communism works in practice. it has worked in the past. technically, there isn't nearly as much wrong with it as western propaganda would have you believe. i don't believe communism is "wrong". it's just against my personal interest. i really, really like inequality. i think some deserve to have more than others.

Communism is good only while you have nothing. Once you do - it only hampers things.

Time for socialism and then communism is to be once the capitalist society and historical phase has run its course. This is because capitalism can and will produce cheap products and services to be consumed. However if capitalism ever evolves to the point where your average worker can no longer consume the products and services made there will be no more profits to be made and thus the system starts to crumble. The western world decided to combat this by creating systems of redistribution of wealth to keep the machine artificially alive and thus reduce the need to change via violent revolution. Strong labor unions made sure that wages kept rising and wealth got distributed which decreased profits. This lead to economic problems in the 70s and this in turn lead to the rise of supply economics and magical unicorn of "trickle down". Now profits have increased tremendously but wages have pretty much stagnated.

Now the economy is in trouble again but for the completely different reasons than in the 70s however the policy makers are trying to solve everything with the same remedies they used back then. So yes the capitalist economies are starting to crumble but the time for the revolution is not here. Not just yet.

Also if we manage to reach a certain techonological level of automatization before this final collapse occurs we may avert a bloody revolution and simply peacefully drift towards a more socialist, equal and free society and maybe finally actual communism.

Socialism and communism are both post-capitalist. This means that capitalism has to fail first. Something like: "If it ain't broken why bother fixing it?". Capitalism is doomed to fail sooner or later but before that lets try to enjoy the ride.

Nope. Communism is supposed to be communal production of wealth distributed equally among those participating in the production.

Basically you have a company but instead of paying them wages out of your profits you give 'em a share of the company thus motivating them to work harder since the better the company is doing economically the better they are doing economically.

Now make all the companies like this and have them participate in the collective decision making by forming council of these companies. And thus you have communism.

Frankly, Communist countries are the best atm. Cuba, Vietnam, North Korea etc.

The dictatorship of the bourgeoisie in the West (and indeed most of the world) is totally unacceptable. They call it "liberal democracy" but there's nothing democratic about it, just lots of the liberal. It's a system where the worker's movements are constantly messed with and marginalized. Mass immigration, "humanitarianism", racism, sectarianism are just some of the things they sponsor to achieve this. And slowly the power within the bourgeoisie shifts to the richest and greediest of them, the bankers, and then slowly shifts to the richest of those bankers etc. It's a path to ever worse dictatorship by the very richest.
