Is this movie pleb filter? Why do people shit on it so much? Because it actually had a believable plot for once and a not over the top cartoon cutout villain?

And no, people don't like it because the action scenes look like they're edited by a kid with ADHD. Like Bourne 2 or 3 but on crack.

It was an okay Bond film. People's expectations were too high after Casino Royale.

It looks better after Spectre

it worked for the car chase. the only good car chase Craig has done as Bond.

I agree. Spectre is way too self-serious for the absurdities that are in it... that took a lot of the fun out.

Liked desert part. It had nice aesthetic.

this has to be the movie with the worst cutting I've ever seen

I get epilepsy just watching the action scenes

>pulls open parachute three feet above the ground after falling from a fucking airplane

>survives

Die Another Day: >Bond is suspended from duty, goes rogue
Casino Royale: >Bond goes rogue after a terrorist
QoS: >Bond is suspended from duty, goes rogue after Quantum
Spectre: >Bond is suspended from duty, goes rogue after Spectre

Why

that's how you keep your gov reputation clear basic spy stuff

It was too short, and the plane and parachute scenes are unforgivable.

whenever I see this fucking poster I think it's the steve carell and tina fey movie

Casino Royale > QoS >> Skyfall >> Spectre
the movies are really falling off

Between high expectations and the writer's strike, this film was doomed.

> bond doesn’t bed the bond girl

the absolute state of soy bond

While this makes sense, the films imply that MI6 is actually trying to stop him operating.

Casino Royale > Spectre >> Skyfall > Quantum

jump cuts were horrible
that being said, I don't hate the movie. It is quite good if you want a GQ magazine action flick

it has it's moments

Terrible editing, bland villain, bland Bond interest, and an overall overblown mess. Skyfall and casino Royale are the only Bond films worth watching Craige wise.

Subconsciously they know that License to Kill is god-tier.

My only complaints were the villain was completely forgettable and Bond never fucked the main Bond girl. This was still better than Spectre though.

I would say Casino Royal alone desu. Skyfall had a terrible opening themeand was just bland. Who fucking cares if M dies? and that twerp they've got playing Q-male can go an all.

Quantum of Solace >>>>> Skyfall >>>>>> Spectre > Casino Royale

That isn't saying a lot. His car chase casino royale, which many plebs rank as the best James bond flick, lasted 15 seconds before a sharp turn did him in. His car chase in spectre was the worst car chase in all of cinema, there's no tension they're just driving at a steady speed though the city doing no good stunts and never even hitting each other. Can't remember if there was a car chase in skyfall.

Fucking hate this trend. Mission impossible has the same problem. What's wrong with just sending him on a mission where he doesn't have some personal vendetta or go rogue or something?

not even all the water, like 1/3 of the national water supply

I'm guessing Nestle owns more than that in reality

you have to cut him off from his allies in some way (in an enemy country, goes rogue, undercover in evil organization, etc) or else it doesn't seem like a dire threat if he a whole country's resources to use

>greene in desert
>bond throws oil
>"you'll make it 20 miles before you drink it"

Why the fuck would Greene pick it up and carry it 20 miles? Insane dehydration doesn't kick in straight away.

It had some good sequences. The opening car chase and the opera scene and the escape from the little bar/hotel after Felix Leiter tips him off.

The storys a bit muddled unless you have the events of CR fresh in your mind. The villain's plot is not that believable but by no means the most ridiculous and certainly not as boring a plot as TWINE or S.

Absolutely no reason to watch it over FRWL though.

watch it immediately after Casino Royal and its a much better viewing experience - its essentially an action heavy conclusion/prologue to that movie.

In 20 years, it'll be much better appreciated by Bond fans, sort of like Her Majesty's Secret Service was originally hated and is now beloved.
