Homer does a DNA test and learns he's part Spanish, so he goes to Spain and ends up becoming a bull fighter. Lisa protests that it's animal cruelty and Homer is torn between honoring his daughter or losing his new found Spanish culture.
Has Homer ever been a movie director before? Think of all the celebrity cameos you could get from a premise like that!

Krusty the Klown and Reiner Wolfcastle themed episode starts off like this:
>”Hey, hey, hey Reiner I made it, despite your directions.” >”Hello Krusty. I hope you are ready for an unforgettable luncheon.”
Grayson Murphy
Bart brings fidget spinner to school and Principal Skinner bans it. This causes an outcry and all the students bring in fidget spinners to protest.
The incident is shown on the news and famous fans of fidget spinners speak out against Skinner.
Noah Nelson
I think we can go stupider. It turns out that Fidget Spinners were actually invented by Sideshow Bob, as part of a convoluted plot to kill the Simpsons. When Bart finds out, he attempts to remove all the fidget spinners in the house; resulting in the rest of the family punishing him. Later that night, Sideshow Bob activates a tiny chip inside the spinners, causing them to spin incredibly fast and steal the oxygen from the house. Or something stupid like that, it's never explained. Bob is eventually foiled when the B Plot comes to a head, which somehow involves Homer destroying all the spinners by accident. Maybe he was in charge of making them and used cheap materials. The episode then ends with Bob being arrested, and Lisa chastising Homer for destroying the fidget spinners. Lisa then also shouts at Bart for some stupid shit, like not warning them about Bob when he clearly did.
Ayden Scott
It turns out Sideshow Bob loves Bart, and his hate towards him was actually sexual frustration since he is constantly cock-blocked by the police. Bob captures and proceeds to rape Bart until Bart dies from the penetration. Bob gets sad and cries, and then rapes Homer, who is forced to wear a mask of Bart’s face.
Ian Richardson
Marge catches Homer masturbating and puts him in prison for "sexual assault"

I don't know if this or something similar has already been done but let's say Lisa wishes she was in another family because of the same complaints she always has, y'know, they're white trash and stupid or whatever else, and it actually happens (I dunno how, maybe she hallucinates it or her and the other kids get put in a foster family) and the family is a version of what a family like the Simpsons would be like if put under realistic circumstances. Everyone's much more miserable, poor and assholish and this version of Homer has a really shit job because he's a moron and a drop out, the Simpsons kids have to go through things like selling their possessions for rent/bills (i.e Lisa's saxophone, Bart's skateboard or a console or some shit), Bart can't pull pranks like before because they just can't afford the damages or something and they end up missing out on meals and all realise how great they had it before and how lucky they really are and then they end up going back to Marge and Homer. Pretty miserable and Grimes-y, I know but whatever.
Adrian Morris
Holy shit it's the perfext nusimpsons episode.

Superintendent Chambers and Skinner have a luncheon. Skinner burns a roast and disguises fast food as a meal. Skinner and Chambers eat, but Chambers is suspicious that they are eating hamburgers instead of steamed clams. Skinner says that are steamed hams. Chambers loses his shit, and attacks Skinner. All of a sudden, the aurora borealis bursts out of Skinner’s kitchen. Skinner and Chambers share a romantic moment and kiss.
Luis Martin
Large Marge repeat except this time she accidentally gets Ass implants
John Cooper
Skinner is confirmed to be Armin Tamzarian, which was never retconned. The rest of the episode consists of Lisa educating Springfield about the benefits of cuckolding.

Skinner quits his job at Springfield Elementary, and opens up a successful restaurant, named "Skinner's Aurora Borealis Kitchen", where the specialty food item served there is "Steamed Hams". Krusty soon sues Skinner because the "Steamed Hams" look, smell, and taste exactly like the burgers at Krusty Burger.

Has Homer ever become a racecar driver? You could throw in NASCAR cameos and shit.
Homer opens a Donut shop but he then realizes it's not an easy work full of free food. Burns his hand in the deep frier and starts screaming for 30 straight seconds. Paty and Selma laugh at him and Marge gets angry at them, then the episode is about Marge remembering her childhood and how her sisters were never for her but then she realizes she was wrong.
Meanwhile Lisa tries to shut down a local butcher and they do this thing where they point at the joke and smile and nod.
Jonathan Rivera
>Krusty v. Skinner Burgers
Isaac Nguyen
This would have workedwonderfully in older Simpsons if you had Lionel Hutz representing Skinner

I feel like Krusty would sabotage the case by having an outburst that Krusty burgers aren't food and haven't been food for decades

Lisa discovers her talent for folding napkins into swans, so she enters a competition that takes her to Martha's Vineyard in Massachusetts. There, Homer struggles with his alcoholism and being there for Lisa, who has a new rival/love interest (voiced by Jeremy Irons.) At the end, Homer wakes up from a drinking binge, hung-over, and manages to drag his hung-over ass across the state to see her final performance. Spoiler: Lisa is happy to see him, but she loses because her swan's neck was too short to qualify as a swan, so she's disqualified. Lisa's rival abandons her, but at least she has Nelson, Ralph and Milhouse to support her.
Meanwhile, Bart and Marge stay home, since Bart is banned from Massachusetts. Mage joins the kids to be cool and have fun, as she never had any friends growing up. But she eventually falls in with the bullies and abandons Bart to be cool. She eventually leaves the bullies because they only wanted to hang with her so she could buy them beer. At the end, Marge and Bart just fidget spinner, Ke$ha, Google Home, Wonder Woman, dabbing.
They'd never break up Lisa/Milhouse. They've been pushing it hard for years.
Ryan White
Have one where Krustys father is killed by the Alt-right for being Jewish and Lisa needs to explain that Nazis a bad, the B plot is Homer and Bart joining the alt-right because the showed Homer a funny frog to brainwash them, Lisa then needs to snap them out of it using wage gap statistics. The episode ends with Lisa telling off Marge for being a stay at home mom and perpetuating the patriarchy.

A 1:1 replication of a Season Three episode of your choice.
Absolutely nothing is changed other than the re-recording of voice lines and the actual animation. The story, plot, jokes, and script remain entirely the same.
After Moe kills himself, his friends decide to keep the bar open themselves, and nearly run it into the ground. But then Moe's twin brother, Bo, who sounds just like him rolls in. He's the inheritor of the bar, and though he's not a great bartender, he manages to just barely get it back into the black. Episode ends with, "And in light of our newfound friendship and in honor of my brother, please. Call me Moe from now on." Then the judge walks by and makes it official and legal. "And the good news, is all his clothes fit me, so I can just start wearing that stuff!"
Ayden Davis

Someone suggested an idea in the last thread:
It turned out the Maude who died was a twin sister and the real Maude comes back.
Making it even more nu-Simpsons: The real Maude comes back, and she's gotten a teaching degree and become more like Edna Krabappel, now taking her place.

People fat shame Selma and Patty. Lisa raises a stink in town hall and gets fat shaming labeled as hate speech. Bart suspended for making a fat joke at school. Marge gets defensive of him. Skinner initially starts to agree with her until Lisa comes in and overrules them, explaining why they're both wrong. Bart feels really, really sorry.
Subplot is Homer balloons to King Size Homer weight because he can't be shamed for being fat anymore. He tries to abuse his new weight in various ways until he gets on a roller coaster with a weight limit. They try to stop him, but he claims fat shaming and gets on. The roller coaster breaks and Homer is an idiot.

Lisa is burtallt murdered after going a fringe activist group and the family decides to move from Springfield. From now on the show revolves around skinner and chalmers in their new burger joint "aurora's steamed hams" in which skinner will have to go far to keep his lies from catching up to him.

what if we bring back Maude Flanders, and everything past her death was a dream. then in the same episode she dies in the exact same manner, while Ned tries to prevent it.

Homer starts taking pictures of all the food he eats and posts them to Insta, unintentionally becoming a viral sensation. This upsets Lisa, who had been posting rants on her blog complaining about vegetarian food spots, because Homer is now much more famous than her with "low-brow" content. Guest appearance by Gordon Ramsey, who invites both of them onto his new show for a special vegetarian episode.

>an It parody Nah, it's too recent. Their parody episodes usually come out at least two years after everyone has stopped caring, like that Treehouse of Horror that parodied the Hunger Games.
Hunter Collins
Jerkass Homer Lazy celebrity cameos Trite humor Pandering to modern day technology and pop culture Bad storytelling
Kayden Long
I could actually see that being a Treehouse of Horror episode. Just: Ned stuck in a groundhog day loop of the day Maude died, and trying to save her; but each attempt just makes her death more gruesome and painful.
Evan Barnes
Lisa is rejected from a club of free thinkers as they claim she spouts politics without any thought or heart to her beliefs.
Bart's prank goes terribly wrong to the point where he thinks he hurt or killed someone.
Aaron Edwards
I'm 99% sure it's gonna be in this year's treehouse

Homer and the chicken (who they get eminem to voice and do a rap for, for no reason) from family guy become best friends, while Bart and Burns team up to kill the giant chicken and fry him Episode ends with Homer fighting the chicken family guy style over an incredibly petty thing after homer saves the chicken from Bart and Burns
Jace Scott
This, also stiff animation that makes visual gags shit. Imagine the Indiana Jones parody with Homer tumbling down the stairs as a boulder done today.
Andrew Sanchez
It turns out that Bart's mere presents is a huge aphrodisiac for married couples for some reason so he sells his services of being around couples trying to get pregnant then Fat Tony hears about this and kidnaps Bart and Homer too for some reason and locks them in his stable until Bart can make his prized race horse inseminate a female horse but it turns out the horse is homosexual so they let it free with his boyfriend and walk away and Fat Tony never brings up his missing horse and failure to receive services.
Aiden Hall
bart gets lost to the grid
Xavier Sanchez
This is actually a kind of decent elevator pitch, although it is a bit too spicy for modern simpsons.
Fund this.
With Barts new business he stops attending school, so then Skinner and Krabbappel suddenly find it hard to make the right chemistry.
Jackson Flores
When I was 12 I wrote a script where Homer is accidentally made an agent of the CIA and sent to China. There was like an extended sequence where they were just showing him a bunch of gadgets that didn't make any sense, like a giant toaster that was made to serve giant toast. It was a piece of shit episode made by a piece of shit 12 year old, but I could honestly see them doing it in 2018.
Brody Adams

THAT's meant to be Gaga? It manages to both violate classic Simpsons style AND be severely inaccurate. I'd give it a pass if it was unflattering.
Gavin Myers
Bart gets a teenage girl pregnant and has to work through deciding whether to abort or not. Episode ends with the girl telling Bart to fuck off because it's her body and shes the only one choosing. Viewers are left in the dark on her ultimate choice.
