Hello, Sup Forums. I'm a Brazilian journalist doing some research for an article on the alt-right.
I've been on Sup Forums for the few last days and I can see some of you don't quite like that term. Why is it? Isn't Sup Forums one of the main hubs for the alt-right besides Reddit?

Once the mainstream media has poisoned the term "alt-right" it allows them to fling the label at someone and therefore we don't have to think about that person's ideas because we already know they're bad, because they're "alt-right".

Sup Forums switches positions constantly throughout the year. The only consistency between those positions is they're all right of center to varying degrees. If you look at old archives, Sup Forums used to be die hard libertarians with a mix of neo nazis.

Irrelevent and no. Pol is made up of many different people. What seems to bind us is nationalism. Pride in whatever country we are from, and open thought on ways to improve said country. Lurk enough and you see more overall talk of world peace here than in other places. We all want to be powerful. Just seperate.

Alt right is a coined term that really doesn't decribe anyone fully here. This place is a stop for fans of classic right wing autocrats, genuine fascists and monarchists.
