Have the option of getting a USMC officer commission at age 28. Should I just pass because I'm too old (I'm still posting the same PT numbers as age 18), or should I join?

I don't even know what that means, but if it allows you to make money and keep /fit/ then yeah.

I'm already fit. I mostly need feedback from other militaryfags.

If you do join in an officer's position, be aware you will be working with females.

Lots of people I know are leaving because of it.

Not a military person (yet) but I'm 27 and was offered an officer commission for the air force so I'm kind of in the same boat. I have a BSE so I would probably make more money at a company but I want to go into service just for the sake of it. Military shit sounds more entertaining than sitting at a desk doing mundane garbage all the time, plus the physical aspect and it will be easier to get women as a military officer than a "geek".

Do it fucker. And for the love of all that is holy, do not become a Comm O. You will hate your life.

If you go in as an officer, you will do nothing but sit behind a desk.

Enlisted Commo here. Do it man, being active military is almost as grest as being a NEET. No fiscal responsibilities and get to spend most my money on vidya.

an officer's job is a desk job

The fuck? Enlisted comm o?

the only decent officers (uncucked, bro-tier, would-die-with) I ever met in the service were Marine officers

whatever their process is, it does not strip the soul from the person how the army/airforce/navy does

if you like being a militaryfag, marine officer is probably the most honorable choice

It's Completely different military then it was when you were 18. Trust me, you'd be better off joining the police force and Rounding up dindus and trash. Plus it would be easier on your relationship coming home every night instead being at the whim and mercy of the corp

If that's Abigaile Jacobs, I fucked her when she was still escorting.

Which is another way of saying - yes.

I work in signal communications. Basically the easiest job in the army.

>Johnson, not Jacobs

Also an escort, but a veeeery different kind lol

Also, former army fag 11b did the shit for a few years. Everything has become about "muh diversity" and "muh EQual Oppertunity" and "muh soldiers are rapist so they need SHARP and resiliency training"

Don't get me wrong, best and worst time of my life, but the military is cucked when it comes to ideology

Your comm, not a Comm o. Comm o = communications officer. Very different world from enlisted.

What kind of degree do you have?

Chairforce Lt. here

I say go for it. The worst that can happen is you don't like it and leave at age 32.

Side note though, what's a signals communicator do?

I don't want to do LEO. I come from a military family, but I'm a late blooming loser.

I have a lot of advice from family members who aren't USMC who are saying the system's going to shit. My family tradition is military, and I feel like an old failure for wanting in but I want in. My options are grad school or the USMC. I just can't help but feel old because everyone keeps saying it, even if I'm posting the same PT numbers from a decade ago.

>digits confirms Kek's approval

>the military is cucked when it comes to ideology

All of that comes from above because the top tier brass gets it from the government.

My desk goes a lot faster than yours, though

Oh, I've seen it all and believe me been through it all. Was stationed In Germany, went to A-Stan, everything changed and became very politically correct.

Used to be able to give "wall to wall" counseling, say what was on your mind, be a man among men, smoke people, and act as a soldier...but it all turned into this toy soldier shit and all the good things that attracted me to it went away and gave way to weaker sensibilities.

Don't think he's going to be flying at 28 bub.

It's Katelyn Byrd I used sage don't worry.

Just saying that officers can have jobs other than driving a desk

Golly. She's pretty
