>The novel Desperate Hours identifies the character as Ensign Jira Narwani, a junior tactical officer.

>Desperate Hours is a Pocket DIS novel – the first novel in the series – written by David Mack. Published by Pocket Books, it was first released in trade paperback in September 2017, in conjunction with the first season of Star Trek: Discovery.

i thought crouching tiger hidden dragon already died

>STD Threads

take a knee for std

>when ST was starting B&W TV was still the norm
that kinda activates the almonds, doesn't it?

is the longhaired blonde qt someone that'll actually be on the show?

Where are the DIS pepes?

Moves out of cover and gives up his advantage to tell his enemy to be quiet. Stupid stupid kanglon.

>DIS
>Pepe
a crying black female Wojak maybe

>DIS

did you see that white man take a swing at her?

she really put him in his place

>autistic screeching michael.jpg

did you see that asian lady take a swing at her?

she really put her in her place

beat me to it, wanted to correct myself with
>unless you're talking about actual captain
or something

>literally tree powered
Fuck this noise, I'm out.

youtu.be/ufLSCE--djg?t=96

Apparently Doug Jones' ass normally gets padding because it's so weirdly flat but they held off on the padding for this show to make him look more alien.

We need a shush Pepe for the Klingon.

>video is not available

YASS

Sexy as fuck.

At least you get the show on Netflix

They already got original novels? Cool.

Good

who is this brownfu

>Spock commits mutiny
>Michael commits mutiny

Is there something flawed with Sarek's parenting to lead to such disobedient children?

she's the main protagonist of Battlefront 2

>show stolen by $CBS from a fan film that was beloved because it was good

It's so bad it's actually stolen second hand fanfic. Corpfic.

muh dik

youtube.com/watch?v=1W1_8IV8uhA

why they dont just took the enterprise j and travel through galaxies? They have 1 million on board there would be even place for a ds9 like spin off on the ship.

Also they wouldtn need to care any canon

Everyone poos in the loo in the future. I see no problem with sexing her up.

He died for their sins, heathen.

>Star trek is over
>that butthurt whining

The pendulum is moving faster than was predicted.

>fungi
>trees

Look at who failed high school biology

>canon
I'm not a fan of prequels for that very reason.

When will they introduce the doc?

>fungi-magic powered teleporting starship

They did on the Shenzhou.

Sexy Klingon coming through

>"lets hire a really hot indian woman..."
>"I'm listening"
>"then put her in unflattering clothes and hide her gorgeous face with a stupid helmet"
>"I love it"

Why is this thread so slow compared to the previous one

Always good to see people in public positions using their freedom of expression to stand up for the underprivileged.
Isn't it Johnathan from 30 Rock?

10/10

would eat gagh out of her asshole

The whiners and racists made a separate thread. Let's hope they stay there.

I really liked this episode.
It had a Dead Space vibe half way through, reminding me of a generic early 00s sci-fi show.
I would use this episode as a Pilot, just tweaking a few things first to make the plot coherent like some character delivering exposition about the klingon war and how Michael started it, etc and use the Shenzou scenes from the first episode as some sort of Flashback scattered through out the season, like Lost flashbacks.
I'm still pretending this isn't trek
Overall, I'm looking forward to it

>DIS
Still trying to force this name.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

>I'm still pretending this isn't trek
It's okay, it's a new canon.

strawpoll.me/14062493

Is Michelle Yeoh even going to be in this series anymore?

we dont know, maybe as a flashback or hallucination-y thing

>Michael mutinies trying to scare off the Klingons and prevent the war
>everyone blames her for starting it
huh?

People always need a scapegoat.

probably for murdering tkuvma

>daftpunkfu is poo-in-loo under helmet

this show just keeps getting better and better!

>puts phaser to kill on t'kuvma

She deliberately put her phaser on kill, killed the leader of the Klingon coalition firsthand out of anger, then admitted to all her charges when she got back. She is directly responsible.

but she's not even trying to defend herself
>If my mutiny succeed there would be no war you'know?
that was way after the war started tho and has nothing to do with her mutiny

>/DIS/ General thread
>Not one Disney related image or post
Never change Sup Forums

She did start it, though - she killed that random Klingon on the probe.

how dedicated and/or autistic does one have to be to post that same image every fucking thread?!

what's your intent? do you want everyone to stop watching star trek because you think those people are anti-american or something? go back to >>Sup Forums

>it's a Michael is an unlikeable sarcastic sullen smug bitch episode

wait, so you're trying to tell me that the whole "mutiny" thing she was judged for was her shooting a guy that killed her captain and recently lead the massacre of Fed forces, and not the whole
>knock out your captain, try to take command and fire first
thing?

I'm thinking that if this show gets a second season, the discovery will somehow get sent through time into the 25th century so that they can have some of the old trek actors make an appearance

>Intentions are the same as results
A first officer trying to mutiny, including incapacitating the captain, during the most major incident in contemporary history is going to greatly impact the ability of the crew to function. Any failures of the crew in negotiating peace can be attributed to her splitting their attention (from the federation perspective).
Plus she killed the torch bearer, which might be seen as something which helped kick off the conflict (it's unknown if the Feds know what the Klingons are actually fighting for)
Plus she killed their best bartering chip because muh logic

>Michael is an unlikeable
Stopped reading right there.

nemesis was a flop it wont happen, young spock is 100x times more likely

That was just one of her charges. They brought up the insubordination and general lack of concern for her crewmates and assualting her superior too. She copped all the charges. She has massive self hate for the upbringing she had.

I'm loving the shills trying to push the /DIS/ name when we've been calling it /STD/ since day one and will call it that forever.

Sarek is conducting cruel experiments to see if humans physiology can adapt to Vulcan mental expectations. This is all so he can take down the Federation.

no other series has that naming convention stop trying to force some lame joke

I honestly love Discovery
>ancient Klingon religious relics in space
>xenoarcheology
>Section 31
>interstellar war
>Federation 31
>mobile mad science lab spaceship
>''You actually thought Federation is a democracy ? HA!''
>10/10 visuals
>interstellar war

Honestly only after 3 episodes it looks like it could be best Star Trek ever.

I mean, he married a human woman, right? He's not exactly a model of obedience.

People pretty much instantly got over the new Klingon look, huh?

Why would you wear that helmet? It makes no sense.

still if not for the court, than at least for yourself and your conscience, and also other prisoners and shit a line like
>if I knocked her out for 10 seconds longer those 8k people may still have been alive
is something I'm pretty sure I'd use

I just wish some of them had hair.

What is bait?

It's STD

Please fix and repost the thread

Don't really care what they look like. They're klingons, the niggers of space.

It's not bait.
They look like normal klingons once you add hair. Another user a week ago did it.

orcs*

Yeah, I'm pretty sure someone would mercy kill you if you said that.
>Hey guys, I committed a crime nobody has ever committed in the history of our organization, and I wish I'd done it worse!

not really, they look bad and they language now sounds like garbage, but at least they don't look violet like on some previews earlier

I also find it quite amusing that a quite "progressive" show made them into most ridiculous blackface possible, I mean you couldn't make them look any more like Afrian Tribesmen even if you tried

Probably because most don't have the whole story and the fact that she's legally responsible for every Fed death in that battle.

>people watching this leftist shit

>and they language now sounds like garbage,

it's the same thing though, the only reason it's noticeable is because the first two episodes had crazy long scenes where they spoke it

yeah, have been for 20 years now
suck it, newfag

>not being leftist
How's it feel to be a retard?
