Sorry if some of it was a bit rambly. My whole life is condensed in there and I lost track of time at some points. Yep. I suspected I was being marked down for a while since I'd seen my peers' papers and marks compared to mine.
My suspicions were confirmed. It was also really important because he was supposed to mark our coursework which becomes part of our final grade. In the end I managed to get an impartial professor to makr it and I got an A.

That's a spot on assessment. Hitler was a great speaker who should have been more cautious and listened to his staff more, as well as dropped all the racial struggle stuff from his ideology. Mussolini invented a pretty great system and had a somewhat understandable goal of "restoring the Roman Empire", but failed to equip his army properly or managed his economics once warfare came. Franco cared only about himself, and he killed off the Falangists who would've run the country much better, but at least he wasn't suicidally aggressive. Salazar did fairly well, but failed to ensure that his regime lasted beyond him.
There aren't a lot of places with fascistic systems today. The closest I can think of is the nordic economic system, which is pretty much pseudo-fascist. But, as we can see, without the nationalism and authoritarianism, they have to deal with a migrant crisis and an overpowering Russia.
They don't want the individual, country or man, to have power over their destiny.
Communism, Islam, mass immigration, UN.
Whatever works to have an easily controlled populace.

Franco wasn't a fascist. He was a typical early 20th century conservative that needed to use a heavy hand to deal with communists that were trying to destroy Spain. You've got to stop confusing military dictators with fascists.

It's funny you say that, because the one documented example anyone has ever shown me was related to Operation Barbarossa, and the choice about whether or not to make a "straight shot" to Moscow (plan A) or a "pincer feint" (plan B) in which the German Army overshoots Moscow on either side, falling back and wintering in the city.
Hitler favored plan B, but came down with a case of dysentery on the eve of starting the campaign, so he deferred to his Generals, who chose Plan A. We all know how that went, because they started later than expected, and failed to make a straight show anyway due to the winter...
Regardless, there were many other variables in Barbarossa, and a more primary cause of their failure was poor intelligence on Soviet industrial capacity to produce tanks.

Pick one. One of the problems on both fronts is the Nazis didn't have air superiority. With jets there is literally nothing stopping the Allies bombers being shot down, and nothing to stop the Nazis supplying their troops with airdrops on the eastern front.

But they didn't, and by the time they were making jets they didn't have the fuel and factories required to make a difference. Let's not forget the Komet plane, a silly and unpragmatic rocket plane that somehow got the go ahead for production.
Hitler should've stopped after he annexed Austria, or at least not have declared war on the USA and Russia. He could've just reinforced the eastern front with it's own version of the Maginot line, waiting for the day Stalin tries to invade Germany. Since the UK would've never been able to open a western front on its own, he could've devoted far more troops, and even brought the Italians and possibly Japanese to bear on the Russians.

only if they had started on their original timetable, in the early Spring. They were late because they had to save Mussolini's forces in Greece.

The Soviets industrialized the east. Going for moscow would've been a big blow, but without cutting off the oil fields (by capturing stalingrad) they could constantly rebuilt and resupply faster than the Germans.

The German army wasn't designed for defence. It was designed to be offensive. Hitler knew the Soviets planned to attack a week after Barbarosa. If he didn't attack them first, he couldn't have cut off massive parts of their army. They would have overrun the German eastern front if given time to prepare for their invasion.
