I fucking loathe the contrarian nature of this board. Larry was /ourguy/ until the new season started.
Curb, Futurama, Louie (show not his stand up), Seinfeld, Frasier, Malcolm in the middle, Always Sunny, Eastbound and Down, Vice Principals, The League, and Schindlers list
Also Trailer Park Boys and Nathan For You
I'm a big fan of Mel Brooks. You could try that. I think that Young Frankenstein is on Netflix.
I've checked out Nathan For You after all these recommendations and it seems really bad, like literally penis and poo flavour jokes along with Parcs&Rec-style zoom-in-on-awkward-situations humour. Does it get better after the first episode?
>watching worse Seinfeld
The first episode is the worst one, so yes.
Burn After Reading
Alright maybe I'll watch another. I can see how it appeals to autistic people though, with that protagonist.
You clearly only watched the first couple minutes you filthy fucking pleb. The first episode gets better than the first skit.
>but the pizza
>will only be 1 inch big
But there are much much better skits than what the first episode has.
>Nathan's scam for one dollar TVs
My sides fucking ascended.
>bojack horseman

I heard this was good. Why did you like it?
The funniest thing I've experienced recently was this video
youtube.com
and then seeing one of the comments saying this
"James Rolfe tells his "invisible" Super C story to Mike Matei who was there and knew exactly what happened"
because thats exactly what the video is.

No, I watched the rest, we just have a different sense of humour. I don't know why you have to get personal but I find this kind of humour actually rather plebeian.
It's always the same setup, based on one rather autistic loophole/third grade joke, and then five minutes of stretching it out beyond any suspension of disbelief to get that cringe feeling.
"aaaand.. you wil sell pooop!!" "He can't be serious?!" "He actually is!!"
"aaaaand.. they will get a pizza but it''ll actually be smaller than they expect because we didn't specify the size!!" "He can't be serious..."
It reminds me of my actually autistic roommate in high school who found it crazy hilarious when people said one thing that'd bite them in the back if you took it completely literal against all social conventions.
Not trying to shit on stuff, just disappointed because I was hyped for something funny.
but the real kicker is still the fact that the video specifically states how he is telling the story of what happened, to Mike, who was clearly right there when it happened and already knew everything James was going to mention.

30 Rock
>stretching it out beyond suspension of disbelief
There doesn't need to be any suspension of belief you fucking idiot because it's not scripted or staged. Nathan's producers line it up for him by saying that he's basically an extreme makeover type show then he gets there and does his ridiculous business promotions. There are a couple staged things like the machine that strips him in front of all the kids, but all the reactions from business owners are genuine and they've even had multiple things get on the news during production because of the fact that he actually did the shit. The most famous example being "dumb starbucks" where he took an indie coffee shop and legally called it that under parody laws to get the brand recognition starbucks has.
I also remember an episode where the guy caught onto what he was doing and told him to fuck off and don't come back.
Knock Knock
Let the haha commence!
This. It's why he refused to say the child molester shit during the job interview.
