I haven't been able to find any substance to it I'm afraid. Shame, I like the idea.

((((pagans)))) were a bunch of hipster fags who were praising (((odin))) who was just a replica of Zamolxis.

>Not even ten posts and christcucks are shitting all over the thread

The fuck does that mean, pagan is just an exclusionary word for Christians (like other religions us infidel, goyim, gentile, SP) made up by religious leaders to built group bonds while demonizing everyone else outside of the group.

Wotanism

1. Make a HUGE wooden Benis in ur backyard.
2. Make bloody sacrificies 3 days after each full-moon

4. PROFIT.

They are probably government shill consensus crackers.

If you're going to be a hippy then skip all of the stuff for fat chicks and learn Buddhism.

Start by reading about Yule. Play Witcher, read about everything you see - all monsters are from myths.
Greek, Latin, Celtic, Nordic, Slavic myths are all about the same in many cases - Syncretism.

I think only a minority could be actual shills. Most are probably just retard doos vult larpers.

find a virgin and sacrifice her to odin then drink her blood

You can't be a pagan in 2016. You can be a LARPer if you want, but you'll be laughingstock.

You have 3 realistic options in 2016 that are not totally laughable:

1) be a secularist who relies on science... you don't need to be a disgusting fedora... just avoid religious topics and rely on reason... you can still call yourself Christian culturally

2) look into some religions that have some connection to Indo-European paganism, but are alive today and aren't just LARP revivals... these would be subschools of Buddhism mostly, or even Hinduism, but there's a lot of bullshit in those cricles, you have to be careful not to fall for some new age meme

3) just accept that Christianity won in Europe and embrace it

By repenting, and vowing your eternal life for our Lord Jesus Christ.

'pagan'
kek
It is so much more complex then that.
Also 99.9% of the shit you'd be able to physically study was made up in the past 100 years. Also, it not even close to an accurate representation of the older religions that were actually clumped together in what they call paganism.
Good luck with your studies of religions that were all but erased from history by more popular religions that evolved after them

By sucking cock like your faggot Gods

Its not so much religion as it is culture, especially in Scandinavia

Christianity ruined big parts of our culture and traditions, and there is nothing wrong with wanting to know what your ancestors did, what they believed in and how they lived.

Besides, If your gonna be christian, atleast be orthodox, not fucking catholic or that other "modern" branch of christianity

t.pagan from scandinavia

You're 1000 years to late to swallow pagan pills. If you try living in the woods today, you will be most likely violating some laws and regulations. The world is now divided into plots claimed by someone or some organization. The police will sooner or later come for your ass

>Unironically calling Jesus a kike,

when "The word kike was born on Ellis Island when there were Jewish migrants who were also illiterate (or could not use Latin alphabet letters). When asked to sign the entry-forms with the customary "X", the Jewish immigrants would refuse, because they associated an X with the cross of Christianity. Instead, they drew a circle as the signature on the entry-forms. The Yiddish word for "circle" is kikel (pronounced KY-kul), and for "little circle", kikeleh (pronounced KY-kul-uh). Before long the immigration inspectors were calling anyone who signed with an "O" in place of an "X" a kikel or kikeleh or kikee or, finally and succinctly, kike"

>God Incarnate
>kike

During His lifetime, no persons were described as "Jews" anywhere. That fact is supported by theology, history and science. When Jesus was in Judea, it was not the "homeland" of the ancestors of those who today style themselves "Jews". Their ancestors never set a foot in Judea. They existed at that time in Asia, their "homeland", and were known as Khazars. In none of the manuscripts of the original Old or New Testament was Jesus described or referred to as a "Jew". The term originated in the late eighteenth century as an abbreviation of the term Judean and refers to a resident of Judea without regard to race or religion, just as the term "Texan" signifies a person living in Texas.

In spite of the powerful propaganda effort of the so-called "Jews", they have been unable to prove in recorded history that there is one record, prior to that period, of a race religion or nationality, referred to as "Jew". The religious sect in Judea, in the time of Jesus, to which self-styled "Jews" today refer to as "Jews", were known as "Pharisees". "Judaism" today and "Pharisaism" in the time of Jesus are the same.

Jesus abhorred and denounced "Pharisaism"; hence the words, "Woe unto you Scribes and Pharisees, Hypocrites, Ye Serpents, Ye Generation of Vipers".

t b h, here orthodox Christianity is closely tied to the pagan roots, almost all traditions during religious celebrations can be traced to pre-christianity times

t.norse pagan, also known as "åsatru" or "odinism"

AMA

First he was a satanist.

Then he claimed he was never a satanist, and was really a national socialist. Changed his middle name to Quisling.

Then he claimed he was never a national socialist and is now an Odinist.

Being a modern pagan means you have to be a larping faggot that jerks off to vikings.

He was always a D&D nerd, though (one of his album covers is from a D&D book), so that helps.

...

>accept that Christianity won in Europe
Christianity "won" by rebranding pre-existing traditions like Samhain and Yule and stripping away parts of itself that Europeans didn't like until it bore little resemblance to its original form.

>being a pagan when the only time Germans became relevant in Western Civilization was when they adopted Christianity
Most of the time they were literal snowniggers shitting up the powerful empires they invaded. Paganism before was like being a Muslim today.

tbqh senpai i thought paganism was like some underground thing that if i just asked i'd be pointed in the right direction

it actually does seem like larping although i bet there's more truth to the larping than in modern religions

youtube.com/watch?v=hZopjmstvHU

what are you talking about? Most traditions connected with Christmas, etc arised from the Middle Ages to the 18th Century.

You cant be proper pagan if you are an americuck

have fun larping

Those traditions already existed before west and north Europe was Christianized you dumb indio.

Kashmiri shiavism. Trust me.

Seems absurd to me that an American would start a pagan life. Why not adopt some random sandnigger religion while at it LOL

>Why not adopt some random sandnigger religion
You mean like Christianity?

All paganism is just a rehash of the babylonian fallen angel cult

>åsatru
>odinism

Isn't there some difference in that the former accepts the universalist viewpoint "anyone can be called by the gods" and the latter is ethnocentric, i.e. europeans are the only ones that can be norse pagan?

Sad, isn't it

they didnt, the Christmas tree, for example, arised in Germany around the Late Middle Ages. Most opinions connecting it to an ancient tree ritual are speculation. It's like saying celebrating with a huge feast is pagan because pagans celebrated before with huge feasts.

holy shit i just read a shit ton of these thanks to google

its fucking hilarious

Dude, why were you sucking that guys dick?
>uh-O-Odin u-sed to do it f-for strength so its tottaly not gay

theres another story where loki (yes from the movie Thor, that Loki) gets raped by a horse in a scheme to not have to a pay for construction work

Being a pagan is more a disposition than a religion. I'm a "nature mystic".. have always been entranced by wild places and spend a great deal of "dirt time" living on the forest floor.

The ultimate test, of course, is whether contemplation, meditation and observation of nature leads you to the various mystical states of ego transcendence that accompany real meditation (not that "mindfulness" claptrap).

This guy gets it:

How wonderful is the Sermon of the Inanimate," says Tung Shan
(To-zan). "You cannot hear it through your ears, but you can hear
it through your eyes." You should hear it through your mind's

eyes, through your heart's eyes, through your inmost soul's eyes,
not through your intellect, not through your perception, not
through your knowledge, not through your logic, not through your
metaphysics. To understand it you have to divine, not to define;
you have to observe, not to calculate; you have to sympathize, not
to analyze; you have to see through, not to criticize; you have not to
explain, but to feel; you have not to abstract, but to grasp; you have
to see all in each, but not to know all in all; you have to get directly
at the soul of things, penetrating their hard crust of matter by your
rays of the innermost consciousness. "The falling leaves as well as
the blooming flowers reveal to us the holy law of Buddha," says a
Japanese Zenist.
Ye who seek for purity and peace, go to Nature. She will give you
more than ye ask. Ye who long for strength and perseverance, go
to Nature. She will train and strengthen you. Ye who aspire after
an ideal, go to Nature. She will help you in its realization. Ye who
yearn after Enlightenment, go to Nature. She will never fail to
grant your request.

templeofearth.com/books/religionofthesamurai.pdf

You can't be realistically pagan in modern times.
Modern pagan religion are mostly very ethnic, like Shinto. Of course you have Hinduism, if you're interested in that go talk to Ape of Thoth on /x/, he's usually on occult general

The Khazar origin theory of the Jews has been debunked my modern genetics, the Jews we know today, the Ashkenazim, are a mix of Levantines and Romans mostly, with a little German and Slavic admix thrown in.

It should be emphasized that Religion is about the spirit and not the flesh, the genealogy of the Jews is irrelevant because,

>Romans 9:8 "That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed."

Åsatru and Odinism have the same viewpoints, but different stances "publicly".

Nazis were fond of using Norse Pagan symbols during the occupation, so to not be hated by everyone, we "denounce" Nazi's, neo-nazi's and advocate for peace and equality, publicly.

If you want to join blotslag, you have to be nordic decent. If you are black, you will basically stand in the member register, but no one will inform you when we have blot or perform other traditions.

Odinism and Åsatru is 2 sides of the same coin, only Åsatru cares about public face, and arent as radical as Odinism.

>If you want to join blotslag, you have to be nordic decent. If you are black, you will basically stand in the member register, but no one will inform you when we have blot or perform other traditions.

Nice, that's a really interesting get around. On the issue of nordic decent though, I've seen some people argue for the sake of all of europe and not just scandinavia.

For example, russians and the other slavs cn point to the Rus peoples or iberians to the visigoths and et cetera.

what i find confusing is

i'm half british/french and half swedish/norwegian

i have brown eyes

am i even odins kin wtf

>Swedish/Norwegian
yes

You mind rephrasing your question? English is my 3rd language.

Although i do have some idea on what you are asking, im not sure.

To join a blotslag, you have to have atleast some genetic traits from scandinavia.

Nordic pagans are :
>Swedes
>Norwegians
>Danish
>Icelandic
>Færoyene
>North germany

Sapmi and Finns are not nordic, and have their own pagan culture, which is quite interesting

>i'm half british/french and half swedish/norwegian

Yes, you are of nordic descent

>brown eyes
>odins kin

You should stay catholic anyway.

>using parenthesis for pagans

Not sure if you know what this works.

Seems absurd that kin being highly valued among the old gods would lead to them disowning Americans.

But then again Im not a purebred muslim like you so I guess I can't worship allah like you real swedes

You got my question, thanks for answering.

I'm spanish and back home in Spain there is a long established odinist religous group that does blots, marriages and more. Wanted to know what an actual viking thought of that.

>green eyes
>not odin's kin

If you're white in burger land, you have to pretty much join the odinist groups and larp otherwise you get no support if niggers and hispanics harass you.

Ok, way to go my dear friend!

FORGET ALL POSTS SAYING "ODINISM RAGNARÖK THULE" SHIT! THIS IS ESSENTIAL!

Learn the meaning of love, read finnish folklore, and realize every other nordic paganism is based on that. You can read it from translated eddas for sure.

Norwegian Aasai has it's foundations deeply in Finnish lore. Jotunheim is Finland ("land of giants" northeast - exactly where you can reach Finland from Norway), Odin is Väinämöinen and Ukko greater God.

There is so much to tell, it is very hard to concentrate now with all this misinformation on this thread. Major point is: Paganism is all rooted in Finland and our lore, everything else is rip off or formed off from that (like christianity from egyptian lore, which comes from Sumer, and Sumer comes from FINLAND confirmed: hs.fi/kulttuuri/art-2000002911067.html only finnish source, last summer 2016, Sumeri is basically formed by finnish travellers)

So, let us start. AMA.

>tfw blond blue eyed, norwegian, german, danish, and scottish

Just read this thread through oh my god people are so mislead, but on right track.

Well, they are free to practice our religion, although if they do not have Nordic/Scandinavian descent they will forever be lesser people and "non-trustworthy"

Æsene are our ancestors, thats why we are allowed into Valhalla, to prepare for Ragnarok

What about valhalla being only for warriors that fall in dforeign lands?

While I think middle eastern religions (islam, christianity, judaism) belong in the fucking middle east, there really isn't any point worshiping old european gods other that it sounds cool and allows you to out edge the edgelords who chill for christendom to piss off atheists
I mean, what is it good for?
>you're not even sure your ancestors were worshiping them
>religion brings people together but paganisms attracts very few people (among them many nutcases)
>pagan writings are a hassle to find, pagan theology is underdevelopped
If religion is made for people to gather and respect some principles to live a good life you'd be better off making up your own life principles and create some "sacred" days where you do some kind of activity with friends and family rather than submit to rituals that may have been cool at some point in history but will just look silly nowadays.

As i stated earlier, you have some interesting paganism, but Æsene fought Vanene, and founded Asgard.

Although We stem from the same roots, we are different branches and have eventually become different religions

Yep youre confirmed for LARPING
Valhalla is for warriors. You are not one. You will not fight all day and dine all night in valhalla. You will go to a different hall for you afterlife.

ok what is most important in being a pagan?

for instance in the christian tradition that i grew up in, the emphasis was on behavior, i.e. "acting like christ" by being charitable, kind, patient, etc.

is behavior also the primary calling of the scandinavian pagan? or is it making sacrifices, performing rituals, spending time in nature?

basically i am going to get some amazon books on this subject, but i was hoping you could get me on the fast track to acting/living/being pagan

You can go to valhalla if you have proven yourself to Æsene and Valkyriene, and one can prove oneself trough combat and honourable actions.

You dont have to die on foreign lands to go to Valhalla, but the more glorious death you have the bigger chance that the Valkyrie will bring you to Valhalla

start by educating yourself and not defining yourself with a word used by the oppressor kikes.

That is true in a way that we have same roots, your mythology althought comes from Finland, and as you are well aware like I said, Jotunheim is what we understand to be Lapland/Finland nowadays, and where Odin/Thor et al. originated.

I understand ancient Norwegians were shit scared of Finland, and that is why giants are feared and fought in those lores. After all, we beat viking invasion with 1:20 odds ( blog.kansanperinne.net/2011/11/viikinkien-sotaretki-hameeseen-vuonna.html , basically 50 finns killed and slaughtered approximately 930 vikings from invasion force of 1000. Lead by jarl Freygeir, who also met his end in shores of Finland)

These are things that need even more studying

Nordic paganism belong to scandinavia and not america.

LARPING is for idiots like Varg Vikernes and co.

Maybe i will go to Valhalla, maybe not, its up to Æsene to decide that, not me, not you.

> Worshipping a Jew

Varg's wife Marie has a series on ancient culture you should watch

Thats a better reaction than I expected. I just read you writing about valhalla and in my limited knowledge sperged out. So what if one seeks glory in their life, but dies peacefully?

According to our lore, æsene fought Vanene, and the battle was inconclusive, ending with an exchange of prisoners.

Asgard recieved Njord, Froy and Froya, while you recieved Æsene Mime and Hone.

This is definitly things that need more studying, such a shame that christianity destroyed so much of our culture and traditions

Breaking down some as I have time:
>ok what is most important in being a pagan?

Logic, devotion to ones family, nation and respect towards nature. Unique thing you can not achieve in this life, but your grandchildren might, if you start to found this on your further generations.

Trees are important part of this, as are every living thing that grows.

>the emphasis was on behavior, i.e. "acting like christ" by being charitable, kind, patient, etc.

This is not too far fetched, I appreciate Christ, but do not accept his godhood. You need to have those - towards your own kind. Strength is appreciated with wit and stern spirit. This means intelligent relations towards world, and respect to your surroundings as mentioned earlier.

>is behavior also the primary calling of the scandinavian pagan?

Yes, and even more so, LACK of behavior (or well, actions) - do not always act. Think. Sit down. Breathe in. Do not get hyped and over-emotional so that it shows outside

> or is it making sacrifices, performing rituals, spending time in nature?

Most important part of these is the latter. Spending time in nature, that is ritual in itself. Some people need rituals, some people need sacrifices - I find them to be for those who have not connected and ascended mentally yet.

You learn this mostly by going to nature. Go near trees. Listen. Touch, feel. Use your senses. Day by day, day after day. It might feel dull and laughable at first, but you will get to it. Get in to it before studying further.

>where do i start?

The thing with Pagan faiths and especially groups, they've been bastardized to hell and back. Let's say you were into Norse paganism, and come from that bloodline. I'm sure you'd probably choose that for cultural reasons, but you can't narrow things to just that if you want to open your mind. Look at all of the faiths, but don't worship a single one. Study them instead. Connect the dots with all of them. But remember, don't follow any of the modern takes on it. 90% of it is followed by neckbeards and dorks into Dungeons and Dragons, and borrow a lot of shit from Wicca, and end up being pansexual saying it's okay.

For example, all "magic" is the same, regardless of the faith you choose. Stars, circles, pentagrams, cubes, etc. are all the same.

"God" is the magic, and magic is in everything. Science is the same. Perhaps the word one would look for, is energy. The keyword is "God-consciousness." It's more of a tool. However you use it is your own path, and perhaps a certain faith is just that. You can use it for good, or you can use it for evil. "God" is neither good, nor evil, depending on how you'd like him, or IT to be.

But, since Norse paganism is a favorite for whites and Sup Forums I'd like to point this out. Most of the shit you see today is bullshit. It's been feminized and, like I mentioned before, takes too many things borrowed from Wicca, which is also a modern belief. The traditional sense was more fatherly, and focused on being one in a subliminal sense. To become a man, to listen to the wisdom of your father and grandfather, and much like going on a hunting trip with one and bonding. In a sense, the traditional version was more of an "old man's" kind of thing. It's kind of a feeling you get when some of us had father who took us out on a nature walk when we were children, and how they looked out for us, told us not to be afraid when meeting an animal, and to know you're going to be fine when you scraped your knee. You learn a lot from those experiences.

Its up for Æsene to decide, they jugde your life and your sword hand.

Your chances increases drastically by dying in battle tho, as long as you were honourable.

The reason Vikings went out to battle so much, were to prove themselvs to Æsene and odin, showing that they deserved a spot in Valhalla, and a spot fighting in Ragnarok

youtu.be/owWJ166XdEw

bumping with mutual interest

>Æsene

And that pantheon is what? Väinämöinen&Co.

And what happened to vikings, when they invaded Finland, land of Æsene? Miserable stuff happened, you never proved yourselves. That is why situation is what it is in Sweden for example.

Ymirs are finns, as you might know. Compare to Odin, and his abilities with birds. This character is proven to be a lot older than Odin.

norgebro, where do celtic swiss fit in? i am half swiss half north german. we have many pagans here but most of them are larping hippies smoking dope and eating mushroom. some are pretty serious though.

Switzerland is land of great air, beautiful nature and absolutely gorgeous mountain range. Your nature in itself is honorary to everything.

How do people there fit in? Common connection to nature. Or was. Not after Templars though - you guys.. I do not know. Go outside and breathe.

Small side note, Mannerheim spent rest of his days on this earth in Switzerland.

Vittou, read

>And what happened to vikings, when they invaded Finland, land of Æsene

One documented instance of that happening, bring more please.

Most of the documents been burned down by Swedes. New studies are popping up constantly on finnish ancient history, have patience.

One proof is quite simply lack of viking artefacts on Finnish soil. Few have been found on Åland thought.

I mean read once more:

> lack of viking artefacts on Finnish soil

Land right next to them. Viking artefacts been found throughout world, including USA and Byzantium empire area. But not on Finland. Their closeby neighbour.

Let that sink in for a while

There is the Cultural aspect and the Religious aspect, If you want the Religious aspect, read Finbro's posts in this thread.

If you want the cultural aspects, i wouldnt mind typing it out for you, although i have written some already in this thread

>Its up for Æsene to decide, they jugde your life and your sword hand.
>Your chances increases drastically by dying in battle tho, as long as you were honourable.

This is why many European faiths believed in bettering yourself. Sure, Nordic faiths believed in battle, but pushing for the most just causes for the greater of mandkind is the same idea. Kind of like Hitler. He wanted to go down as a legend and sure did everything his heart and mind could bare for his people, even if it demonized him. It's like those who became a saint.

Like some military personnel say, "I'd rather be judged by 12 (12-man jury) than be carried by six." They'd rather do what is right than fight dishonorably.

These are the whitest things a man can do.
