Anyone else cried as well at the end of Call Me By Your Name? I think I haven't had such a strong emotional response from watching a film for a long time. Last time it was Threads.

isn't that movie gay?

does he get bumraped?

>watching faggot movies

kill yourself user. sage

Did you even listen to his dads monologue?

reported for shilling degeneracy

That's the part I failed to hold back my emotions. Things just flooded out.

It's so true as well, the monologue. We dig ourselves into layers of defensive mechanisms after each failed relationship, that sooner or later we become incapable of feeling all because we fear to feel again.

>mfw all the sex scenes from Blue Is The Warmest Color But For Gay Men are already on Pornhub

Fucking heartbreaking but at least they got to experience that real level of love, most people probably dont even come close to something like that.

>That's the part I failed to hold back my emotions. Things just flooded out.
same here

>unironically watching faggot shit

It's still tragic as fuck though. Is it better to never have experience it, or to have something sublime and then, having that knowledge, never to taste it again?

>jewshit

Fuck off

>da joos
Can we have a proper discussions about this film for once without the easy shitposts please?

never been a fan of romantic stuff, this is the first time a love story gave me strong emotions

Not to mentions the beauty of the background setting and the beautiful soundtrack.

FOR THE LOVE, FOR LAUGHTER I FLEW UP TO YOUR ARMS

That final scene was pure acting craft.
It's insane.

*fucks your son in the ass*

I couldn’t understand one of the last things Elio said on the phone at the end and it made me upset.

Also I was surprised how gorgeous the movie was shit. It looked good from the trailers but it still surprised me.
Also I didn’t cry because I’m hateful so I was more just filled with resent desu.

bruh in the book, elio was actively trying to seduce him and being a giant slut until oliver gave in. elio instigated the whole relationship

But it's still Oliver that did the first physical contact, both in film and book. Not that it matters to me.

> implying you could resist top tier boipussy if offered it repeatedly

Being faggots is unironically really difficult relationship wise
I was talking to a detective once and he told me a story about this married dude that got stabbed like 10+ times in the face
He said he knew it had to be a gay lover, women rarely get that messed up over a relationship
Turns out he'd been cheating on his wife with two men and one found out about the other

I cried at the end of Coco and the Florida Project, and I haven't cried at the movies since 50/50 but that might be because I recently quit taking antidepressants and I can't control my emotions as well as I'd like yet.

Did they actually have anal sex? I thought it's just mutual wanking and sucking.

What exactly did you not understand?

why wouldn't they?

Because of that whole peach scene.
It's clear from that that (by then at least) Elio is lusting over Oliver's asshole and wishing to have it (but haven't still).

I wanted to see this movie but decided not to.
I understand this movie as about a kind of choice made by bisexuals.
Sometimes some bisexual people live in a supporting environment which allows them to live as gay and become really passionate (some might call it "true love"). But they choose the normal life. They date girls and marry their friends and have kids.
That's why I choose not to see the movie.

to me the peach scene was just a cheeky demonstration on how intense Elio's desire and adolescent hormones are, craving for sexuality all the time, but I haven't read the book, it seems to explain better the point of the scene.

the movie implies that they have anal sex, but with Oliver as the top, since when they wake up the morning after, Oliver is seen lying on top.

I cried too.

you’re missing out on a lot of things if you let shitty political decisions inform what you watch, listen to

Oliver wipes cum off his chest, most likely Elio’s implying E shot it while getting fucked

lol true, I had forgotten about it, that was hot

This movie looks great, I'm waiting for it to be on the internet since it probably won't appear in my country's theaters
I broke into tears at the end when Coco started singing. Anything about senility and being forgotten just devastates me.

I am not talking about politics.

whatever. why not see the movie and make up you’re own mind about it instead of only being informed by outside takes? also consider the time period it takes place in: 1983. the characters do not hold current ideas about being gay/bi/etc because it’s not modern day.

They were just young & horny ffs. That's mostly sex haze.
Also:

Retard. Homosexuality was a well known concept in 1983. Have you forgotten about WW2 and homosexuals being prosecuted? Homosexuality was also legalised in 1800 in europe.

>Homosexuality was also delegalised* in 1800 in europe

fixed it for you.

yes
