2017 and this still hasn't been adapted to the big screen yet

>2017 and this still hasn't been adapted to the big screen yet

(Evolution doesn't count, and you know it doesn't)

I'm giving it a MAX of 5 years until Disney buys the rights.

I hope you get suffocated to death when you go to sleep tonight.

>2017 and this still hasn't been adapted to the big screen yet

user, I...

nah Disney won't buy this shit. The characters are all weird and not appealing to a broad audience. The core fanbase is manchilds over 25. Terrible business decision.

He clearly said Evolution doesn't count.

Think before you post and spout more shit you absolute cretin.

Netflix with a real asian stunt team.
Movie would never work.
It's a soap opera

It just won't work, the whole point of Dragon Ball is the fact that it is animated, which allows them to go absolutely fucking crazy with fight scenes.

Also, Battle of Gods/Resurrection of Frieza were both big screen releases.

you could say the same about Thor, Hulk, most Star Wars characters etc

Are there any good live action anime adaptions?
Wicked City and the 2nd guyver movie are the only two I can think of.

DBZ is essentially Star Wars but with way more fight scenes.

Give them a Justice League budget and I see no reason why it can't be done.

Why is this soyboy Sup Forumsedditor allowed to spam this everyday?

best dbz movie came out in 2014

you need quips tho. you can't just have a movie sold to normies with characters that SPEAK LIKE THIS ALL THE FUCKING TIME!!11 and have ridiculous battle sequences

Evolution does count.

this.
they should shot a movie for 15 ysears like Boyhood to get Goku grow up? ot doing it with different actors?
DB>DBZ >DBGT >pile of shit >>>>DBS

Also those humanoid dog/cat/pig people. It would look ridiculous on a liveact

>tfw no complete guyver anime adaption

Don't use the word "normies" if you expect people to believe you aren't part of the problem. It is and was always called "normalfag", "normies" is just a word actual normalfags use because it sounds less offensive, normalfag that joined Sup Forums is the last year.

Not really though, since it has absolutely FUCKALL to do with the sauce material bar the names of characters.

>2014

In a time where comic books movies are full of weird characters and massive fight scenes, DBZ is highly possible now.

Hell it might even be good.

I am an actual normalfag tho I'm just trying to speak your language is all

>liking Dwagonballz past puberty

it's time to grow up.

All they did was attach the Dragonball name to it. Nothing else comes close to resembling the anime.

Blade of the immortal (ptetty rushed, tho and they did some shortcut to end)
Rouroni Kenshin (tho, too long)

I'm glad nobody responded to the stupid star wars post

japanese death note movies aren't too bad.
i think battle royale might have been a manga, not sure though

Why do amerimutts love this pleb shit so much?

It's simple and violent.

It's escapism. It's a cartoon disguised as "action". Even though 99% of the dialogue is extremely cringeworthy, and the fighting is incredibly predictable.

They can't. They consume only capeshit and watch video games. Look at the other posts in this thread
these are adult children

A Dragon Ball origins could work.

Focus it on Master Roshi, Goku and maybe Piccolo. Keep it in Japan and structure it like a Chinese Martial Arts / Wuxia film.

Something like Hero or Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. DBZ would require a HUGE budget for any justice to be done. And I don't think studios would take such a risk on an anime adaptation.

What we need is an evangelion adaptation.

i was about to

It makes them feel white when le super saiyan happens.

It's a projecting thing.

A trilogy could work fine, the fight scenes would have to be considerably more downplayed and more on a traditional martial arts level.

Film 1: Adventure to find the Dragon Balls. Piccolo fucks shit up at the end.
Film 2: Vegeta/Nappa (no Raditz, revelation that Goku and Piccolo are both aliens)
Film 3: Frieza (film that ties Goku, Piccolo and Vegeta together against the ultimate threat)

No Gohan.
Bring Mr. Satan/Hercule in early for comic relief.
Focus on Bulma being the one to humanize Vegeta.

>Zack Snyder's Dragon Ball Z
>To make the universe more gritty now there's no way to bring people back to life
>Everyone dies during the Saiyan arc
