You can live like a king in Chiang Mai, Thailand for super cheap. Beautiful outdoors and architecture. Natives are chill as fuck; you can leave your bike unlocked and it won't get stolen. Pretty expat / tourist friendly, you can get by without knowing much of the language. All in all, I would highly recommend it for a summer.
