Can someone explain this to me I don't get it.

When you "transition" from boy to girl, the process really involves mutilating your dick, turning it inside out to create a facsimile of a vagina. But since Jazz had been put on hormone blockers to stop puberty from occurring, he's left with an incredibly tiny penis, which is too small to really do the procedure with.

David Foster Wallace once wrote a piece about David Lynch. In the piece, he coined a new term: "Lynchian". Wallace described a Lynchian tone as "the unbelievably grotesque existing in a kind of union with the unbelievably banal."

He described a husband beating his 1950s housewife to death because she bought the wrong brand of peanut butter. "I told you to buy the JIF," he'd say as he's clobbering her to death. This, he said, would qualify as almost perfectly Lynchian.

I think "I Am Jazz" enters into Lynchian territory. The .webm above shows a simple domestic scene. The women look like average suburban moms. They're relaxing on the couch. One imagines they might be discussing casserole recipes when we cut to them. But it slowly dawns on us that in the living room, with placid expressions on their faces, they're talking about the woman's transvestite son's genitals.

Despite the obvious subtext and the producers' hope to normalize this horror, the average person is totally disgusted. Nevertheless, the viewer is fascinated. We're drawn further into this. The sheer naked horror of what they're saying, the blase quality with which they're saying it, it creates this brutal paradox that almost rapes the viewer's basic sense of what is decent.

I don't know if this is pasta, but I think you're right on.

Interesting. This isn't pasta, but it's so long and written in such a way that it honestly seems like a pasta already.

looks fine to me

This post should be saved.
Somebody save this, I don't know how

Really, just look at trans porn demographics and its obvious even people who are into trannies prefer them retaining their penis. I feel like the "post-op" thing is a meme started by traditionally straight people to try to relate to tranny lovers but in reality it makes no sense to do. This is a terrible thing that they are pressuring Jazz into.

Also, hairballs. Do not forget about the hairballs.

Get me in the cap user

...

No, it's a ""meme"" started by trans people who actually want to fully live as the gender they're transitioning to

Hairballs? Only cats puke up hairballs.

How do i write pasta this good?

Cats and tranny """""vaginas""""".

The concept of transitioning even from the liberal third-wave lens of gender non-conformity doesn't make sense to me. They're constantly touting that gender doesn't equal biological sex and that people should be able to "express" their gender however they choose, but even they must concede it comes perverse when the concept of self-mutilation gets involved. If I met a girl who said dressed and identified as a guy I'd think "yeah, maybe growing up she played with toy soldiers or her mother wanted her to strive for a position of power and she saw that in manhood, I can see the psychological pathos" but with actually surgery it just feels like indoctrination, there's no logical reason why someone who ever think "the set of genitalia I have that very few people will ever see that biologically gives me pleasure who be better morphed into a set of genitalia that I may not know will even function therefore robbing me of even basic sexual gratification".

A "trap" is called such because when a man successfully passes as a woman they can act and be perceived in society as a woman without that fact being brought into question. As gender is supposedly a construct of society and our perception in society is entirely based on outward appearance a sex change operation would change one of very few things the public can actually see, so short of you announcing that you have a certain sex of genitals it wont change whether you can "fully live" as a gender.

But "I Am Jazz" is quintessentially lovecraftian

What is this physique called?

"Lynchian" doesn't describe anything new. Humans have always been fascinated by the unusual. You just regurgitated what's been thought for many years but applied it to "current events". Congrats?
