Hellraiser and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

This, but im very partial to army of darkness and nightmare on elm street
The hell is that from

The Teletubbies movie.

Attached: 42312.png (258x400, 169K)

The Exorcist since it's the only horror movie I can't watch.

Source on the gif?

Eh, ive seen it but i thought it felt like it was some scare tactic propaganda made up by someone involved.

Those early-00's jumpscare pranks fucked me up as a kid to the point where I can't look at the girl's face without freaking out. That and Pazuzu.

You'll really hate the little film distortions and random demon cuts they throw in when shit's going down.

I doubt I'll ever going to watch this film desu my dude

John Carpenter's "The Thing"

/thread

Desensitization works very well.
Force your brain to like what you are afraid of and you'll never be afraid of anything.

Attached: sndn31.jpg (1024x768, 380K)

i mean... yeah

Probably The Exorcist.

youtube.com/watch?v=Vr9mLP6NwnU
this always scared me as a kid

That’s a good one!

You're Next

This

>The Exocrcist

I will never understand why people find this shit scary.

enjoyable, but not really horror.

Probably Rosemary's Baby, although it's not the scariest.

It's either Texas Chainsaw Massacre or The Shining.

>The face on the butt
Why does it make my penis hard?

Attached: 1519515804626.jpg (1280x720, 80K)

the shining

anyone who says anything else is a massive pleb

exorcist is second and texas chainsaw massacre is a distant third

The Shining is Ultra Comfy Kino 9000. Better than the novel. Best Kubrick film. Best Nicholson film. Best Horror film. Absolutely fucking based.

Attached: 1521290449219.jpg (447x485, 48K)

you didn't even specify which cut of the shining is best, you pleb. there's the international cut and the longer american cut.

You have to believe in the bible for it to be scary.

Exactly, that and the whole catholic guilt and how i was always freaking out about going to hell as a kid, this movie seems way too preachy for me
What do the demons look like?

Terminator or Aliens

>terminator
not a horror film. you're disqualified.

yes it fucking is a horror film you dingus

it's an action film.

Conjuring 2

it's an action sci-fi horror film
horror works best if it's just an element of a larger thing
most pure horror films are shit because they don't understand subtlety and they just focus on the regurgitation of existing tropes far too much - but if you make an action film and put a fair amount of horror elements in it (like with The Terminator) you end up with a much better film that provides an effective amount of horror

i have seen the whole video of the survey and i regret nothing

thats some next level shit

BRAINS

What's this

>The hell is that from
the kindred (1987)

Return of the Living Dead

Problem Tarman 2

that movie sucks

It's pure unadulterated kino

JC's Halloween.

anything with censored nudity is not kino

you suck

The Thing.

the Thing

reddit voted that as number 1 in their poll, you plebs

They Live, but more because it's a documentary

they also voted you as best cocksucker but I still prefer your mom, so what?

>inb4 pleb but The Conjuring is based af

Attached: disdainforplebs.jpg (600x693, 41K)

I don't know that because I don't browse Reddit just to bitch about it on my Vietnamese massage forum.

is this Monsturd on the gif?

doesn't change the fact that they did it you pleb

freddy vs jason

>doesn't remember these titties

Attached: returnld1b.jpg (720x480, 56K)

Because you're not a religious person.

how about you think for yourself for once in your life instead of just doing the opposite of reddit does? How do you even know they voted that shit #1?

This zombie is about the only good thing about this film. It's otherwise very bland.

there was a thread about their poll in here a couple of weeks ago

>being this obsessed with reddit
Jesus, just kys already fag

Does anyone know the name of a horror movie from maybe late eighties or early nineties, it has a similiar story to Lovecrafts Colour out of space. An american farm, some meteorite drops there, ruins their water and then the family starts to go mad.

This, Giger fucks your inner kid with a dull sawblade
Great channel holy shit
You get the ones where the girls face creeps under your eyelids when you shower?

Attached: 1513187999756.jpg (750x443, 74K)

you sure that's not Stephen King's Tommyknockers?

American cut. Kubrick was wrong to change it in anyway.

HR Giger knew his shit.

Not scary tho

Unironically, It Follows:
>interesting theme
>actual metaphor
>doesn't rely on jumpscares
>god-tier cinematography

no movie is scary when you're an actual adult. If you get scared by a movie you are a woman, a child, or retarded.

none of them are if you're an adult

Dog Soldiers or Jeepers Creepers

I agree, but the part when they kill "it" in the pool was goofy

>Cant immerse themselves in a movie
Why even watch tv or film?

We do, we just dont get scared. dont give us that liberal logic.

>Mike Worral

the only way a movie can "scare" an adult is by startling them and going BOO GOTCHA

Which Texas Chainsaw Massacre should i watch?

Attached: 1432379357953.jpg (500x386, 35K)

If you can't get scared by a film then how can you get any feelings from a film? How can a movie make you feel excitement but not fear, sadness but not dread?

Fear is a natural human emotion, if a movie cannot make you fear then I'm sorry you must be missing out on other parts too

This. Dog soldiers movie is so underrated.

I think you may be missing some balls, or maybe you haven't been exposed to fear in your real life
horror movies are kid shit compared to a health scare for example

be honest, what movie still scares you now as an adult

No, its not that. I remember that maybe there wasnt that many actors, only the family, husband, wife and two kids. The kinds were ok i guess, their parents were the one going crazy. At one scene the mother sewed so ething in her own hand

That's why it's such a good scene. It plays out exactly how if a bunch of dumbass teenagers actually tried that plan would go.

>That's why it's such a good scene
ehhh, nah still looks stupid

No I'e been through some shit, I've been shot at and almost bled out after a car crash. Doesn't mean i can't imagine myself in the situation of a character in a horror movie.

Perhaps you just lack empathy or an imagination

>Used to watch horror and play scary games as a kid
>resident evil 1 one the playstation at night alone at home
>scary as shit
>fast forward to now
>literally unable to get scared no matter how good the atmosphere is in game or movie.
Kill me. I really enjoyed horror. Now even if I'm invested in the media, I'm too aware that I'm in no danger to get scared.
What do?

>empathy for actors pretending to be in danger
Okay.

uh-huh, sure
and what movie still scares you now as an adult?

Texas Chainsaw Massacre is still my favourite. I love that most of the kills aren't these over dramatic gore fests. Leatherface hitting that lad with the hammer followed by him just convulsing on the floor scared the fuck out of me as a kid. Seems more real.

I don't think it's a coincidence that most people who say they can't be scared guzzled down horror stuff as kids.

It’s The Curse but kid Will Wheaton is in it

I enjoy horror for the atmosphere and aesthetic, but none of it actually scares me.

This is the only movie that scares me!!!FACT!!!

Checked the trailer and that looks like it, thanks, going to watch it again.
