Find a flaw.

In Moana the character or Moana the movie?
Cause the character was fine, but the movie sort of sucked.

that pose looks pretty unnatural but thats what happens when you cap animations i guess

um as a flaw overall um

its just another movie about a spunky chick who dont take shit and didny already made like 20 of those

This desu, every problem with that movie was about the story and less about the character

The movie was great you plebs

Pixels?

The "Hero faces Three Challenges" trope should have been better executed by tying all three villains together plot wise.

First act was a little too long.

Moana should have sung the song of the elders at the end of the film to mark her coming of age.

Heihei should have had more screen time.

retard

She's the CGI Disney princess 3.0

Rapunzel
Anna
Moana

All quirky royalty who want more from life and join up with a snarky guy on their quest to prove that they can surpass the barriers imposed on them, displaying both blood boiling naivete and unusual competence in dangerous situations despite lack of experience

They wear dresses and have an animal sidekick. There's barely anything to differentiate her from the other two.

Unlike Anna and Rapunzel, Moana actually has some flaws to her character

Anna was super naive about love and did a terrible job at convincing Elsa to come back. Those are flaws.

>3.0
TRIGGERED

Not really

She didn't get her own magic tattoo at the end.

Tits are too small.

>ITT: frozenfags tearing down a better movie

They're average for a Disney princess

It's pretty much universally accepted at this point that Moana is far superior to Frozen. Not even Elsafags can deny that

The Girl

>Muscular
>Brown
>Ugly Hair
>Underage

The Movie

>Forgettable compared to frozen

This girl on the webm however, got no flaws at all (except the movie itself of course)

Her character arc makes no sense. Her whole conflict in the first part of the movie is having to choose between her personal desires and leading her people. It's why she jumps at the chance to go looking for Maui and why her dad thinks she's just making shit up to go sailing again: because she's totally just in it for the sailing and using helping her people, something she does also want to do, as an excuse.

But then her big climactic character song is just the cliche "believe in yourself" bullshit? Moana fucking always believed in herself. Self doubt was never the problem The story and character would've been better served if it played up her desire for adventure in contrast with actually accomplishing what she set out to do. With being able to admit she had selfish desires along side altruistic ones and managing to make the right choice in spite of that.

This is weak bait user, and you tried so hard, i feel for you

Literally none of those are negatives, and 16 technically isn't underage

>forgettable compared to frozen
>Posts the same edited webm for the 1000th time

The absolute state of Frozen's fanbase on this board

>Find a flaw.
Let's just skip all the BS an go straight to the heart of the matter:
Not white.

>Liking muscular woman

I bet you like males, Homo.

...

>Liking women who aren't twigs is the equivalent of liking men

She isnt sitting on my face right now

...

UGLY

>>Ugly Hair
are you literally insane?

Movie should have been about Maui like they originally planned. There was pretty much nothing compelling about Moana herself and it would have been much more entertaining to see Maui's back story and exploits animated instead of just glossed over in a couple of songs.

>her big climactic character song
which one is that again? the "i am moana" one?

But Moana's at least twice as cute as Maui.

The point was finding a middle ground between desires and responsibilities

Maui had his wish for approval leading to fucking up the entire world, he didn't realize how to protect it

Tefiti or whatever she's called was a benevolent goddess until her heart was stolen and she "forgot" her responsibilities, so she turned into a goddess of destruction

Similar thing with Moana, as Maui says very clearly she risked the life of them both for the sake of proving she could do it, just like how earlier in the movie she almost killed herself and the pig just because "i want to sail so i must be good at it"
The "I am Moana" song is when she realizes she has to try again because it's her duty and not because of her personal ambitions

But admittedly it's not really elegant. It was a mistake to summarize the entire character development in a song

insightful stuff. gonna have to rewatch the movie with this in mind

Not shiny enough.

Literally gay

YOU'LL NEVER BE THIS SHINY

Needed more of a Chel build.

The best character in the movie got a song + 2 minutes of dialogue.

>Implying they would allow that nowadays

Still a flaw.

...

everything about the movie is just meh, there's really nothing that stood out

Just because you don't have the skin of caramel goddesses. KYS.

The visuals and soundtrack are some of the best in terms of modern animated films

But they're never chastised for it and they never realise their flaws. Moana does and tries to be better and learn.

>soundtrack
nah
>visuals
well it's fucking CGI everyone expects those movies to look better every year

>Nah

How? How do you not like the songs in this movie?

Moane herself is a dull rehash of Rapunzel and Anne.

Also tell me if you heard this one:
>Inexperienced but spunky girl that was imprisoned in one place wants to see the world and along the way meets a cynical man who at first is incredibly annoyed of the girl but is won over by her funkiness and reveals his cynicism stems from a bad experience in his past.
Is it?
>Tangled
>Moana
>Frozen
>Zootopia
It's trick question, the answer is they're all basic copies of one another in character development and starting plot.

Good film but Disney is literally just reusing the same plot and characters over and over and it feels incredibly lazy.
