Has a cartoon ever made you so angry to the point that you stopped watching it entierly?

Has a cartoon ever made you so angry to the point that you stopped watching it entierly?

Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. and Avengers Assemble got me so upset that I couldn't even finish a single episode of either.

It happens all the time.
Regular Show, Adventure Time, and The Amazing World of Gumball are recent cartoons that pissed me off after a few seasons.

Not a cartoon but death note did that when they tied up my first serious anime waifu and made her mindbroken. I was innocent back then

...

Adventure Time status-quo'd so many times I eventually ragequit.

Fucking Korra.

Adventure time. It soured me so much that I can't even be bothered to watch the seasons that I found fun without being reminded of what happens.

Steven universe, but that one I can't point out a moment because there's just so much of it.
>Not when L dies like a punk bitch

That hulk show i wouldn't even warrent a view.
As for avengers assemble im glad they canceled it.

The jasper torture pork episodes of SU made me drop it like a rock. But looking back I there are myriads of other reasons I won't go back

SU after season 1.

I'd have ragequitted after Escape From Reality but there was only one episode left to watch so I finished it after all.

>The Amazing World of Gumball
I get the others but really faggot

Planet Sheen. The show had so much potential but it turned out to be complete shit. They should of just made season 4 of Jimmy Neutron.

He dislikes it because of "mean spiritedness"

Not him but i dropped gumball just because. Didn't just fit with me for whatever reason.

I have a sneaking suspicion that it's the guy who got angry about Darwin/Masami

No
I'm not a little bitch.

Korra, she was such a bitch

I grew tired of it because it became repetitive trash like the other two cartoons.

The bullshit Korra Season 1 finale was enough to make me never bother with the rest of the series

>The show had so much potential

Rick and Morty.
Season 1 was tolerable but Season 2 was terrible.
Any interest I could have in picking that up again was killed by the 2nd Interdimensional Cable episode.
I wasn't even angry I was just really tired and annoyed.

Xiaolin Showdown was close at some points, but otherwise not really for a cartoon. Anime on the other hand...

Avengers Assemble got cancelled?

Oh my bad it didnt. I just stopped watching it when i realized thor was depowered to shit.

Fucking evangelion, i know this is anime but holy shit i still mad i watched that kaleidoscope of shit.

AT Red Throne
But I wasn't really angry, I just gave up on it

Korra and Barney.

both had asspulls at the end of the season.

Wander Over Yonder season 2.
I loved the show in general, but I couldn't stand Dominator as a character and the focus on her just pissed me off.

I'll probably pick it back up some day, though

Do you think they would ever make a new series of
Barney that would take place in the same world but like 1000 years later?

I can see why he'd drop it. Sure, the episodes themselves are more creative with their plots and jokes, but at the cost of the characters themselves becoming increasingly more annoying and Flanderized.

Found the pleb.

She rubbed me the wrong way at first, but it's satisfying how her "Better than everyone" attitude crumbles near the end.

I think I was watching a Spongebob episode once and then I suddenly realized it was so stupid and boring that something inside me just revolted and I just couldn't watch it anymore

Also 3rd season of mlp just killed whole series for me.

Fuck off, horsefucker.

It took you that long to get pissed off by Korra?

after watching the "mindful education" episode of steven universe I finally realised that the show was made by mentally unwell depressives and that it was a terrible influence on children. a very legit feeling of anger.

Are you one of those people who STILL can't get over MMC?

Korra after season 1. Just trash all around, still hard to believe that they fucked up THIS badly after something GOAT like The Last Airbender. All of the forced shipping and romance shit reeked of selling out and pandering to the tumblr crowd. The entire series fiasco really highlights the fact that Mark and Bryan are probably hacks that were lucky enough to be carried through by their old co-works and staff during ATLAB's development.

Steven Universe midway into season 2. Lore was great and plot was interesting, but it just wasn't going anywhere while the characters were starting to become unlikable with their petty dama antics in the meantime. Slice of life is boring enough as it is and we have enough comedy cartoons that delve into that genre already. But seeing how far the show has fallen thanks to all of the criticism and threads it gets on Sup Forums right now, I'm glad I dropped it when I did. The shitty tumblrina fanbase it cultured didn't help either.

Regular Show midway into season 2 as well. Just became extremely fucking repetitive. Repetitive jokes, repetitive humor, repetitive plot scenarios, repetitive characterization, etc. The show wasn't going anywhere interesting and probably couldn't go anywhere interesting due to its shallow setting and characters anyway.

Dropped Gravity Falls after season 1 when it became apparent that it was just regressing into typical episodic filler bullshit with Dipper trying to woo Wendy while Mable degenerated into a Flanderized 'lulrandumb' retard. Then I started watching it again around season 3 when I heard that they were doing neat characterization with Stan while actually moving forward with its overarching plotline.

I'm not him, but after all these years, I can finally truly see the catastrophe of it.
I've nothing against Twicorn, purple smart is my fav horse so good for her if her status quo changes somewhat and we see what's it like for her.
The problem is, we don't. She didn't have personal episodes in Season 4 besides two-parters, she had two personal episodes in Season 5, and she had NO personal episodes in Season 6. Nu writers just don't know what to do with her, they can't think of any plot about "boring princess business". Instead, they introduce a completely new character that's supposed to be a surrogate unicorn Twilight and start focusing around her.

It took you THAT long?

>13 episodes
>only 1 good
>almost all songs suck
>no rarity
>2 cmc episodes
>like 3 fucking spike episodes
I just can't. All my hype, all my hope just gone.

Not a cartoon, but I dropped Flash after it was revealed Zoom was Hunter pretending to be Jay

Eh, still Sup Forums-related so it might as well count.

>Oh my bad it didnt
Fuck you got my hopes up.
Man I miss Earth's Mightiest Heroes.

the only time I've quit a show enough to watch very few, if any future episode is the ones where a cartoon drops from a great show to a below average show such as spongebob or boondocks. Although I would return to any "quit" series if the quality improved.

It didn't really change much didn't it? At least episodes like "Trade Ya" and "Princess Spike" had her power acknowledged. There were others that Twilight could have ended the plot instantly if they bothered to address her status.

It's funny they redeemed Starlight after she almost caused the most destruction and actually won in that second 2-parter. I would have rather seen Sunset Shimmer become canon and stop this pointless EqG business.

There was more than 1.

Ultimate Spider-Man, though it was more boredom than anger
I stopped watching it in the middle of S2. The beginning of S2 set up the Sinister Six, but then the SS episode itself was shit. It was a disappointment, but I kept watching, and the last episode I remember being at least slightly good was the Carnage episode. It was followed by a series of boring filler shit such as Spider-Man and Nova having to fight a robot wrecking Peter's house (or something like that?) and I decided not to waste my time on it. I knew there was a Deadpool episode coming but I didn't care at this point, I was never a big fan of him anyway.
Now I've heard that over the course of next seasons the show has become a bit more focused and started having bigger arcs and storylines. Did it help?

you only jump shark once.

this show is hasbro's spongebob/FOP

I have quit every Connie episode half way through, what happened during Mindful Education?

I can think of a few...

Family Guy.
Steven Universe.
Spongebob Squarepants.
Fairly Odd Parents.
And yes even MLP. (I used to be a ponyfag back in 2012-2013)

Cartoons should just end at season 4 or 5 altogether.

choppy spirit quest animation singing a very creepy, infantilizing song about how "It's okay, I'm here" as the foundation of love, basically

it just felt so strongly to me in that moment that it was encouraging children to be weak and dependent. maybe if I went back and watched it I'll see that I was overreacting

Adventure Time.

I wasn't super angry, but I really didn't like the direction it was going in. I stopped half-way into season 5. It's a shame because I really did like the show a lot. I wonder if it ever recovered.

At least the porn is still top-notch.

People will tell you that it did, and though I agree, it's ultimately up to you to check up on the show again.

>Korra S2 E1
>the darkness has been awa-

The Legend of Korra

I think it did recover but I don't think it would have been to the extent that it would be worth your time going back to it.

And the AT porn train has really slowed down in recent years, daymn shame.

wild thornberrys when eliza gave all the families food away

>Every single half-decent Sup Forums youtube personality gets (at least) decent fan art made of them on a regular basis
>Mr. Enter has fan art like this

Fucking kek

I stopped watching AT because I just found it boring and pointless. I tried SU for a few seasons, I think after Lapis showed up. The comedic timing and voiceacting are bad and it's just so weird and uncomfortably queer. Like fusions are there to resemble some kind of sex thing but then they start tricking garnet into doing it with them what the fuck dude. And Steven is such an un-character.

The songs are bad

Pisses me off

I didnt even remember i was mad about that till now.
On another note i got mad at all grown up.

Now a cartoon but Paranatural just got to this point

Christ, that's so bad.

Doesn't the guy who writes that have some kind of raging hateboner for Sup Forums
Doesn't surprise me in the least that he'd do something like that

At some point this show became so unfunny, that it became intolerable for me to even look at.

>Something something shut up meg
>Something something cut away
>Something something pop culture reference.

And no, not parodies. References.

Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends in general. I hadn't seen it since I was a kid, but I tried to go back and watch it now and couldn't stand it. All of the characters were insufferable.

Ah yes, the ending of Kora's first season pissed me off so bad I didn't give a fuck about it's other season's.

He didn't when he started out. I think he was trying to get us to be his majority readership when he started because he would post on here but it's become abundantly clear he's trying to switch his demographic to tumblr/mentally ill.

Oh don't worry, she gets what's coming to her.

>All of the characters were insufferable

I agree, but Cheese, Bloo and FUCKING BENDY in particular made me drop that show like a rock.

Which is a shame because it had such a good premise.

Legend quest where the hero's love interest was being controlled and bitch ghost decided "hey, this bitch is guilty because I don't like her" even though they made up and shit last episode. Then the protag gets all mopey that she betrayed them. I'm sure it gets resolved the same episode, but it pissed me off enough not to finish it.

I stuck with Korra for a while and then they brought in some "Dark Avatar" nonsense and I split.

What, did they employ edgy high school students to write this shit?

Regular Show at season 4 when the ideas started running dry and the romance drama revved to 20

Tried to get back into it after CJ came back, dumped it after the wedding episode

Other than the series finale, I refuse to watch any other episodes. Literally no romance episode or female character was written good at all

Sauce

When Family Guy did that Conway Twitty cutaway. It served no purpose except to pad the run time. It just shows how much Seth hates his audience.

I sort of liked that for showing how pathetic people are nowerdays, that they will literally watch garbage with no effort beamed at them for 10 minutes and laugh because of irony.

I tried to keep up with family guy but ended up just missing the older seasons more when they still felt good yah know?
Whenever the gold seasons are on its still funny. Hell it might just be nostalgia though.

I actually kind of liked the idea of "you fuck ed up Korea now just as there is always an avatar there will always be someone to fight you. This is your fault"
Then instead Korrate turned into a spirit kaiju and shoved him in a tree... k

Korra just auto corrected to Korrate I don't know why

Fuck off, phoneposter.

Korra

I'm still upset about Adventure Time's Frost and Fire

Getting rid of a relationship is one thing

But doing it by ruining a character and making them a piece of shit for no reason really set me off

Korra. I watched Season 1. I did not come back for more and now like to pretend that it never happened.

Korra

I would understand if the ending of season 1 or season 2 turned you off

But Season 1 in general?

Nah

I loved AT when it was released, but then it started getting romance stuff, and i hate stuff like that. This scene was basically where i stopped watching completely

Oh don't get me wrong, the ending was definitely the worst part of Season 1. But everything leading up to it certainly didn't help.

I just wanted an on screen aang death

I just lost interest. The plots didn't grab me as much and I'm not in a hurry to see what's going to happen. I usually spend months without watching episodes. Same with SU. The only cartoons that get me to watch their episodes on the day they air are SvtFOE, Samurai Jack and MLP although that last one is out of a special connection and not because I find the show that great anymore.

>I sort of liked that for showing how pathetic people are nowerdays, that they will literally watch garbage with no effort beamed at them for 10 minutes and laugh because of irony.
good thing we're above that, right?
*continues to browse Sup Forums*

You got it.
Too bad he was resurrected two minutes later, huh?

...

I was that way with Ultimate Spider-Man.

Nice

Steven Universe did this for me.
But I went back to it.

I think I got so angry at the ending for Sonic SatAM that I forgot the whole show out of anger.

Earths mightiest heroes is miles ahead of avengers assemble

Yes, Ultimate Spider-Man. I was expecting a neat Ultimate Spider-Man adaption or at least something on par with Spectacular Spider-Man and this is what I got, so I dropped it like the hot garbage it is.
