...

Fucking Doug.

Hank Hill is correct.

Duckman was't the GOAT but it was definitely a fun solid show.

The episode "The Once and Future Duck" is one of the best episodes of any animated series.
>Past Duckman: I'm about to marry my fiancee and I gotta know. Do we have a happy marriage? Do we grow old together?
>Present Duckman: *thinks for a moment about how his wife died* You're going to love her until the day you die.

Explain why, if you're going to make a claim which most won't agree with.

>Venture Bros
>Aqua Teen Hunger Force
>Just about any [as] show not Xavier
>Dexter's Lab
>Beavis and Butthead
>Villianos
>Loud House
>Rocko's Modern Life
>Ren and Stimpy
>South Park
>American Dad

It insists upon itself.

now this is just bait

Venture Bros is the best animated series of all time

Pretty much any early 90s nicktoon

I hate that guy.

The Critic

It's decent but loaded down with a lot of terrible, lazy jokes about how fat and gross Jay is. I also feel like they didn't go deep enough into parodying TV/film show-business or NYC life. I've always considered this the definition of a mediocre cartoon.

I think the Simpsons cross-over episode was funnier than any actual episode of The Critic.

Adventure Time post Season 4

>Maybe I don't need to know any more than that.

;_;

>likes Xavier
>thinks his opinions matter

Xavier is a surrealist masterpiece of gold and silver and copper coins that you can use to buy yourself some good taste.

I just really liked the part where the future Duckmen were from only a few seconds ahead in time. Not everything has to be so deep for it to be good. Trying to find something meaningful in Duckman is like trying to do the same with Rick and Morty.

>I also feel like they didn't go deep enough into parodying TV/film show-business or NYC life

That was the only time when the show really shined imo. I've always hated the "family life" or "Jay goes on a stupid adventure" episodes.

Animation's still cool though

Pfft. Only the '90s X-Men and Spider-Man shows recycled animation more than The Critic.

Don't you dare make that comparison. Rick and Morty is a "ha ha, fuck everyone, there is no god, life is meaningless" whereas Duckman's crudeness stems from having lost the only loving force in his life that quelled his horny and immature heart. And unlike Rick, Duckman never tries to cover it up or cuss his way out of talking about it or flat out lying about his past. Duckman is a goddamn saint compared to Rick and Morty's morbidity.

I'm not saying Duckman is as shitty of a person as Rick, but don't try to pretend like there's any real heartwarming moments that mean anything.

>don't try to pretend like there's any real heartwarming moments that mean anything

youtu.be/jYQ1qZJxme0?t=18m31s

>figuratively gets on a soap box

yeah real deep

I've seen it. I already knew what scene you were talking about. Same shit as when Rick and Morty tries to have feels scenes.

Xavier is consistently great, right up until the very end. Trust Sup Forumsmblr to have shite taste.

...

Das gud bate

what makes a heartwarming moment "mean something" then?

not that user

Not being forced for one.

and what makes it forced?

Are you incapable of detecting of such flaws?

That's impossible, no one out there actually likes Doug.

You must be incapable of explaining what makes some aspect of a work "forced".

I guess you're not going to actually make an argument

That doesn't mean no one claims it's good.

I'm pretty sure no one liking the show means exactly that.

Yeah okay

Surely people wouldn't pretend to like a lame cartoon like Doug just to appear cool, right?

>not watching doug ironically
Stay plebeian.

Don't blame us for your lack of taste, user, we didn't take it away from you and give it away to a mime who knew it was better to look like a fool and shut his mouth than to open his mouth and sound like one too three times a ladykiller.

fucking quints

OP showing his faggotry right out the gate there. Duckman is great, though the last season was a bit weak.

Duckman to me was the most pure essence of what Klasky Csupo really was at the heart of it.

t. contrarian

Kim Possible

Teen Titans. It has some really goddamn high points, but so much of the show is bordering on unwatchabley bad.

>>Just about any [as] show not Xavier
>not watching the second best pleb filter on [as]

not bad

And here he is, the big loser on campus.

Better a big loser with a big campus than a small winner with a small weiner.

I've mastered more bait than this post will ever have, and that's a lot of masturbated posts.

I just hate the years 1988 to 2001 in general.

Hate the general, not the years, because the general is the one who sends you off to waste the years.

>Ctrl F
>No Dan vs.

Yeah let's keep it that way

>s7 and 8
>Not good
While I do admit that s6 is shit, the new episodes are better

Everything from that time frame is just generic and shit. Music people usually enjoy like Alice In Chains or Smashing Pumpkins are utter shit to me. Grand Theft Auto 3 is a shit game. Friends and Titanic are awful.

(you)

Friends don't let friends smash pumpkins; that leads to bigger crimes like truancy and smoking.

I don't get why everyone's calling this post bait?

We're calling it bait because it doesn't respond to anything else we call it, I figure it's got the brain damage from that time we deprived it of oxygen for a year straight so we could turn it gay.

Apparently my opinions are bait. I know Sup Forums has rose-tinted glasses on, but Jesus.

I prefer emerald-tinted glasses because going green is all the rage these days.

Sure, it was more miss than hit, but it had it's moments:

Because it seems that you hate cartoons that people praise for being timeless. It's just seems weird.

But anyway, what cartoons do you look.

>Alice In Chains
nigga did you listen to Jar of Flies? One of the best alternative rock albums of all time.

*like

Steven Universe, Teen Titans, and Samurai Jack.

So you like the anime, but what about the aniyou?

So in other words, you only like action cartoons.

>schmaltzy piano strain
Eh....user....

Not exactly. I like movies like Inside Out too.

Don't strain too hard in finding something better, you might pull a muscle and end up pushing a joint.

I can't believe there are people who liked or even REMEMBERED Kids Next Door

>decries schmaltz
>while posting the picture of someone who lists schmaltz as one of her greatest weaknesses

Okay, buddy.

I used to watch Duckman because I thought it was edgy. I was like 13 or something.

I can't believe there are people who liked or remembered you after you weren't a kid next door.

It's just a reaction image. Geez.
