I'm playing this at the moment, and seeing as it's too unknown to get adapted, what are some movies with the same feel?

I hate this thread and I hate you. Heres a bump. Fuck

Good game. Although the second one IMO was less good.
Movies? No idea, but if their is any they are probably crap.

Wasnt it inspired by Drive ?

I'm playing the second, and the story is so bizarre.

Latest level I'm on is Demolition and I have no fucking idea what the story is.

Watched that movie today, I regret it. I usually like movies but that was all around bad.

Drive, The Miami Connection, Beyond the Black Rainbow

Drive and cocainecowboys i belive

Only in terms of music and violence. Drive is such a slow burn and HM is incredibly fast-paced

>I have no fucking idea what the story is.
The second has story?

It requires reading some supplementary material but yeah, it has a pretty neat plot.

What is this genre(?) called? It's like a 80s feel, Vice city had the same feeling to it. This opening from The Simpsons captures it perfectly.

Also Moonbeam City is what you want to watch OP.

Maybe retro?

Hotline Miami and Drive got me into Neo-80s.
Sadly there isn't enough of the genre.
Hobo with a Shotgun kinda has the music but not really the aesthetic.
Blood Dragon used the same song and was Neo-80s all the way.
Recommend me so more Neo-80s.

It's not a genre, it's more of an aesthetic.

Please respond.

It's a 2010s re-imagining/parody of Florida during the 1980s.

Vaporwave and futurefunk are similar, but less about Florida specifically.

Are you guys such babies you cry about others hobbies on an anonymous image board?

90% sure a movie is in the works.

>creators said they hated HLM
>thought it was underdeveloped and overall a shit game
>also wanted to name is Cocaine Cowboys like retards
>Said it literally put them into depression despite the game being praised as amazing
>Said they though the second game was a masterpiece and what they originally wanted to do
>Despite 1 being infinitely better than 2

But anyway

Drive
Only God Forgives
Neon Demon
Gangster Squad
Various Tarantino films
Baby Driver

Unfortunately there aren't a whole lot of movies that really encapsulate the feel of high adrenaline, ultra-violence and neo-noir the way HLM does. But all of these movies take bits and pieces of that kind of genre

It Follows has that modern 80s feel.
