another Sup Forums is always right thread

In the last five years I've gone from a left leaning atheist with little opinion on politics, but Obama would be cool over romney kinda guy, to agnostic libertarian, to agnostic conservative, to finally realizing the importance of religion.

On that note, what is the most aesthetic denomination of Christianity that I should start practicing?

Also, I remember when I laughed at conservatives, then become one albeit religion, then realized the importance of religion. So, what is next in the series? Is this the end?

Fuck Marcus Aurelius he loved to kill christians

didn't know that btw thanks

sedevacantist Catholic...not the end, you have to learn the religion and then try to practice it well

np

spiritism

two temple judaism is christianity before it became christianity, it's the sect jesus followed and is the true redpill denomination.

I believe religion is important but not exclusively for religious reasons.

I was born into a Catholic family but have no particularly strong religious beliefs. The way I look at it is that at least with Catholicism you can really live your pretty much any way you want and repent when you are dying or at confession. That's the whole point of the being born a sinner stuff. It about coming to terms with your weaknesses as a human and acknowledging them.

second temple*

>implying thats a bad thing

would being greek orthodox be weird as a white guy?

judgement has begun, the king comes sooner than anyone thinks.

eastern orthodox or southern baptist are pretty good

Gotta be real here, Catholic and Orthodox practices are directly denied in the Bible. Go Protestant, it's salvation through faith alone rather than the other two denomination's work for salvation.

No. Just say you have Baltic or or Slav heritage. But you'll find a bit of a language barrier, as most Orthodox services will either have a strong element of Russian or Greek.

Religion is for the blue pilled disguised as the red pilled.

If god exists, he is most certainly not what is described by any of the jew religions.

Christianity is a cuck religion. If you want to be religious, be a Pagan.

>finally realizing the importance of religion
How is religion important?

One, the justification of existence and reason for fighting self-hatred and the like. Second, Christian women aren't fucking dumbasses

Being an Episcopalian allows me to tell Christ haters that my church has both women and men as priests, and has even elected a gay bishop. Watching 'muh bigotry' disappear from their faces in an instant is great.

IMO the Episcopal Church keeps the right traditions of Faith present, while pushing boundaries on whatever the social issues are for the times.

There's a lot of good forces at work in the world. Eventually you'll see that a lot of good comes from churches, and more good for the world, wherever it may come from, is a good thing.

Either NatSoc theism or Libert theism is the end of second phase. Welcome to the third one.

First one is awakening to the little shit you used to be.
Second is acquiring a correct mindset amidst your confusion.
Third one is maturily understanding the world.

>How is religion important?
It brainwashes people into behaving in a manner that is conducive to a prosperous society. The culture and community of religions are more important than the myths of divine beings.

>Christianity is a cuck religion
So dominating global politics for over 1000 years is a cuck thing to do? Christianity has produced powerful, prosperous civilizations, centuries of art and philosophy, and the lion's share of the world's philanthropy. Also, Christianity produces the highest quality women, hands down.

You have much to learn.

Oh lawd. The mental traps leading to perpetual degeneracy.

What are these phases of? Indoctrination? Red-pill is using evidence and reason and being skeptical of belief. But if you're not adamant and strong in this skepticism any group of people like evangelicals can swoop in and indoctrinate you. That's why these Christian groups are so prevalent here, they aren't in it for good, they're in it to take advantage of young men who are uncomfortable setting out into reason. They're interlopers here, just like Reddit and Stormfront.

no
christian niggers from the dark ages wrote this about him
nothing from true roman history remains but the ramblings of dark age monarchs who guide the hand of slave monks who actually wrote everything we know about rome.

rome was great. none of its rulers were tyants or murderers. none of that shit happened. the people of rome were strong and free. "slaves" were idiots taken from the wild and worked while being taught how to be civilized and were freed after 10 years. rome kept a constant flow of these so called slaves. they got their own homes and land after they were freed. the economy was much different you didnt have to work for pay like idiots do today. although money did have a role people didnt really need it.

there is so much more people dont know about rome.

I knooooooowww I shouldn't....huff huff.....but I'm just feeeling sooooooo weak right now.

Traditionalist pre-Vaticanum II catholicism, like Mel Gibson and his father.

Latin mass, roman traditions and rites, antijudaism and antiislam instead of heretic liberal modernist freemason muh tolerance muh one world bullshit. It has the added bonus of pissing off modernist heretics like antipope Francis and his 'liberal' sect of cardinals.

The post Vaticanum II catholic church with its Novo Ordo freemason mass is apostate central.

That whole post.....I just don't know where to start.

Christians back then were a cult undermining Roman authority constantly. Of course the Emperor has to deal with them.

I sort of went through that transition in the past 1-2 years too. But on the topic of religion, for my it's just about culture/heritage, as in "it's a part of me, I haven't chosen this", and only care about the tradition, not the actual belief in some god.

Also eastern orthodoxy if you don't want a meme denom, although it's more tightly linked to local traditions.

>realizing the importance of religion.
Good.
>start practicing [Christianity]
Not so fast. What you should realize now is that it's important that normies practice Christianity, not everyone. Are you are a normie, OP?

Hahahahaha.

Christianity produces "born-again virgins" and "anal and oral doesn't count as sex" women.

There's a reason why abstinence sex education has failed in hyper-religious Southern communities.

Literally any community has more conservative women than Christfags. Jews, Hindus, Sikhs, Muslims, even Chinese Atheists.

Carholiscm.
Even though pope Francis isn't great and Benedict was better, I still feel it is the right church.
Being the only one established by Jesus and the apostle Peter was the first pope

Roman emperors loved to kill everyone indiscriminately. Jews, christians, pagans, romans.

When Caesar divided the spoils of his wars among the citizens of Rome during his 46 BC triumph, a mob of citizens screamed at him to give them more. He dragged two of them out of the crowd himself and had them executed on the spot, then dragged out two more and had them ritually sacrificed - literally slaughtered and gutted like animals - to Mars by roman priests, after which their heads were displayed on pikes in front of the temple.

>Carholiscm
Hi, .

Orthodox Church is best church.

Indoctrination, as the modern world shows us, can occure from any source towards any target. You can be indoctrinated to believe in "liberal equality".

What a strong mind does is helping you realize what is going on. What a strong faithfulness does is ward you off against other religions or "faiths". Being Christian is a whole different thing that being a church attendant. One can exist without the other, thus they are not actively linked.

This is the best religion.

Go to a Baptist Church just to aid you in your Bible learning. Read the Bible. New Testament then Old Testament. In the end you will realize that you can solely live off of the idea that Jesus lives.

There are no aesthetic denominations. They're all flawed. You will learn that everything is flawed except the one true god, Jesus.

Yes, but the use of reason tends towards similar positions. Equality under law instead of social equality, separation of church and state, freedoms of speech, etc. If you allow yourself to be indoctrinated you're weak minded, you can pretend you're not because you believe in something strong like National Socialism over something weak like liberal equality, but the fact remains you were hurting and looking for something to believe in to feel better.

what about mormons?

If you're "illuminated" enough, there's really no need for religion. However, not everyone is illuminated and you need something like religion to keep those not initiated from dooming humanity.

Religion has an important role to play in society, like how Christianity made Western civilization possible that shit people from shit countries are able to integrate to and be more human. Atheism's stance on destroying religion would be bad for humanity, thus atheism must be destroyed. You cannot force enlightenment upon others. They must enlighten themselves. "Redpill" themselves, if you will.

Once humanity has been completely redpilled, all on their own, then there would be no need for religion anymore, other than something one may use as a "life guide" of sorts.

So not Christian then. The church you choose should be based on theological integrity and tradition, not virtue signalling to SJWS.

Listen to the 'art of manliness: why men hate church' podcast. It kinda helps in understanding the feminization of the church and why men hate it.

you are fucking retarded if you believe any of this shit happened.

go look up the actual sources of where we get our roman history.
most the important things were written by dark age christian monks

they were written at times of pollitical and social discourse.
they were not written as historic account. the notion of keeping historic records didnt even exist back then
