Start off as an arrogant asshole

>Start off as an arrogant asshole
>Sees the error of his ways, runs after Jack begging to learn more
>Turns out he never achieved his dream of becoming a true samurai
>lol he became a bartender instead
This was the only part of the episode I didn't like.

he could have become one and just retired, its been 50 years at least, man could be anywhere between 70 and 90 years old i think at that point you put the blade away and settle down.

Really? You liked the lol penis XD joke? The hamfisted Demongo appearance? The unsatisfying conclusion of the horseman?

he'll become a samurai for the obligitory "they all team-up to fight aku" fight at the end of the seires.

>lol penis XD joke
You're a fag

>hamfisted Demongo appearance
You're a fag

>unsatisfying conclusion of the horseman
True

>The unsatisfying conclusion of the horseman?
It was never supposed to be a big fight.

So you are saying it is bad for a character to see the error in his ways, but still stays true enough to himself to not change his entire personality in favor of his hero figure?

>I TOLD YA GURL, I HUNG UP MY SWORD YEARS AGO
>BAMBOO STICKS THOUGH...

>He liked the rave scene

You already made this thread.

ITT proof Sup Forums can't handle a transitional episode

I didn't find the hroseman's conclusion unsatisfying. Jack overcame his depression and doubt and thus that spirit posed no threat. He was a looming shadow reminding Jack of his failures and urging him to restore his honor, once Jack decides his resolve is not lost it shouldn't pose any threat.

I don't really understand why people expected a big fight out of that.

He was likely just not skilled enough to become one, it's not really surprising that some of the people Jack met couldn't achieve their dreams.

He seems like he's lived a relatively happy life though, considering the circumstances.

Eh, it's fine. Realistic, even. Not everyone is cut out for everything, even if they wish/train hard at it.

Did someone say penis?

He still has the guts to shit talk all the bounty hunters. I wonder how he would have farewell aginst them when he was young.

I would have liked to see him as a warrior, but the lesson that they went for is that he decided to let his pride aside and became a more humble and better person. It is a valid lesson.

Also, KEEP IN MIND that he is probably going to show up in the army against Aku in the end anyway, along with all the other characters that showed up.

Only thing that made me kind of mad is that we will never see Demongo again, and it left me with questions like: How he survived? For who he is fighting for?

Seriously, shoving Demongo as an antagonist at any place of these episodes could have been really fucking fun.

>Really? You liked the lol penis XD joke?
>The hamfisted Demongo appearance?
Both of those were fine you faggot.
>The unsatisfying conclusion of the horseman?
>NOT MUH BIG FIGHT SCENE!

Hits too close to home, doesn't it!

>he didn't like it

After telling the story of the original episode he was featured in, he says "shortly thereafter I hung up my blade." I guess from his perspective 50 years later "shortly thereafter" could range anywhere from a couple days to a couple years, but it pretty much confirms he definitely didn't have a long career as a swordsman after that. He hadn't just retired because he was old.

>He liked it
The music was shit
It was too short
It was out of place

>Music starts
>Aku enslaved part happens
>Goes on in that style for 1-2 minutes giving a up beat catchy techno dance number summary of some of Jacks greatest feats
But no. More god awful robot making le wacky noises and benis

just like real-life weebs!

this tbhfam

This whole episode felt like filler.

Which is bad considering that there's only going to be 10, right?

>this guy is here

>tfw you are only one that likes the musuc scene.

welcome to life, bitch.

Would you rather have him "fake it until he makes it?

nah I liked it too, loved it even desu

I liked the visuals, prettiest part of the episode.
But seriously, i fucking hate musical scenes

It wouldn't surprise me if Demongo shows up again. Especially if traumatizing either jack or Ashi with formerly dead comrades is in order.

Does anyone have the mega? Madrista's link on his blog is kill.

You actually liked the song and the crappy samurai ghost?

Was no one else phased by Ashi half of the places Jack went to in his travels in less than a day? What, is the landmass fucking tiny and Jack just took his sweet time to walk though it?

Being bartender in Aku's world isn't disappointing. He can pretty much go on adventures, straight up murder unruly patrons and beat them up without getting sued.

Gee whiz mister, thanks!

It was a good tune, but there really wasn't much to it.

I kind of hope there's a full version of it, recapping the rave episode in-depth or better yet just praising how based Jack is.

Get a job, nerds
