WAR ON INFORMATION AND FAKE NEWS

I think it's time for Sup Forums to weaponize autism and combat the msm backed "FAKE NEWS" meme.

we must come up with a strategy to meme this battle out. imo, we should subvert the word, appropriate and make it lose all intended meaning by turning it ours.

Best move is to follow them to the door, call them fake news.

This. Just commandeer the word just like we did with "diversity" and other buzzwords making them synonymous with nigger rape or whatever

Always refer to MSM organizations as fake news.
Such as "I was reading fake news site cnn.com and came across this story..."

Easy to just show the lugenpresse lying.

They're forced to just plead that they're incompetent not lying.

Is there a possibility that's what they want?

these are the same people who for fucking months pushed the non-existent 'weapons of mass destruction' bullshit. they are the fucking 'fake news'.

where can i get this patch pls anyone
asking for a friend

it's pretty obvious they manufactured the fake news meme to combat information leaks and other news that might undermine the order

It's been done.

There is a whole generation that doesn't trust them.

perhaps an open-source fact checking campaign under the fakenews hashtag?

Just call the MSM "fake news"

Hell, they are the most fake news after all anyway

Can we get an infographic with all the times the msm lied to us this election? Even maybe back to the iraq war when the nyt was pushing it? We can post that shit everywhere like the "95 theses".

This.

Their credibility is at an all time low. Don't let the MSM narrative go unchecked among your family and friends. When they call Info Wars, Breitbart, your favorite youtubers, or any citizen journalism fake news, point out that the most blatant deceivers of the lot are this small handful of agenda-pushing megacorps and government agencies who all seem to mysteriously agree with each other on absolutely everything and never touch on certain topics. When was the last time that you saw a CNN anchor head over to the NYT for a debate with one of their writers?

>How do you know that they know what they're talking about?

When you get multiple perspectives, the truth tends to become fairly clear.

>Fox doesn't follow the crowd!

They're also the self-admitted propaganda wing of the GOP.

I work in a place that is mandating transgender safe space classes and most of my coworkers think it's a fantastic idea. Just so you understand how off the deep end they are. But even amongst all the tears and butthurt over Trump, they all agree that "the media" are full of shit and can't be trusted.

The best way would be to sue CNN et al for libel, misrepresentation, etc. And win, obviously.

They are the ones peddling fake news. This is a great example, no one but Slate would print it, but once they did NPR, CNN, MSNBC, Politico and more all ran with it, even though it was complete BS:
slate.com/articles/news_and_politics/cover_story/2016/10/was_a_server_registered_to_the_trump_organization_communicating_with_russia.html

call them out
there's plenty of material
from contradictory fact checks to trump goes to dinner tier news. Use Iraq WMD's fiasco if you want leftists to join the cause too.

Time to get a different job.

>When was the last time that you saw a CNN anchor head over to the NYT for a debate with one of their writers?
Never

When an opportunity presents itself I'll take it, but I can actually make a decent income here and I'm amused by the fact that leftists are unwittingly funding the purchase of a couple thousand rounds of ammo of multiple calibers and two rifles, a shotgun, and a hand gun over just the last year. And there are other covert sensible Americans beside myself. We know who we are and to be honest, it's kind of fun to be in the secret club.

We've been organizing our own poison-the-well operation by masquerading as disgruntled Bernouts and criticizing everything the Dems have been doing as catastrophic fuckups.

How about this:

Only mainstream news sources can be "fake news". Fake news means false or misleading reports from publishers with power.

Don't forget that Trump has been absolutely shitting on mainstream news outlets for a few months now. The "fake news" meme is mostly in reaction to that.

I've been wondering how one would go about setting up a "fake news" website. I would love to spread information drudged up from places like here to lesser informed audiences.

this is really good actually, perhaps we can make memes with the definition and pass them around reddit pretending to be on the side defending the crackdown on fake news.

This isn't going to help normalize the fight against political correctness.

We've elected a president. We're at the stage where we need to openly challenge and push the Marxists out of power.

Marxist thought will never be a friend to freedom, anons. It encourages otherwise sensible people to become indoctrinated and stubbornly defend flawed reasoning against all reason and evidence, and there is nothing that power-hungry sociopaths love more than a tool that lets them tell the public that 2 + 2 = 5.

We need to be destroying Marxism, not utilizing it. Being successful is not evil, and being unsuccessful does not make you a good person or an oppressed party.

What about posting blatantly ridiculous leftist hit pieces to guilt-by-association the leftist MSM.

"Trump and Pence seen doing Nazi salute"
"Trump considers Richard Spencer for SoS"
Etc

THEN GET MSM TO COVER IT (this is the important part). All we need to do is get some zealous intern at CNN to retreat it and their credibility drops through the floor

This would be ancillary to all other methods, of course

*retweet, not retreat. The point is that if we flood the public with obviously fake anti-trump stories, they may begin to associate anti-trump stories from the MSM in the same category

>publishers with powe
THIS
TURN IT INTO A PRIVILEGE ISSUE
"Fake News: Any news propagated by any news organization that is owned or run by white men or any story that is published or written by a white person."
No kike will admit to being non-white, which puts them in the crosshairs as well.

I get what you're saying, but you should understand that a lot of Americans are living and working behind enemy lines with little or no outside support. I can't go to work and build a wall in the break room and hang Trump signs off it; I'd get fired.

What I can do is spread FUD and try to inhibit cohesion. We all have roles to play.

But that didn't work - in Australia, anyway.

hahahaha love this idea

Remidner: "weponized autism" is a Reddit term

Reminder: leafs need to be rangebanned for being incredibly unbearable fucks

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_fake_news_websites

you know what to do lads

That cartoon is really good.

Correct.

Make people question EVERY news source, including their own "news", this will backfire nicely. We need a youtube alternative though eventually, they will come down there.

This is a war. Even if this war isn't being fought with tanks and bombers, you can't win without rushing enemy lines.

Are we going to turn colleges if every student is silenced at the prospect of getting expelled for being a "bigot"? No. Can we turn colleges with a bunch of undercover Trump supporters? No. We need lots of brave "foot soldiers" openly challenging the administration with their reputations on the line. It's the same with workplaces.

Here's an idea: Gather up these sensible friends of yours. Decide on some kind of employer review site. Tell your HR department that if the program isn't pulled, you're going to leave a review stating that people who go to work there can expect to be put through a politically correct Marxist indoctrination program that teaches people that they're bigots if they don't self-censor and give the snowflakes their victim points. If he tries to offer you a deal, such as "you don't have to take it", turn him down. Be prepared to leave. A lot of

Alternatively, perhaps you can establish an "problem employer" watchlist for employers who push Marxist propaganda, like what's happening with colleges. You might also consider contacting Brietbart or Info Wars with this idea, with your employer being first on the list.

This is how we win. We can't just sneak around forever. We need to beat their skulls in.

They use snopes as a (((citation))) against breitbart. Where are the screencaps of
>snopes
We should get snopes put on the list.

* A lot of companies will cower away at the prospect of bad press.

Better dig in a boys its getting serious.
sitsshow.blogspot.com/2016/12/House-Quietly-Passes-Bill-Targeting-Russian-Propaganda-Websites-Alternative-Media-Censorship.html?m=1

>bill that will be thrown in the trash.

Though on the second thought, you should probably begin in a more friendly manner. Just tell them that you don't like it, why you don't like it, and why you think it needs to be pulled. Visit the HR department individually so as not to be too threatening.

Just start making a list of all of things we were told are fake news/conspiracy theory, but which turned out to be true. There are lists of these things all over the Internet. We just need a fact checked short list of the best examples and to start pumping out clear and concise image macros and memes to social meda, find the correct hash tag and make it trend.

would love to have a bunch of memes about snopes. im tired of ppl citing them

Infowars is going to go full retard.

ALEX JONES WAS GOING TO DC TODAY TO CONFRONT COMET PIZZA TOMORROW.

This obviously isn't going to happen now.

This. Point to partisanship and the incorrect predictions in the 2016 election cycle. Point to wikileaks e-mails showing collusion between journalists and candidates. Hell, take it a step further and preempt their efforts to discredit fake news by creating stuff like BEWARE FAKE NEWS that includes stuff like the Madam President magazine, or polls that had Hillary leading by insane margins. Essentially, turn it around on them. No one believes them, and I suspect that this gambit will be their last.

Almost like an... infowar?
We could call these battles the infowars

>perhaps you can establish an "problem employer" watchlist for employers who push Marxist propaganda

We can do this here on Sup Forums though. We have more than enough people to crowd source a comprehensive list of "problem employers" with full descriptors and reviews of their policies and actions.

All that would be needed then would be a catchy title and one guy who can design a spiffy website.

I did that for the lulz, also put Snopes, Meatspin, Lemonparty, Efukt, BBC, Daily Shoah and a bunch of other sites. Maybe we can trick the site's makers into getting onto some watch lists?

Well now they're just going to lock the page unless you post a pic of your nose and call them antisemites for questioning your authority

Ah, I see, use the social justice "logic" against them.

> Racism = Power + Privilege

> Fake News = Money + News Team

I.E., the only way a news organization is news is if it has financial backing of a high order, and thus, smaller sites/independents can't be official news, and thus can't be fake news.

I mean, none of that makes real sense, but neither does SocJus racism rhetoric either. And if they refute your definition of fake news, you now have an in to argue against their definition of racism. Get them to try and justify both positions at once, cause cognitive dissonance moment in their mind and trigger their amygdela, fucking with their emotional center and keeping them unstable.

It's just crazy enough to actually work!

It's funny, they sent me an autistic message but haven't blocked my IP address yet. Really makes you think.

What's their autistic ramblings say?

>wikipedia is on its own list

my sides have split like the grand canyon

CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, The Guardian, CBC and Politifact really need to be added to that list.

>This isn't going to help normalize the fight against political correctness.
>We've elected a president. We're at the stage where we need to openly challenge and push the Marxists out of power.

Yeah, this is important too. Like, two days after Trump won at my school, some small group of people put up a table telling people about the dangers of socialism while I was on the way to class. They had direct messages saying Socialism/Communism was terrible and were engaging people directly on it. Small group and a larger crowd.

I was running late to class so didn't have time to see what they were fully about, but now IS the time to go outside and challenge college students in particular about Marxist BS. Ideally with a small group of people and with visual aids - "Communism Kills" posters, "SJW = Cultural Marxism" et cetera.

A lot more students will have their minds opened if people can be brave enough to directly challenge them. Especially after the big precedent of the news lying to everyone about Hillary's chances.

That's the opening: "remember when you were told Hillary was going to win? Now what else have you been told that's not actually true?"

BBC is still up there, fucking lel

Yes. Use their weapons against them.

The key is to winning is the fed.gov site where you can find the addresses of employees of CTR. Nothing else matters.
