The end.

another MEH story .... bravo Marvel!

>Next Week

How hyped are you bendis to shit all over Tony in favor of his OC

Oh boy.

I can just the current Iron Man to get my Riri fixings. This is NOT needed as a one off.

Spolier alert it's shit

Taskmaster should be able to curbstomp Clint a thousand times over

My man Task never gets the respect he deserves :(

I don't want it

>"The Old Timey Hawkeye"
Oh fuck off.

...

Kate's one of the few legacy characters I don't mind, honestly. She can be charming when written well.

I hope he hits on her.

Nice.

I'm honestly surprised they didn't put Hawkeye & Hawkguy on the cover

>No Richard Rider & Sam Nova generations book

>Could have been about Sam having adventures with Classic Rider or have Sam team-up with Richard during one of the many losing battles in Annihilation

>Written by Jeff Lovness

Why can't we have nice things?

>Watch as The Real Hawkeye gives that old-timey loser some tips of the trade! Hah, he never woulda figured these out without her!

Is this Eden character new?

His book got cancelled, so it got cut

Because we gotta have TWO of them with Carol Danvers to show that she sucked back when people that weren't paid liked her to now where she's suppose to be the greatest yet she was mostly responsible for CW2 being a mess

>shit talking the classic costume
The practicool t-shirt and sunglasses look he sports now isn't any better, at least his old duds had personality.

it's still funny

Seems like it, she'll most likely become a big part of Kate's book down the line.

I'm eagerly awaiting the dumpster fire that is Bendis' generations book, I want to see if it's as bad as the review says it is or if it's worse.

>pink
I thought it was purple?

Too bad that most of the time she isn't.

What is your problem with her?

you seem to be new around here.

Not ur new.

I think he means how she gets butchered in America Chavez' book.

Oh, Everybody favorite character always butcher by America book.

> Clint thinking with balloons and not captions.

Love it.

>Hawkeye: one of the TWO greatest sharpshooters.
>Kate: World's greatest sharpshooter.
KEK!

Why Marvel treat Kate as if she were Marvel's best sharpshooter? we all know that...
1- Bullseye
2- Taskmaster
3- Hawkeye
4- Kate... maybe

This is like Moon Girl being the smartest person in the world?

She's nowhere near the top ten, she's not even in the top twenty.

Clint's brother Barney is just as good as Clint, and the Trickshot was better than both of them. Not to mention that Swordsman is a hell of knife thrower.

Barney is still alive? I never finished reading Fraction run.

Fine, I'll say it. I really liked this book. Never read Kelly's Hawkeye, but this was fun from beginning to end and I went in ready to hate it. Intriguing scenario, well crafted dialogue and characterization, respectful and loving towards Clint in his prime and even his rogues gallery, cool little bit of research with the four arrow trivia worked in well, and great action. Loved the way Bullseye is hyped up and Swordsman was great and not jobbed like a gag character.

This is the only Generations book that accomplished what I presume they set out to, I'm interested in Thompson's run. No identify bullshit, the girl can write and has merit.

I hope he's shitfaced the whole time.

It is.

It always was.

Cute!

Also meh. Issue wasnt bad.

They oversell her at the cost of Clint, so every time she shows up it ends up crapping on a great character who has becoming increasingly a punching bag in the last few years.

>Taskmaster higher than Hawkeye

Come on, now.

I actually loved the way her relationship with Clint was done in Fraction's Hawkeye, even if Clint himself was off-colour.

Nobody did. When Kate went out West to save gay people from the Beach Boys or whatever, we pretty much all collectively tapped out.

Yes, he hooked up with the single mom and they took off to somewhere tropical with a lot of Clint's money.

That seriously reminds me of Lian Yu

We're these throwaway OCs or actual villains?

Hahaha no, Taskmaster is a jack-of-all-trades-but-a-master-of-none. He just has a lot of tricks up his sleeve that *might* tip the balance in his favor.

Taskmaster is a lousy mimic; nothing he does is the slightest bit original -- it's literally copied from other, better people.

He belongs at the bottom, just below an amoeba.

>nothing he does is the slightest bit original
That doesn't matter in the slightest when you're trying to judge how skilled someone is at any given thing, you fucking moron.

But that's what mimics do, they mimic.

>inb4 it somehow turns out great

Why don't any of the legacy heroes just say they're from the future? Why do they all make up these dumb lies?

Taskmaster's a mimic, but he's also a professional. Other heroes and villains have personal lives, jobs, relationships.

Taskmaster on the other hand is just all about being the best merc in the business. He doesn't just mimic others, he studies them. He trains in how to take them down and how to turn their strengths against them.

This Taskmaster wasn't that guy though. He'd never met Hawkeye. He was probably coasting along on his talent. In that kind of situation, where Taskmaster is learning DURING THE FIGHT ITSELF, of course Clint has the upper hand.

I hope he hits her. Pym style.

>He belongs at the bottom, just below an amoeba.

You take that back right the fuck now.

Taskmaster wouldn't fight anybody unless there is money involved.
It would be more in-character for him to JOIN Hawkeye so they can get the fuck out of there as soon as possible, all while learning more about Clint's style-

Also, Tasky didn't made his costume until after he studied all the Avengers, Hawkeye included, and decided to sell himself as Mook trainer.

Okay, this is actually really fun. I went into this expecting to be annoyed, but this is the sort of Hawkeye on Hawkeye interaction I enjoy.

it helps a lot that Clint is shown, described and appreciated as a competent super-hero and marksman, not a pizza loser.

The only things Kate shows over Clint are the same ones Clint himself taught her.

It's not the best comic book ever, it's a nice comfy "let's meet the past version of my mentor"

>going as far as to color Clint's uniforn pinker to make a joke about how it's pink when it's always been purple
I won't stand for this

I miss when Kate had a full and actual costume instead of a Bondgirl body suit.

I can't tell if her identity is meant to be secret anymore.

This

Bullseye was scary in this story.
