That looks so fucking dumb
The guards at the end of the corridor would have easily shot him by the first 10 seconds of the scene
Heat
Heat, Way of the Gun, Miami Vice
Michael Mann is the man.
Other one in a dark room was very cool tho
Predator, on the contact scene. Your testosterone levels rise with the reload part alone

Wrong, gun kata bitch.
Not that stupid shit, that's for sure.
This movie is the definition of style over substance but I still like it. It's like dancing but with guns.
>cant understand gun kata
upgrade to webm my mann
>tfw you thought gun kata was kino when you were a kid
>now you realize it's fucking stupid
>He was 27 when he filmed that scene
I really got lucked out in the gene pool department ;_;
"Gun Kata" was a pretty awesome idea, too bad the movie didn't really have the budget to bring it to life in a slightly more realistic way. The gun/melee fight between Bale and the 'Big Brother' was pretty cool though.
i love this scene
holy shit that arm, totally sold on this
Here
LA Confidential
kek, people drop like a dead fish after the first bullet
underated as fuck movie
Gun kata is the stupidest thing ever because it is extremely unrealistic. A firearm shoots on distance, so if people get close up to punching distance one step back gives a way out to aim and shoot, and that even is not necessary since point blank shooting is also a thing.
It's movie gimmicky that fits on super speedy characters that react faster than trained normal humans but that's it.
it is an extraordinarily autistic concept. the matrix's bullet dodging on the other hand is super-intuitive and looks fantastic
...
>it is an extraordinarily autistic concept.
And now you know why people here will defend it.
>unrealistic
save your realism for documentaries dumbo
The shootouts in 3000 Miles to Graceland are fucking great
...
They're LITERALLY immortal cop zombies.
whats the name of the mobie
Anyone who doesn’t answer HEAT is a fucking retard.
People keep posting this scene but the movie was rather dull as a whole. Nothing like Collateral for example. No interesting characters, nothing. I don't think Mann ever got back on track after this movie.
Way of the Gun
...
>Collateral
Never understood the love for that. I prefer Miami Vice, by a mile. I think it's a great film.
...
The Steel Ball Run anime, whenever it comes out.
John Wick has awesome scenes, plus Keanuu trained hard for the role, like Arnold when he did Terminator and was praised by gun magazines on his performance wielding them.

The Wild Bunch you gaggle of fucking plebs
For you maybe baby
...
sort of underrated because it's not really an action movie, but the shootout at the end of 'kiss kiss bang bang' has really clever choreography
youtube.com
I fucking love this movie so much.
>The Wild Bunch
yeah, people saying Way of the Gun should watch it
Way of the Gun has better choreography.
>thought gun kata was cool as a kid
>grew up a bit and started thinking it was dumb
>as I reach my prime I finally realize it really IS awesome

Not the best but still cool.

Kek
The hospital scene specifically. I love the villain with the long hair and the m203
ha that goes to keanu for making gun kata not look like stupid anime bullshit...even if it is kinda cool.
How does firing a gun next to a horses ear not scare it but firing several feet away and into the sky does?
This and shooting the fat chinaman in the head twice ruined the movie for me
John Wick suffers the same problem as the Raid franchise
The first one is over-the-top but believable and then the second one just becomes a fucking cartoon
Best answer, best vid I could find under 4mb
Red Circle scene in Wick. The Good, the Bad, the Weird.
>when they stated dropping babbles form the second flor to save them
chink moves dont pussy out on violence
I don't know if I would call it the best, but this scene from Fargo is pretty fantastic just for how much of it is off screen and yet completely explicit.

So there's where Brendanaquitz went off to.
I fucking hated this film when I went to see it in the cinema.
Watched it back a few months ago and it's actually a lot better than I thought it was.
The action scenes are OTT and ridiculous but it's a sci-fi movie so I get it.
How the fuck has nobody posted The Matrix lobby scene yet?
Club scene in Collateral is up there too, and the ones in Blackhat were good too. Mann is shootout king.
Because most movies posted already have been better.
In this timeline the Matrix was more of a cult hit
he looks boring there too
You just like it cause the guy's ass jiggles you fag.
the 100s of guys charging at him pointblank gets tiring
Nah, it was a mainstream hit, it just came out like 19 years ago lmao. IT was the same as the Avengers movies in appeal essentially, very flavor of the month.
>American psycho 2: Return of the videotapes
>Miami Vice is dull with dull characters
It's not a traditional take on film narrative/characters. Watch it again with a more open mind.
Some of the sequences and musical accompaniments are literally as good as film gets. It's an underappreciated masterpiece.
I actually agree. I really like the first one but I couldn't get as into the second. I liked it still and some parts were pretty great like the shotgun/shootout scene in the tunnels but the shit with every single person in NYC being an assassin really just made me laugh.
what movie is this?
