My fiancee didn't want me to have one so I respectfully fulfilled her wishes. Me and a few of my mates had a board game night which was close enough to me.
That is a huge red flag. Your fiancee doesn't see you as an equal in the relationship and that is crucial in a healthy marriage. She can't be on a carnival cruise with her gal pals while you are having a board game night. I'm guessing money was too tight to do two equal parties plus a wedding and a honeymoon in which case she shouldn't have gone on a cruise.
