GotG 2 exists

Spidey 2 is better.

normies love TDK because of how they all somehow relate to Joker. it's shit.

It does, it unfortunately does.

spiderman 2 aged like shit

Spider-Man 2 came out before tdk and it's still the best capeshit ever made

...

Nod an argumend :DDDD

It's not even the best film in its trilogy.

Spider-Man 2 is a nice summer flick. The Dark Knight is true cinema.

>image search
>"70 most beautiful cinematic shots"

What's so good about this one?

First Spidey is superior.

>he can't tell
yikes, guess we got ourselves a redditor

unironically eli5 it to me

>eli5
wow, here have an upboat

Too formulaic. Spiderman 2 completely transcended the genre and reached heights in writing, direction and cinematography that other capeshit could only ever dream of reaching. The first spiderman trilogy is an actual filmography while other capeshit movies are simply products

>tdk best capekino
>When Spider-man 2 exists
>When Darkman exists
> When fucking BLADE exists
kys mah man

are you fucking 12?

Unbreakable and Spiderman 2 are better you pleb fuck

>*blocks your path*

Spider-Man's weakest point is the dramatic element, Darkman is a pastiche and Blade isn't cape-related.
Spider-Man 2 is unfortunately shackled and imprisoned by the idiosyncratic elements of Raimi's filmmaking. The balance between comedy and drama is always leaning heavier to the comedy side, just as it was with Evil Dead.

It is not even the best gotg

Unbreakable isn't a superhero film, read up on Spider-Man 2.

Raimi makes it work incredibly well though. And there are some heavy parts in spiderman 2 like with Peter confessing go aunt may about uncle Ben's death, Peter having some sort of existential crisis and losing his power, doctor octopus was a tragic character and redeemed himself at the end through his own destruction. Let's not forget the train scene either.

>Unbreakable isn't a superhero film

Umm, no sweaty

>sweaty

>>sweaty

Umm, no sweaty

Unfortunately those scenes don't exist in a vacuum, their emotional charge gets dismantled by scenes that follow them. I'm not saying Spider-Man 2 is a bad film, it's pretty good. Chris Nolan is just better at balancing tone than Raimi.

>their emotional charge gets dismantled by scenes that follow them.

How can the emotional depth of a scene be diminished after it has happened?

Very easily, if you follow up a sad scene with a scene that has too much unrelated action or is too funny, you kill the emotional depth of the previous scene. e.g. Han Solo's death in The Force Awakens followed by a chase sequence/fight scene

Take off the rose tinted glasses and put down the nostalgia, kid.

Blade is still King

Blade is not a superhero film.

>posting on Sup Forums
>asks if i'm underage
What answer would you find more appalling?

The only reason people even watched it was because Ledger died.

>Blade isn't cape-related
I will forgive your transgression this once..

A vampire hunter isn't a superhero, especially the way he is presented in the movie.

It objectively is

This is a fucking Batman thread nigger, are you aware who Batman fucking is?

Yes, he's the caped crusader, one of the most iconic superheroes in the history of comic books.

Nigga wut?
I mean i get that Blade isn't exactly black superman but cmon. That shit is cape. Does Ghost Rider not count? Or Constatine? Or Hellboy?
What about the Resident Evil movies? That skinny white bitch is flying through the air and using telekinesis! Is that Cape-shit?

So Batman is a superhero now because he wears a cape and a mask and Blade is not i assume?

>GotG 2 exists

didn't like that at all. esp the corny scenes with them laughing really hard over nonsense.

Post a pic with a timestamp.

No.

Lmao it's an honor to talk to you mate.

Thor Ragnorak is a better GotG movie

Why? Yeah, lets be honest, this movie was good only because of Ledger and his character. Everything else is kinda bland. Also Noland movies are too sterile to the point they feel bland.

...

the VIRGIN Nolan vs the CHAD raimi

Yeah its peak capekino.
Spidey 2 was more comic book-y and raimi style of comedy/drama suited the character. Nolan did a great job with the source material, captured batman and his arch enemy well and found a way to make a pg-13 movie with enough danger and fright to make joker feel scary and dangerous.

It had a good run but TDK is superior in every way

Man of Steel was better and actually kino

>one of the worst cape garbage movies
>calls it kino
here's your (you)

The donner superman movies and dark knight are better than any marvel/fox garbage.

>10 years later

Make it stop

pleb detected

The opening was horrible shit. Just as bad as the plane scene if not worse.

ummm, no sweatie

Was this so good because Nolan was basically writing a crime thriller with Batman in it rather than literal capeshit?

kys

Fucking fags, this is 70 years old and still unbeatable Kino.

all capeshit movies suck, this is a fact

2008 WAS 20 YEARS AGO

Top fucking kek

too long

watchmen is the best ever made fyi

Everyone in this thread are wrong.
Constantine is the best one by miles.

K I N O

O

Really makes me think

nolan is a hack

How did he keep getting out of Arkham/Blackgate? What happened to Joker? What happened to Deebo? Why do people think Bruce died despite the fact Alfred imagines exactly how Selina looked despite only meeting her at the party for Dent's death anniversery? What does Sup Forums think about the animated one that is within Nolan's unniverse? Why was Ra's so ashamed of Bane yet taught him everything the league knew?

Batman is the Great Detective because he's the only person deranged enough to understand his nemeses.

I still get chills from 2001 Spidey.

Literally all this is answered if you paid attention you twat.

Except the Joker. He was supposed to be in TDKR but they just blatantly ignored his character out of respect for Heath Ledger.

No Hulk (2003) here?
Fucking plebs.

Would you bugger off already?

That shit was trash.

Make something better bugman.
