>not ranking every saw film ten out of ten
>he hasn't seen jigsaw at least three times so far
>he's not planning to see it five times in total

which is the best movie? never seen them before, should I just go in order?

yes

5 is noir kino, anyone who thinks otherwise should off themselves. 6 is overrated garbage.
>but i sure love watching a man go through a series of traps to decide whether or not his associates should live or die
Yeah, that sure is fun to watch for the third time. Especially when the traps are the lamest, most uninspired of the series while the rest of the film is consumed by uninteresting irrelevant flashbacks. Only good thing about 6 is the ending and right now you're feeling helpless scene.

>should I go in order in a numbered series of films

FUCK YOU

>5 is noir kino

1>2>3>6>8>4>5>7

the first is probably the best since it's actually a straight forward good psychological horror

the sequels get pretty retarded, but the 6th is probably the best since it goes back to psychological horror rather than just gore, however you won't know what the fuck is going on unless you've watched the rest of the series

6 is trolley problem kino, the whole series should be like that, forcing the characters to make horrible moral choices that most people would actually make a decision on, rather than just mutilate themselves for them to inevitably fail, which isn't as exciting because you know what'll probably happen and what'd probably happen to you if you were in that situation

Replace 7 with 4 and I'll agree with you.

i honestly give it praise just bc eric matthews stuck around, 7 was laughably bad

so its good?

Ya it's meh

Oh shit, there's another one?

Why are most horror films so fucking bad?
letterboxd.com/Heirobosch/

My Halloween month wasn't so bad

1. The Fall of the House of Usher 1928
2. Day of Wrath 1943
3. Ginger Snaps 2000
4. Psycho II 1983
5. Triangle 2009
6. I Saw the Devil 2010
7. Alucarda 1977
8. The Reflecting Skin 1990
9. Shivers 1975
10. Häxan 1922
11. The Grapes of Death 1978
12. Psychomania 1973
13. The Addiction 1995

Biggest suprise : Ginger Snaps
Biggest letdown : Häxan
