KNEEL BEFORE KINO!

KNEEL BEFORE KINO!

How can Marvel even compete?

>How can Marvel even compete?

one (1) billion (1,000,000,000) dollars

B-b-b-b-but no Oscar!

Marvel can only accept the lesser title of Oscar nominee..
Which comes with double box office money.

where it counts.

2017, the year DCfriends decided the Oscars were the absolute objective measure of greatness, and lost the last remaining shreds of credibility.

>DC has three oscars now.

Really makes you think.

DC is like a medium rare steak, whereas marvel is a cheeseburger. the steak has more depth to its flavor and is better for you, but a burger is cheap and still tastes pretty good in its own right.

DCEU is a steak cooked by an 8 year old.

They honestly thought they could just throw it on the grill with no spices and serve it well done, and are shocked that no one likes it.

But at least it somehow looked nice.

Is this a real cover?

Comics:

>DC killing it
>Marvel embarrassing itself and chasing leftovers when it used to dominate

Movies:

>Marvel killing it
>DC embarrassing itself and chasing leftovers when it used to dominate

THUS WE HAVE BROUGHT BALANCE TO THE WORLD

Well done is pretty good.
That's why they make steak sauce.

>They honestly thought they could just throw it on the grill with no spices and serve it well done, and are shocked that no one likes it.
You could have said they served it well done with a side of ketchup.

Steak sauce is just there to carry shitty steak user.

>that cap outfit
Everytime.

8 year olds are pretty crafty. Anyone can learn to cook a steak.

Apparently money can't quite seem to buy talent or any sort of quality for that matter.

Marvel is doomed. Ben Afflec will rise from the ashes to usher us into an age of enlightenment while marvel dance offs into oblivion. The Batman total Oscars? Minimum 3.

Is Keno kino?

Is that a real cover? Cause that's almost as bad as 10/10 Arkham City

Steak sauce is a complimentary addition.

At least Marvel is doing well on the TV front.

Yes, so is ketchup.

Mmm, DC.

This DC is amazing.

I know how you feel about cereal Geoff but this is pushing it.

God, I love DC.

presumably by hiring better makeup artists

Go to bed, Johns.

>needing sauce to enjoy your steak
then its just a shitty steak

So creative.

>this thread
You fucker, I was trying to hold off until morning.

Just a mix of good things all in one movie.

Just throw all that shit in there, yeah. Get creative.

Yeah but they keep making more money anyway

Who cares if it's nothing like the source? It'll taste just as great!

Imagine being this mad over batnz

>one (1) billion (1,000,000,000) dollars

Between the three films released so far, DCEU had surpassed the $2B mark in the box office.

>incoming extensive food metaphors

Usually when you grill a steak the best seasoning is a small amount of salt and better at best.

>salt and better at best
Where the fuck is my head.

Salt and pepper at most.

Less is more with steak.
Though I've had good luck with some marinades; usually "burgundy pepper"

Yeah, let whatever his name is, Lex Luger force old man to eat jolly ranchers, who cares!

I won $2500 out of that so it's a yes in my book.

Steak and ketchup don't really go that well together.

Want him to piss in jars? Why not?

Joker with shitty hot topic tier tattoos? Sign me up!

i would eat most of these

>nothing like the source.
I vehemently disagree and I don't even like these movies, DCEU is way more comic accurate.

I'm out of shitty food but I had fun shitposting.

>less is more
Agreed that a perfectly cooked steak matters the most to a steak's taste above all else, but salt and pepper alone don't add much to the flavor for me since they're already present in most other meals.

So long as we agree that a well done steak belongs in the trash (as if I could throw away perfectly edible food away like that, but you get the sentiment) I'd gladly eat at your place anytime.

>nothing like the source
Yetah! Why can't DC be more accurate with their movies like Mar-
>Tony created Ultron
Oh
>Tony is Spider-man's mentor
Oh wait
>Baron mondo hates magic
Shit how do I turn this off
>Ego the living planet is star-lord's father

I don't like Marvel movies much either, little buckaroo.

DC has 2 billion with 3 films

I think I have autism, but that shit bothers me. To get those tats the Joker would have to sit still for fucking hours, which is very unlike the Joker, Leto Joker in particular.

Also your image makes me want to commit suicide

>>Tony is Spider-man's mentor

This actually really bothers me

yes. it's also the adds on the shelve kiosks

>Tony created Ultron
Better than Doomsday being a Zod zombie
>Tony is Spider-man's mentor
Batman only stopped murdering after Super Jesus died for his sins.
>Baron mondo hates magic
Pa Kent wanted Clark to let people die, and eventually died himself to uphold this absurd position. Nice.
>Ego the living planet is star-lord's father
Jimmy Olson is a CIA agent. And dead.

The MCU is shit but don't pretend the DCEU doesn't smell at least as bad.

This one looks tasty.

That's pretty funny to be honest

Yeah they only had to use their biggest properties to do so right off the bat.

Meanwhile Marvel is taking no name properties and turning them into near billion dollar flicks like Gotg. Face it, DC is using pre-existing interest in a handful of character to float an otherwise aped cinematic effort while Marvel is taking B and C list properties and turning them into household names.

everything multimedia dc shits on marvel even movies"animated". the tv shows are subjective and debatable.

Marvel is officially the Keit-ai of Superhero Movies.

>near billion dollar flicks like Gotg

Not really near billion when it doesn't even make 800mil

I never thought of it like that, Marvel is basically turning their characters into Pop Culture Icons in much the same way DC did with 60s Batman, 70s Wonder Woman, Donner's Superman and Tim Burton's Batman.

Wait for the sequel.

I know terrible right for an completely out of nowhere IP. Marvel should be so ashamed, I'm sure the sequels won't make more than that.

Except DC hasn't put out anything really all that worthwhile in terms of cartoons in quite some time. You still got video games though, so good for you there.

>for an completely out of nowhere IP.

I'm sure the MCU branding did nothing to help the film

Neither did Batman and Superman

hey DC fags have been saying that about films and they did about the same.

Batman v Superman did make over 800mil.

If that were true why didn't Antman sell that much?

>Better than Doomsday being a Zod zombie.
Is it tho?

>hey DC fags have been saying that about films

So they're also wrong. Close to a billion is like 20 or 30 mil off, not fucking 230

Yes actually, particularly since Ultron wasn't a giant Cave Troll/Ninja Turtle.

I think people should pit the porn parody Marvel and DC movies against each other and compare them.

Because GoTG looked like and was a great film with really good marketing. The adds for Ant-Man had Paul Rudd saying "lol My name is shit!"

As if it really matters or negates the point the person was trying to make with Gotg. You're just using superfluous nitpicking to try and negate a point that stand inarguable all the same. GOTG was Marvel making gold from virtually nothing meanwhile DC is still struggling to ape movies with Superman, Batman and Wonderwoman.

Green lantern the animated series was just four years ago and Justice League action is currently ongoing.

But according to you MCU branding was the only reason GOTG made the bank that it did.

And no one cares about either. Batman the Brave and the Bold was the last DC offering anyone honestly gave a shit about.

You know it wasn't that long ago that "DC' had two Batman films make over a billion.

I'm sure they are crying all the way to the bank.

It's not the only reason but are you really saying it wasn't a big help?

Yet a Batman and Superman movie couldn't. Really makes you think huh?

Except we're not talking about design
>they're about the same in quality
We're talking which one is faithful to the comics.

Not really. It was a bad movie. That doesn't say anything about the popularity of the characters. It's that Snyder is incompetent and nepotism is cancer

Since nothing about it even seemed remotely Marvel to the casual viewer and the marketing as being part of the MCU being so subversive I really have to question it's value.

>Pa Kent wanted Clark to let people die,
No he didn't.

Ultron was still leagues more faithful.

And that was the point all along so....

>Both of the DCEU films made the top 10

Yeah this shit isn't going anywhere

>nepotism is cancer
This is an absolute truth.

Yeah, no matter how much they shoveled at Leto, Smith, or reshoots, Skwad just couldn't be good.

>jimmy olsen is a CIA agent
I have no problem with this.
>and dead
I have no problem with this.

>Ultron was still leagues more faithful.

Not really. Doomsday's origin was different but he was still a raging spastic. Ultron's motive was the same but his characteristics were way off

>Ultron was still leagues more faithful.
How? Doomsday is a flat character so all that matters is that he sorta kills superman which he did.

Maybe you should read a comic with Ultron in it sometime.

So then all that matters is how he looks and how he's used in a story, which in BvS was an abortion.

BvS had a huge drop off in seats. That number was basically made in the first week. If WW sours up as bad enjoy watching Thor of all things out perform Justice League.

He was a damn cave troll in BvS. They weren't even trying.
