i love how you can tell that was photoshopped to make it look like it was not spewing smoke

Kek. I see it. Poorly shooped pixels.

Is this it normally running? What the fuck kek.

visible from alaska

lmao

>Germany
Call me when you're allowed to have a navy by your nigger masters.

The Admiral Kuznetsov has a large history of technical problems.

I hope it did somersault and plunged into the ocean with not so much splashing.
Russian olympic committee should be proud

>technology is so embarrassing that they have to photoshop the smoke out
>planes keep falling
>missiles keep exploding

When is WW3? Russkie would lose in a day.

What the fuck, is it burning coal for energy?

we got a navy m8 maybe a smaller one but at least ours doenst use smoke signals to communicate lmao

we got a navy m8 maybe a smaller one but at least ours doesnt use smoke signals to communicate lmao

Still going strong USSR

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whataboutism

ive seen this pic before and i gonna ask

is this actually a pic of the russian carrier or is it just a ship on fire

More like tires

Ramps are for champs, they're just not doing it right

You would see the bloody mushroom cloud this thing puts out before you pick it up on radar, jesus

That feeling when even australia has superior ramps.

>wutautism
go away reddit

False its just a pack of russian ciggarettes

>rt

it looks like the Kuznetsov to me

Shop of a drilling rig on fire.

If it did that it would also fail the drug test, Ivan.

different climate

Should just rebase aircraft to syrian airfield and sink Admiral Koal-Love WWI style

Why cant Ruskies handle the bantz? That ship is beyond meme tier.

Embarassing. Kuznetsov better sail home.

What are you flying of that thing that needs a ramp

The Royal Navy's Ocean-class is a similar size and has no ramp

Made in Spain.

that is just steam from the kitchen

You said nothing about the ship. Maybe your bantz is just rebbit tier

even spics can make better boats than the russians

well done Old Mexico

>What are you flying of that thing that needs a ramp

Refugee boats with rockets crudely strapped to them.

What, do you have a problem with that?

Invincible class is the best medium sized carrier

Someone photoshopped the deepwater horizon spill lmao

>muh ancient photos
youtube.com/watch?v=223h3d_7UsI
youtube.com/watch?v=zQVCyF8P-l4

Yeah, it shoots brooms instead.

Pointing out hypocrisy is not whataboutism you retard. As well as attacking flags which is a standard practice on Sup Forums.

The main question is why mobilize an aircraft carrier when you can use your own air bases in the Caucasus or Syria.

Maybe the base is not suited for that many aircraft.

yes and they shot all that footage while the engines were not running

unless somehow they replaced the engines off the coast of syria because that thing made a hell of a smoke on the way there and seemed to break down as well

holy smokes in the 1st video you can see the fumes coming off the thing about 30 secs in

>tfw too intelligent for ramps

why the fuck does everyone except us and france have FUCKING RAMPS?

Nothing but it works in gently edging politicians towards buying more shit. Tones nearly bought extra F-35Bs because of the ramp and he liked the idea of it, the next lot of subs will be nuclear capable in case we ever get an industry going and can make the switch.

For experience and psychological warfare. Imagine you're a terrorist besieged in East Aleppo without food, water or adequate ammunition and there's ship that leaves a smoke trail that can be seen from space coming to fuck you up.

>the ship is sailing
>engines not running

Sure, but nowhere near as big.

what the hell?! they have nuclear powered ice crushing boats, why can't they do carriers?

it's like that avgn episode where he couldn't land the plane

MUH POWER PROJECTION
Basically, putin is compensating his manletness or something

>A FUCKING RAMP

Well it's not an aircraft carrier. It's a missile cruiser that also carries airplanes. It's not going to be very good at the airplane part.

Catapults break down too much and make you unable to launch aircraft in rough seas. plus they're very expensive

although on the plus size, aircraft launched from them have a better range and weapons load

Nothing yet, just thrown on for some kind of F35 compatibility I think. We've ordered tons but still haven't received one meme plane yet so who knows.

Based Spanish.

>what is being towed by a tugboat or other ship
>what is running the engines on a lower power

also
>oh gee they barely point the camera near the exhaust stack i wonder why

looks like the cast of Barareh are flying them

Russian ancient carriers are diesel. American Nimitz carriers run on nuclear.

>britanon giving an actual insight

I swear I saw your posts in almost every Kuzya related thread

Trigger pic included for testing purposes

because that carrier is an ancient piece of shit that literallyt sat rusting for almost 10 years

they probably threw whatever spare engines they had lying around into it and said good teh go

>tfw NATO won again

good shop, I was fooled.

Not to mention steam catapults freeze, ramps are less prone to freezing.

>Not to mention steam catapults freeze, ramps are less prone to freezing.

Ever try to walk up a wheelchair ramp after an ice storm?

*coal

Lmao, we 1921 now

>a fucking ramp

We build a lot of parts for the F35 especially the Vertical lift B variant, so its in our interest to have carriers designed to use that version of the aircraft.

Muh jerbs

>The main question is why mobilize an aircraft carrier

It's not an aircraft carrier. It's a missile cruiser with a hangar and a ramp.

I believe the Queen Elizabeths will have both catapult and ramp, but they pretty much exclusively use STOL shit like the harriers and soon the f35, so the catapult wont be much use.

Russias planes arent STOL but they just limit operational weight and range to let them take off safely

why cant you just swallow a little pride and admit the thing needs new engines

its excusable i mean the thing was left to rust in the open air because the USSR collapsed and russia was in shit shape. dont you think you could afford to convert it to nuclear and wash it? youd actually have a decent carrier then

the current engines seem dirtier and more unreliable than a trabant

Russia isn't a sea power, never was really.

Well I'm not legally retarded, so no.
You ever try to freeze saltwater there you mongloid mapleback?

Oh shit Russia what are you doing

>what the hell?! they have nuclear powered ice crushing boats, why can't they do carriers?

Their naval doctrine was never based around aircraft carriers. America and other countries have been doing aircraft carriers since the late 1910's.

Putin's getting serious

Look at that lovely layer of polution in the water behind it

Ner originally they were gonna be catapult only, but now they will be exclusively STOL,

god damn what a pretty boat

>You ever try to freeze saltwater there you mongloid mapleback?

Snow, hail and sleet don't have any salt content.

>It's not an interior, its outside with walls and a roof

they can be retro fitted if needs be

So why does every nation have a shit Navy compared to US? Funding?

Don't know you know this leaf, but Jets don't have powered wheels.

The friction during take off isn't useful.

That is a russia sub

This. most of the american navy are simply built as aircraft carrier escorts. russia built their ships to slog it out with other ships.

emissions change depending on the load being put on the engine. In your pic the smoke is so thick there is no photoshopping it out

STORVL.

>Seawater will freeze while sitting on the ramp of an aircraft carrier/missle platform in enough quantities to make take off impossible.
This is how retarded you are Leaf, You dirty snowbacks don't even have a navy, more of a glorified coastguard than anything.

What is their current status btw? I heard that HMS Queen Elizabeth is currently on trials and assembly of HMS Prince of Wales is almost complete.

Kuznetsov experienced so much shit in 90-10 as I remember. 3-5+ fires, storm, flooding, boilers problems etc.

Yes of course

Yea funding. navies are expensive as fuck, it's also due to the fact that america is so far away from the rest of the world so it NEEDS carriers to project power.

because they don't need to waste the money on a massive navy like the US or they don't have any money to waste no matter how much they want to.

tfw you have twice as much superstructure as any other carrier

Sea trials in march 2017 for QE

POW has just had it main tower attached, so far from complete, but ahead of schedule

they easily could and probably could make it better with their bismuth lithium molten metal reactors, however too expensive or not worth the cost, probably because they're focusing on nuclear submarines.

Doing it right
That plane
Hahahaha

Without catapults you can't use E-2 Hawkeye, and Merlin AEW helicopters are less capable than the Hawkeye, they can't do the same work.

of to /k/ to educate yourself please.

The British name for the F35 is the Jiffy Lifter

I always imagined it sounds like this

youtube.com/watch?v=SMCoT5NM3Xw

That's why you have lots of them.

We can always use an Osprey if we really need to.

Plus the Samson Radars of the Type 42, can see 400km away over the horizon anyway

The Osprey is not setup to high altitudes, you are going to have the same problems with them than with Merlin.

They can't see OTH.
