>communism >socialism >capitalism >society/government >religion >psychology >pretty much the whole fucking human endeavor >++++technology
What is this going to result in? Are we inevitably going to full /trans-human/ or do we go back to our respective lands and live in nice homogeneous populations?
I don't know if people would have a problem with each other if we had all stayed savages that never mixed with each other and created civilization as a means to make life easier in conditions that were not made for neo-man.
The civilized man uses technology to make his time on earth relatively inhabitable pretty much anywhere he wants to be. we've created those conditions as a common denominator for most peoples. definitely not all, but globalism, and government, finance, money is all being siphoned into this future life - but what is it?
Are we all going to turn into a bunch of sexless, race-less, immortal machines? Or are we going to return to a kind of neo-primitive state where we do not fuse to the technology we create but use it for the betterment of individual lives? Which ideology has the ability to further these goals?
intelligence does not lead to offspring. 10 pt IQ loss every 5 generations or so

I was wondering -
People fight over their lands because prior to meeting and establishing civilization, we were mostly homogeneous nomadic groups, and, didn't really have to think about having to preserve our own race -
now that we've domesticated ourselves, we our losing our sense of identity, and now go around trying to "fight" to preserve it...

I think (((Sagan))) was right 40 years ago: either transhuman spacefaring civilization (with the requisite one-world government) or nuclear war leading to civilization being set back quite a bit.
Caleb Perry
It's called regression. And I highly doubt you have any data to support that claim.
James Harris
I think we are turning into machines.
I don't know if this is a good or a bad thing.
The inevitable march forward does nothing but distill science fiction reality in my mind.
but 10 years ago this thing I'm looking at was not a reality, and on and on.
I really want to conquer the stars.

People need to stop memeing that mediocre movie. Was a rushed piece of diarrhea that didn't live up to its premise beyond the intro sequence.
Christian Baker
Why would you echo Sagan. The man was a visionary.
Oliver Hughes
Nevermind. Jewish.
Benjamin Murphy
DXMD was a pretty silly game, but it did ask an important question: when we become machines, who gets left behind?
I'd like to think I'm wrong, since liberal democracy is a cozy ideology, but I expect the future to be a sharp divide between the technologized elite and the grubby subhuman plebs.
Although maybe we'll invent cold fusion and be Star Trek after all.

How can savages win against a technologies civilization?
Islamic countries cant even make their own tank or a jet. Their limit is a garage missiles made of climbing pipes. And even for that they use ipads to aim them.
Isaac Morales
Have you seen the video leaked from the Army? It was actually describing this exact scenario. Google "megacities" .
Shit gave me goosebumps.
Jack Wood
Islam will be the last surviving religion of the human race. The white man will just grin and bear it.
Wyatt Hall
Humans are merely a step in the evolution of intelligent life.
AI will inevitably be created and surpass us in every way until we become redundant.
All other questions are irrelevant.

I like Sagan, since I think his perspective was rational and genuinely held, but it can be argued that his (globalist, anti-theist) ideology aligns well with their Project.

Trabsumanism will not be like Deus ex.
If anything they will start geneticly modifying people rather than robot arms for everyone.

I see. I don't know about the anti-theism claim though. I would need to do more research. I am neutral on the religion. What people want to do is their business, just don't fuck with me.

Nigga could pay for that roboarm but he couldnt pay to get his back shaved?

I agree with this, with the proviso that it doesn't mean Islam will "win," since the Arab world will become increasingly irrelevant with the end of the Oil Age.
Any sort of vision of sharia law conquering Europe or something like that, I think is unlikely. The enduring religion of the West is hedonic narcissistic materialism, with a side of fuzzy feel-good spirituality.

watch this first youtube.com/watch?v=nZj2zYnM6hc history is being rewritten right now, it all started at the end of the lest millenia this time we will have an individualist future instead of a collectivist one

>I don't know about the anti-theism claim though.
Not controversial. Watch Cosmos. He's very open about the fact that he thinks religion is bullshit and Christians are often fanatics and hypocrites, i.e. the same view put forth in deGrasse Tyson's Cosmos, only delivered in that charismatic way Sagan had, so it's hard to be offended.

>Communism A static, stagnant world in which nothing ever happens. Worship community, follow rules, do not disobey. >Socialism Communism >Capitalism All the corporations become one corporation, innovation is suppressed because it's easier just mandating copyright terms. Nothing ever happens, worship DM(I-N), follow rules, do not disobey. >Human endeavor Wait and fucking see >Technology Wait and see

Well you're obviously a retarded nigger, but what will happen is once we understand the brain and thought enough, we will be able to create artificial intelligent and emotions. From there anything will be possible, but I hope an everlasting presence of a happy human society on Earth. Miscegenation is bad in every way at this point.
