Comic was trapped by same thing what other Nazi superwepon/solder/magic stories have in end. Making Nazis super evil and unstoppable no matter what odds and not suffering any real losses to have of this story.

The set up they had made it so the nazi's had to win at every stage or they'd get blown the fuck out and that'd end the story, so having them win all the time got boring

And if its war book it should not follow cape comic logic where bad guys get easier R&D and logistics because they are badguys (especially if they are nazis) but had it portrayed realistically.

They had one actual victory that didn't matter since the sub invasion was a succes.
They let a battleship tear London apart, kill Churchill, then when she was exhausted let her leave without a scratch.
Then it was burnt to the ground.
The redhead mary Sue is the only exception. The fact that she isn't battleship potential is amazing.

Compare the place given to britain in the comic and the forces in presence in april 1945. I know Gillen is british and he writes what he knows, but still, that is ww2 at its simplest expression.
