Haven't checked Sup Forums in months

Apparently this show jumped the shark so hard that its fans don't even bother making covert threads for it anymore?

What the fuck

It was moved to trash.

Mods told the general to fuck off to /trash/ until season 3b is premiering

God if only that would happen to all generals.

All cartoon generals, stealth or not, gets moved to /trash/. Sup Forums generals, political discussions and Lion King porn are allowed now.

>and Lion King porn
the mods have needs

Doesn't help that 3a was disappointing as fuck.

More like mods are fags AND hypocrites.

Admit it. Your show is /trash/

season 3a is trash, the show is fine.

Even worse than Season 1? Yikes.

Season one doesn't have several plot hole and put important plot developments into the background.

Because there was nothing to break down yet. Season 1 was still pretty sucky though.

They need to just create a /cog/ board to isolate all the generals on. Instead they selectively allow some generals, including the Star Wars generals that are primarily about live-action movies, while banning others.

I still see threads for this show daily. Know how to get around the "no generals" thing? Make a thread with an actual topic, it isn't that hard. Not that we need more of you around, but seriously, it never ceases to amaze me when people bitch about their generals being shitcanned, just don't make generals...just make you know, a thread with some purpose, it's gonna degenerate to people just talking about whatever the fuck show it is in a general way regardless

That's what /sveg/ has been doing though for years. They just fake a thread with some vague show topic and then use it as a general, but mods are starting to crack down on it.

General posters don’t subsist on general threads to talk about the show. That was never the case. General posters do this for their own unique sense of community with other deviants who only have social interaction when the general thread appears. It’s just a constant circle jerk. That’s why your sensible advice will never be adhered to by the likes of them. Their only goal is a bizarre form of human interaction and feeling of connection.

We did this for the better part of last year, and were fine. It wasn't until we actually shifted into a general format that everything went to shit.

Because in general, no pun intended, generals are not often tolerated here. Know why Transformers often has a general up for days at a time even sometimes when there is no new media? Because Transformers is multi media, and it sort of warrants it because it could be discussion about one of any over a dozen animated series and multiple comic book continuities and movies, so you'll never really see a mod delete that since the alternative could possibly be 20 Transformers threads, whereas Star vs. doesn't really have that much to warrant a general of its own unless something new came out, but that doesn't mean discussion of the show itself is outlawed

Just an example, but yeah, generals as a general rule are not really allowed to just exist here because it creates basically a sub board within the board that people use as a personal chatroom and not one that really needs to exist all the time.

I'm sure if you made a legitimate thread about Star vs. The Forces of Evil the mods would not delete it, or maybe they would sometimes, mods can suck at times, but for the most part I think they just don't want gratuitous generals for the sake of having them, I wish some other boards had stricter rules on it to be honest.

I can see this, I don't usually frequent threads of this show, only once in a while, but I see behavior like that in other threads here or on other boards.
