This is true. People infer information at different rates and there'll always be someone who catches on, the question is how quickly and how many.
I still say though that you would have had time for everything if you cut the cringeworthy cantina dudes cameo.

he better stay fucking evil
Ian Adams
I disagree on both counts. The odd thing is that people always talk about movies like a science, but I found Jyn and Cassian's dynamic to be very rewarding, and I think that it more depends on how in tune a certain viewer is to certain actors.
I think that the human element of movies is almost entirely subjective and hinges on the personality and experiences/psyche/mindset/opinions about life of the person watching it.
Nathan Jackson
The only thing dumber is the shit-tier opinions RLM hold about star wars
Blake Gray
Reply is already above you dude.

I'm not quite comfortable about how that lady looks at that little rodian boy.

Calm the fuck down dude. Stop being such an autistic shitposter about RLM, for fuck's sake. Go outside or something.
Levi Bell
He better get a nastier scar too, that shit looks pathetic, like he got attacked by Hux's cat or something
Ryan King
What? we're talking about Vader and starkiller base and nothing else. you can like the prequels while still thinking vader being most important person 2001 is retarded
Nolan Campbell
I disagree. >conceived by the midchlorians Is a cool thing to think about.
Plus the fact the ROTS implies that Palp made him.

Mas Amedda and Jar Jar Binks drowning their sorrows in a bar.

In all honesty the cinematography of TLJ is looking pretty kino.

They can't make him too ugly.
They wouldn't be able sell Reylo to normies if he looked like he got mangled by a bear.
Alexander Ross
Why did Anakin never question his lack of a father?
Charles Russell
they'll fix the scar post production r-right?
Zachary Morales
Here's a better idea:
Tarkin, Mas Amedda, Vader, Jar Jar, Thrawn, and Palpatine all sitting at a booth in a fancy restaurant with Krennic stuck outside banging on the window.

Why do people think his scar is different? The part in between his eyes is thin in TFA so it makes sense that it's thin in that shot.
Sebastian Sanchez
they fixed the ducktroopers so I'm sure they fixed anything too retarded
Hudson Thompson
From the drawthread
Do you think Boba ever has sexual thoughts about Kamino girls?
Oliver Rodriguez
Possibly, they fixed Vader's helmet in post for R1
Austin Phillips
Rey is not going to have a love interest. It's tradition for the main character of a Star Wars trilogy to not have a love interest while the other two of the trio get together.
Noah Powell
You can scar someone badly without making them look ugly you know, look at Tyrion Lannister from GoT. Dude got his face damn near cut in face and he still got a dashing rogue scar out of it The only way they could be related is if the OT characters are retroactively made the shittiest parents who have ever lived Is that how important your oh so precious Skywalker blood is to you? Is it worth throwing Luke under the bus purely so you can feel that Rey is somehow worthy of being a hero thanks to who her parents are? I thought you people didn't like the idea of Rey being made special at other people's expense

I hope Palpatine floats again in BF2. His shuffle-run looked so terrible.

Indeed. Pod Race game was the best thing to come out of the Prequels. Really wish we'd have that in Battlefront.
Brandon Moore
>Finn in what looks like a dressing gown Man, it would be a bit too "Cloud City" but I would bust a rib laughing if Finn wakes up from a night out on the casino planet with Rose only to find Phasma sitting in his hotel room politely waiting for him so she can capture him awake The scar from TFA goes around his eyesocket, the scar in that shot cuts straight up over his eye, you can even see the pupil looks oddly bisected I'm starting to think that shot is actually part of a flashback to the Temple, and that scar was something he got there and had healed. When it happened again he decides to keep a reminder to keep his guard up
Sebastian Torres

Brayden Miller
That's fine but Pod racing was slick for LAN play.
Jaxon Cooper
I hope we can't even play as Palpatine in BF2. Seeing him run around a battle always looks stupid as fuck and takes me out of the moment because he's not openly a Sith and commands an entire Empire that can fight for him so why would he personally fight in a battle?
Angel Phillips
Do we know what Jar Jar did 19 BBY and pre 4 ABY? I know the interlude of him on Naboo but I mean during Sheev's reign

>>“We’ve heard a lot about the heroes of the Rebellion,” Thompson said during a press briefing, “and we wanted to give the Empire heroes in that same era.” That meant creating a character that would have grown up in a place where the ideology of the Empire was not only acceptable, but appealing. In the game, players visit Iden’s own home world, which Thompson described as “an Imperial utopia,” where someone could grow up believing that Darth Vader and the Emperor were only focused on strength and order, “and would see the Rebels as a terrorist organization.”
Would you want to live in an Imperial utopia? I know I would.
Jason Cox
Not gonna lie, I agree with you.
I'm hoping for an Inquisitor to replace him
Tyler Flores
Dunno I hope she's coming straight from the garbage pit a smelly shining trash beast out for vengeance.
Logan Thomas
Doesn't Aftermath imply he got thrown out of the Senate after Palpatine seized power, then was allowed to just be a street performing clown somewhere (I think it was Naboo) because no adults talked to him because of his connection to Palpatine seizing power and all the kids just laughed at him playing the fool? It was honestly kind of a sad end for Jar Jar
Ethan Phillips
Fucking up bitches with lightning is one of the best parts of Battlefront though. I do get the argument for not having unsuitable characters though. There's no justification for Han, Leia, Lando or Nien Nunb being any more effective than the average soldier.
Gabriel Johnson
What are the troopers doing?
Luke Reyes
If you are american or european you already do user
Jacob Reed
I have a hard time believing hed get thrown out. He is the definition of a useful idiot, so I feel like Sheev would want him as Senator of Naboo. Maybe after the dissolution of the Senate he would become a street performer
Wyatt Sanders
Well, I mean, if the keyword here is Utopia then sure, sounds awesome But seriously, if that is the world we saw from the trailers with all the red banners and awesome looking stone Brutalist architecture with AT-AT's stomping by? Then hell yes I'd like to at least visit, I love those kinds of planned cities, they're always interesting to see
Nicholas Howard
That was in Empire's End.
It's not made clear exactly when he left politics, but sometime after ROTJ, he was living as a humble street performer.
Justin Hernandez
Taking STICC to a whole new level. How can other STICCfus even compete?
Landon Powell
>the Phasma comic starts with her emerging from a trash pile and delicately peeling the skin of a space banana off her helmet >swears bloody vengeance on Han and Finn, and is mildly annoyed to learn that Kylo already killed Han

What did they fix specifically?
Sebastian Lee
this sounds like a good end for him, one of the most (still living) historic people in the star wars universe left forgotten.
Brandon Harris
You're probably right, got my chronology wrong. Thanks to for reminding me

Please do a Podracing Anthology Movie
Brody Foster
is the drawfag of these in this thread or is it from somewhere else
Nolan Brown
>Doesn't Aftermath imply he got thrown out of the Senate after Palpatine seized power, Uhhh, no? Who gave you that idea?
We're only told that after the Battle of Endor Jar Jar was exiled by his people again for aiding in the rise of the Empire and that he was reduced to being a street performer for kids in Theed. No adults talk to him.
Charles Phillips
>the wook has access to the based art book >they will never share Fuck 'em all to be honest.

I'm not sure, Rey is a little too light skinned to be the daughter of Rae Sloane Although now I say that I'm thinking it would be neat if Finn was Sloane's son she put into the stormtrooper programme to prevent accusations of favouritism
Carter Barnes
I'd love a Vader with red lenses.

Anakin in PT?

I would KILL for a reference book based around Uprising. It's such a cool concept and had a ton of awesome ideas for a game that was only playable for a year.
Is there any chance of them actually doing this? I hate seeing great content go to waste
Ryder Turner
>It's tradition for the main character of a Star Wars trilogy to not have a love interest while the other two of the trio get together. >it's a tradition >exists in one of the two trilogies Shit tradition, desu senpai
Alexander Ross
Yes, but a good number of them were utter shite, retarded, or poorly written. Some were all three.
Samuel Martin
I know some people will interpret it as sweeping the prequel stuff under the rug but I actually really like how some a lot of the Prequels' legacy is being handled in the ST. Jar Jar winding up a a street clown is a great, thematically appropriate end for him as a character, and it's a big galaxy out there, some of the shit falls through the cracks. It's like seeing a lot of Anakin's flaws showing up again in Kylo, it not overtly spotlighted but you can tell that it's there, the legacy of the Prequels is there in a subtle way. It's such a more respectful way of doing things than LOOK! IT'S THE MILLENIUM FALCON!
Robert White
Did anyone ever compile a video of the whole story mode? Or a script maybe?
I didn't finish it and I'd like to see the last couple levels.
Jeremiah Morales
Obi-Wan was the protagonist of the prequels.
Logan Garcia
The events of Uprising were nodded to in Shattered Empire and Aftermath, so it is immortalized in the Star Wars canon universe forever.
They never let anything be forgotten, so I would bet that we'll get more from that story eventually.
But a specific reference book for the game? I'm not so sure.
Someone said they were going to last year, but I think they gave up. Not that I can blame them, it would be quite a lot of effort editing dozens of videos together like that
Connor Bailey
and he got a love interest who died, just like anakin
