwan on a map and gave me a rice cookie.

That's good

You guys should export some painter to germany soon...

why don't you appreciate Liberation of Asia™

Do you appreciate Liberation of Hiroshima©

opinion objectively discarded

only japan was able to liberate asia

Nobody Dislike Hong Kong and Taiwanese Chinese People in South Korea. Just they have no influence in South Korea. Hong Kong people I met were generally friendly though. I actually think Hong Kong/Taiwanese Chinese People are Good at English.

here we go again..

why the fuck is Washington and Oregon crossed out?
The British colonized it

Not even Taiwanese people think that anymore

>Work in an industry that's mostly Chinese or Taiwanese
>Taiwanese are usually far more Westernized/normal to talk to
>Can talk about sports, light politics, food, whatever etc
>PRCers in conversation are always much more awkward and robotic
>They can't relate to anything almost
>Seem to be afraid to even have an opinion
>Clam up at even a light political joke (say about Trump)

kek'd

Only pussy ones do Mr. Chang.
If you did not know, Taiwan recently voted in a party that is pro-Taiwan

The air of freedom makes Taiwanese nice...?

Do you see any alternative to save europe except for turning germany back to NS?

no idea

Why save Europe?
It doesn't benefit me.
I'm not some heritage nigger

Cute commie propaganda

>commie
Just because they used that song in the east as well doesn´t make it commie propaganda.
That happens when you build deathcamps and occupy a country for decades.

People know its a place because all the stuff says Made in Taiwan. Some people think its like Tibet, a part of China that is persecuted. Some special idiots think that it is in Tibet.

it was written by a commie you fucking retard

>hurr durr wanting to kick out foreign invaders is commie

From Ernst Busch wikipedia, the guy who wrote said song.

>Busch was the son of bricklayer Friedrich Busch and his wife Emma. He graduated from 1915 to 1920 training as a tool mechanic and then worked as a shipyard worker. He joined in 1916 the Socialist Workers Youth , 1918 the SPD . Under the impression of the Kiel sailor uprising in 1918, he had his party book in early 1919 to rewrite the USPD .
>Busch was to be arrested after the seizure of power of the Nazi Party because of his political views of the SA . By fortunate circumstances, he escaped one of the first raids in the artists' colony in Berlin-Wilmersdorf , including on 9 March 1933. When the SA wanted to arrest Busch at 12 noon, no one opened, so the SA suspected Bush had already fled. But Busch was warned and now wanted to leave Germany quickly. Busch then fled with his wife, the singer Eva Busch , first in the Netherlands. From there followed other stations: Belgium, Zurich, Paris, Vienna and finally the Soviet Union, where he worked for Radio Moscowworked. [6]
>Busch was also known as the interpreter of the songs of Hanns Eisler ( The Secret March ) and International Workers' and Socialist Propaganda Songs . In addition, he led until 1953 the record company Lied der Zeit , the first and only record company of the SBZ / DDR. Lied der Zeit was the predecessor of the VEB Deutsche Schallplatten with the sub- labels Eterna and Amiga , which also came under Busch. In 1956, 1966 and 1979 he received the National Prize of the GDR . From 1963 to 1975 he played in the record series Aurora of the German Academy of Artsabout 200 of his songs. He was a member of the Academy.
