Why not just look it up on the internet?
meme magic
Because he wasn't a politician
Because he didn't play the game of "who is most qualified" he never entered that playing field, rather he went with "energizing people"
Because someone rolled sevens that said he would.
America has lost its way, the regressive, and condescending left has taken control of all things held dear
Rural America/ common America looked for a strong man who promised to fix the broken culture, industry, government, and economy
TLDR; in times of despair, people look for hope and strength.
Examples:
Hitler
Reagan
Nixon
not to say any of those people are bad of course ;)
why is wal-mart better than DMV?
less black people
>appealing to working-class whites who were fed up with globalism and "white privilege" leftists
>actually having a message and a vision for america, while hillary's campaign was based on not being trump and having a vagina
he promised jobs to those disenfranchised by globalism
hes not a typical politican, like those people have come to hate
HRC was overall a failed candidate who lacked the ability to speak to the white working class. Couple that with Trumps overtly strong stance against TPP and other trade deals that forced globalization, it was pretty much an easy pick for the white working class. As a result, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin all (albeit barely) fell to Trump. On top of this, voter turnout for the democrats was horrendously low.
tl;dr Trump won because HRC sucked that bad. This was literally the easiest GOP candidate anyone could have gone up against and the DNC managed to pick somebody worse

okay child, listen
To fully consider why Trump one you need to answer "why didn't Hillary win?" which is a major part of this.
Hillary was one of the least popular democratic candidates ever:
Untrustworthy
Email scandal
Not really a liberal
Represented the establishment - a lot of Bernie supporters then left to Trump or 3rd parties because Bernie was anti-establishment
Bill Clinton
Main stream media were very pro-hillary and became disconnected from society's thinking
Misogyny
Trump won because:
Charismatic
Anti-establishment message (Drain the swamp)
Anti-PC
Better ratings on his stance on the economy/jobs
Stronger persona
More controversial so picked up more online "hits" - was talked about more
Border control/immigration/terrorism
Better campaign strategy - more specific
Kek willed it.
And so kek demolished the blue wall.

Whites are waking up to all the anti white bullshit being perpetuated every day. That and immigration both intertwine with each other well. Also the severe hatred of politicians not serving the people or their needs. People are sick of political dynastys. Lastly and the biggest reason, Sup Forums
He brings up subjects that other conservatives are too afraid to bring up, like enforcing borders, rejecting ''refugees'' and US funding ''rebels'' in Syria.
He brings up things that the people are actually interested in, and he blows everyone else out of the water.
A cuck like Jeb Bush comes to debates wanting to talk about taxes and ''muh constitution'', then gets completely blind-sighted when Trump makes the entire election about actual issues like multiculturalism and a corrupt government.
The expression that Trump is playing 3D chess as everyone else is playing checkers is accurate. He works on a completely different level and forces other politicians to play a game that they were not prepared to play.
Trump has better policies. You can look at his 100 day plan to see a summary for what people were voting for.
Trump is also extremely charismatic. If the corrupt media hadn't called him racist sexist nazi KKK rapist 24/7 he would have the highest approval rating out of any president. His charisma and persuasion techniques are extremely developed.
Just read blog.dilbert.com FFS
He predicted why Trump would win and he did it when everyone else was laughing. It boils down to persuasion and his masterful use of many different skills in the one objective of persuasive speech and writing.
He went to blue-collar working people and lsitened to their problems (or at least acted as if he did). Remember, the thing that the left once used to do? Before they decided that the most important thing in life is what kind of public toilet transsexuals should be allowed to use?
He also appeared to be genuine by openly speaking up. Most people are sick and tired of politcal correctness. Identity politics are driving people apart, but the left is too retarded to notice. But don't tell that your teachers. They will get a heart-attack.
Not gonna bother with those sources, but...
>promised to actually address illegal immigration by building a physical barrier that not only served a purpose but displayed, in a physical form, the implementation of stricter borders
>promised to restrict Muslim immigration, and almost all Americans of any background hate Muslims
>opposed free trade agreements, which are a pipeline of low-skill labor out of the country
>was an aggressive debater that appealed to those seeking a tougher, more masculine political style
>brilliant marketing (MAGA, Drain the Swamp, epithets like Lyin' Ted and Crooked Hillary, hats)
>political outsider, lacked obligations for political favors and could safely criticize the political establishment from a distance
>played the media like a fiddle, took advantage of media sensationalism for free marketing
It helped that the DNC chose an awful candidate that everybody hated, displaying blatant contempt for its voter base in the process.
>Remember, the thing that the left once used to do?
The left never did that. All they did was fear monger and say that only stupid people vote Republican while pushing this scam that higher taxes and welfare helps poor people.
Well once upon a time it was the left that pushed for better working conditions for blue-collar workers. At least in Europe.
In america, they caused a housing crisis and sudden banking deregulation that created a great recession while ruining the medical and education industries with insurance monopolies and charter school frenzy.
Because Hillary didn't address the problems people actually care about.
Just look at the media, they have a million explanations for what happened and in a sense they are all valid, everybody as their problems with the government and Clinton was content to just ignore them.
Trump managed to put his finger on every problems plaguing america and told the american people " I will do something about it", his plan doesn't even need to make sense, hell he often doens't even have a plan, but the simple fact that he acknowledges that there is a problem and that he is willing to do something about it won him the election.
Had to improve working conditions for the shitskins they were preparing to import for cheap labor.
