Superman is based on immigration

Superman is based on immigration.
Wonder Woman is based on feminism.

What social issue is Batman based on?

Crime and its victims.

Broken home
All aloooooooooooooone

>Wonder Woman is based on feminism.
originally she was a sex fantasy character like she-hulk

Selling toys.

The wage gap

>Superman lost his parents and adopted parents
>Batman lost his parents
>Wonder Woman lost her mother

The responsibilities of being a rich, white, straight, male.

unrelenting, uncompromising pacifism

He's jewish though, that makes up for it.

>pacifist
>breaks peoples bones

Unironically these. He's what happens to an orphan who gets money but no therapy.

Both you and OP are right. Wondy was designed as a bisexual S&M Domme, which is definitely a sex fantasy but at the time of her creation was also a cutting-edge form of female empowerment.

Class warfare.

No he's not. If he was Jewish, he wouldn't care about protecting people and never dawned the cowl in the first place.

Social inequality

Mental illness

The social issue of people getting murdered is... bad? What kind of retarded question is this?

libertarianism.

Autism

Gay marriage.

Capitalism

Homoeroticism.

Justice

No parents

if you actually read into what Marston and his lovers intended for wonder woman, it wasnt just female empowerment, it was also heavily based on love through submission. The idea that you should submit yourself, 100%, to someone that truly loves you to help better yourself. Trusting them to the fullest extent that they want what is best for your.
Superman isnt really immigration so much as he is fits the natural messiah/prophetic archtype which always features immigration. There are basic elements of the moses/jesus stories that Superman share. For example Superman is both sent to earth from above by a knowing father like jesus, but also sent by a caring mother from a home on the brink of destruction in a little craddle like structure like moses. He is adopted by the locals like moses and stands up against Lex who can be drawn to be like the romans and pharoh. Superman falls in love with a woman from the local populace, like moses, and ultimately "leads" them to a better place (genesis of superheroes, "they will stumble" speech from All Star Superman/MoS)
Batman is taking your pain, something that should overwhelm you, and using it for something good. For example, money corrupts almost everyone in Gotham but Bruce, because he uses for charity and the general good. Similarly Bruce's unhealthy, obsessive war on the very idea of crime, born from the death of his parents, mirrors the obsessions any of his famous villains have (Ivy with her plants, Mad Hatter with Alice in wonderland, Riddler with riddles, etc.) except that he doesnt let himself become consumed by it like the villains do, he turns it into something constructive. You can see these theme highlighted in lots of "End of" type stories where the villains are always being shown as having, or had, their obsessions transformed into something more constructive/healthy only to relapse back into their villainous selves.

Elizabeth was not Jewish.

Batman is about the societal need to allow the extremely wealthy to physically assault the poor and the mentally ill

Affluenza

I can't seem to fight these feelings
I'm caught in the middle of this
My wounds are not healing
I'm stuck in between my parents
I wish I had someone to talk to
Someone I could confide in
I just want to know the truth
I just want to know the truth
Want to know the truth

Donned

Besides his origin how the fuck has superman ever been based on immigration?

Bronze age

And even the rest of pre crisis, though Bronze age was where he was depicted as lonely and longing for Krypton.

Well, he takes it off at dawn. He's a night-time hero.

Gentrification

Rich, entitled, emo millenials acting like they're the victim and the world owes them something.

Bats

For the last time, Superman is NOT A FUCKING IMMIGRANT.

Superman is based on the human ideal, the best of us. Wonder Woman is, if anything, the immigrant. Batman is based on the inherent need of the common man for moral satisfaction.

will comblr please leave.

White Guilt

>A planet he couldn't remember that he was on for less than a year before it blew up.

Superman was adopted by American citizens, raised from the age of at most 1 in the US. He's as American as possible short of being born on US soil, which he was post crisis until Johns restored his Donner origin.

Byrne had Jor and Lara send him in his BIRTHING matrix. Thus he was 'born' on American soil. This was a nice touch. I've always thought an advanced society would want to get around the pain and uncertainty of biological incubation.

>I don't read comics, but I'll shit post anyway.
