actually, in this case, its about Yang is way too confused about Mashengo, which is a marine, is aboard on a capital ship. Mashengo would be assigned to boarding ships like Schenkopp, that's why he is asking why Mashengo is on the ship. the only thing funny in the scene is that Yang uses Are wa nanda? which is referring Mashengo as an object.
