Endtown 2017-01-25

It just got real.

Walt's getting framed.

How could they? Why would he want her dead?

To plow her still warm body?

Walt is cute

I thought so too, but how did they know he'd go to Portia's house?

apartment*

Obviously suicide. The guilt of her crime was just too much for her.

I am more curious to know if they actually knew each other. Given how he knows her name, and that we would be kind enough t pay him a visit just to check on her, one would assume they are friends.

>Ib4 Walt cheated on Dottie with Piggu and she's gonna find out soon.

I think they're just implying Walt is on a first-name basis with a lot of residents. He seemed to know those trouble-makers too, after all.

He just helped her earlier, what would be his motive for killing her?....

From an investigative standpoint, he might have roughed up those other guys to make her trust him.

so suicide, set up or did Walt interrupt a baconing?

There's something sinister going on with Portia. She may not be dead, and might be in something deeper herself.

Going by that phone call that is.

>her*

Is this loss?

That's assuming he wanted to kill her since then and you still haven't given a motive.

I said "from an investigative standpoint" meaning I don't believe he did it, but someone in charge of investigating the charges would have to consider it.

Extortion racket.

But we asked about the motive. Also, that's a poor investigation.

You are terribly biased. I can tell you like Walt, but someone in charge of a murder investigation HAS to consider him. Or THAT'S a poor investigation.

As for motive, you can come up with quite literally anything. "Being so sick of beans he wanted to try pork." "He's a predator and we know we can't trust those!" "He's a serial killer and we only just now found out!" It's not hard to come up with reasons, just making them stick is the challenge. And we don't have enough info to do that right now.

Someone make this.

>You are terribly biased.
>>says the "investigator" who considers him guilty until proven otherwise
Thought I was in America.

What the fuck? I said I don't believe he did it. It's an investigator's job to LOOK for reasons he could have for a motive. Someone investigating wouldn't have the luxury of these segues between scenes and I'm trying to be objective.

Would you really just not have suspects in mind? Especially given Walt's closeness to the situation?

I suspect on the wolves who have a case against Walt and need her out of the way, Sherlock.

Yeah, no shit. That's the luxury of being a third party observer to the goings-on of the comic. I'm talking purely from someone's eyes in-universe that, yes, they should be suspecting Walt to some degree.

But I hope Walt ends up being the killer, just to spite you.

>That's the luxury of being a third party observer to the goings-on of the comic.
You're a fucking idiot, it doesn't take that to conclude that he simply found the body or know the info about those wolves. What the fuck is your problem?

>B-but Walt's a big Teddy bear! No one is allowed to keep him as a suspect!
He discovered the body. He's closely tied to the events the night before. He'd be a suspect in a real-life investigation. Get over it.

>the first 24 endtown when?

48*

fuck, i messed up

>But I hope Walt ends up being the killer, just to spite you

Not like it's any skin off anyone's nose if a fictional character turns out to be a murderer.

>Walt then hops into his white Bronco and leads Endtown security on a slow 13 hour chase on LA's freeways.

calling it: there's a pig mutant uprising happening (possibly like the lizards at unity), and those who don't join the cause get murdered. Portia may still be alive, so her murderer is either sloppy or something else is afoot here.

...

Dammit now I really want to see detective Dottie in action

>Dottie in action

So do i, user... so do I.

...

Please let Portia still be alive. We need new characters to stick around, fuck-dammit!

>We need new characters to stick around
How long have you been reading?

I believe that, being the most no-nonsense person besides Allie, Jim could've been a great partner for detective work.

i've been out of the loop... what happened to wally?

he got cucked by the AI

He's fine, you should be asking about Holly.

She's fine too

Have you tried just reading until you catch up?

wtf is this furry shit

>no "Take it to Sup Forums"

You are losing your touch.

So is this an alternate universe, or....?

I'm all for the KirbeexWally ship but the last time we saw them they were wandering around a desert. Is that storyline just shelved for now?

>Is that storyline just shelved for now?
Yes.

>Is that storyline just shelved for now?

unfortunately, for a year or two.

gotta wait for the fallout to pass before working with wally again.

...

>reasons he could have for a motive
Yeah, that's what the other guy was asking.
The 'roughed up wolves to gain her trust' thing would only have been useful in a situation where he already wanted to kill her, so it's not really anything but a reason for having beaten up the wolves.

Well, walking through a desert isn't exactly daily sitcom shenanigans material.
Endtown itself meanwhile is a bunch of people who often don't like each other in a small space that is actually shown remarkably little for being the title of the comic, I'm okay with seeing the other characters for a while.
