I know this isn't a popular opinion, but I strongly subscribe to the belief that the Superman seen in All-Star Batman and Robin is the same Superman seen All Star Superman. They just take place at both extreme points in his career.

I like that Supes is running on water rather than flying for two reasons.
1. The fact he's running and not flying implies that he's either faster on his feet than in the air or he still hasn't learned how to fly yet because he is still early in his career.

I see it more as a logical progression of Batman's personality from Year One to now. For the past couple years he has been day in and day out fighting crime and scaring the shit out of criminals.
