this movie is barely held together by Robert Rodriguez' directing, it's so insanely corny

Bump.

Solid evidence!

>if it's from a comic it's capeshit
>that means my friend dahmer and american splendor are capeshit

This is heavily stylised noir, not capeshit

Bump.

>-no

you're right it cant

comic =/= capeshit

>none of the actors shot scenes together
>kino

Prove it.

DAE like Sin City 2 because it's all we got.

>no cape

I enjoyed it even though it wasn't well recieved

Road to Perdition would have been a better example of non-comic capeshit.

I meant a non-capeshit comic.

>Sin City 2 Pros
Eva Green titties constant
Josh Brolin & his story
Powers Boothe aka Rourke
Solid 3D transfer that works really well with Black & White
>Cons
Marv underused & overused same time
Mansion raid happens twice
Joseph Gordon Levitt & his story
Jessica Alba does not get nude again
No Clive Owen
Jeremy Piven & Law & Order SUV cops

I mean I really want to like this movie but it was pretty average compared to original and probably would've beenr received better had it been made much sooner with Angelina Jolie & Johnny Depp as rumored.

>If it's a comic it must be capeshit!
Kill yourself

>Sin City
>capeshit

>Sin City
>not a gimmick with impeccable timing

Both of these only have one answer, choose wisely.

Movie is dogshit aside from the Hard Goodbye. You know it's true.

>it's corny
God fucking damn it I hate young people.

>had it been made much sooner with Angelina Jolie & Johnny Depp as rumored.

Sin City already used the best stories from the comics, only the "A Dame to Kill For" storyline represented the same quality in the 2nd. That was the root of all problems, and no Jolie or Depp wouldn't have changed that.

Re-casts (Owen > Brolin / Madsen > Piven / Duncan > Haysbert / Aoki > Chung etc.) did not turn out as they supposed to, plus Rodriguez failed to use potentially promising chars (like Hartnett's Colonel) from the first one.

Overall, the backbone of the movie (Green as Ava and her story) was fine and I also enjoyed Levitt's too (despite the semi-weak ending), but the rest were indeed quite forgettable and mediocre compared to the original SC.
