He has to say tha5 otherwise his sunni followers would eat him alive - he's saying it so he can stay prez. And we'll tolerate it because he's better then whatever else (((they)))'ll install next. How can you not understand that?
bosporus is one of the most important strategic points in the world right now.
If turkey becomes another ukraine then russia will have no choice but to retake constantinople. And as fine as that sounds to me - i'm not russian, which means i'm fucked. We'll be on the wrong side of this one if it escalates.

Russia-Syria-Hezbollah is winning Syrian war, the key battle is involving tens of thousands of terrorists is the fight for Aleppo, up to even 40-50k of terrorists.
Recently Syrian army surrounded Aleppo and cutting of the road leading in to the city, meaning no more reinforcements for terrorists.
This is the tipping point. Terrorists can only have so many bullets. Full retreat of terrorists have been discussed in the UN and now USA is screaming "Muh Ceasefire" for 7-10 days, this is basically a desperate plan in order to one last time reinforce terrorists they are supporting. US even said they will airdrop reinforcements to the terrorists even Russia doesnt comply.
Terrorists being cut off, Syrian army surrounding them and Russian airforce waiting around the corner, it is just a matter of time before terrorists are starved to death.
US refused ceasefire before, but now when their terrorists are dying they are suddenly screaming "Muh Ceasefire".
Ian Harris

thanks!

They voted a Syrian ceasefire in UN security council but Russia and China vetoed it. China N-E-V-E-R does this.
Hudson Diaz

Jayden Davis
china votes with Russia like 90% of the time, who cares?
Colton Anderson
>US refused ceasefire before When?
Tyler Rivera
No. China abstains or votes in favor for Russia-proposed resolutions while Russia votes in favor for theirs - as long as their goals align, otherwise nah. China never vetoes on matters that don't directly involve them. They usually pretend they're not even there.
Michael Ortiz
This isn't the general assembly kid.

>walk to Aleppo >through ISIS or Nusra territory >then through government territory - if they haven't been kidnapped of murdered yet >???? Then what? How do they get back home?
Nolan Smith
Why have most Syrian christians become refugees if they like Assad so much?
Jose Jenkins
No, you don't understand. They don't. They never use veto for anyone but themselves. This may not be the first time, I can't be arsed to check, but it's as rare as unicorns. They abstain most of the time while giving empty statements criticising everyone.
Landon Martinez
On Syria-related (on Middle East related, really) matters, China has always abstened. This is probably the first time that China actively vetoes some Mid-East related resolution (maybe not the first time, but it is very unusual, like said)
Sebastian Brooks
Walk.

and... ??? i'm not into drones so if you can give more infos it would be nice.
if this info is true (which would be very surprising) how could they be guided?
aren't them originally guided by satelitte communications? what range could they have (without satelitte comm.) ?

I don't know, under 50km? That's enough for Syria, it's not a big country. It doesn't change much. Makeshift drones aren't all that great. Go buy yourself a shitty 4-prop drone with a cam and try to waterbomb your cat with it. Without proper software and fast comms it's not worth much except for occassional TOW from above.
Joseph Bailey
They are a psy op. They only operate in ISIS/FSA regions, they carry guns, despite calling themselves complitely peaceful, they stage videos, even acknowledge this.
Refusing to obey UNSC resolution essencially means war. This is why vetos exist. This is posturing and propaganda, noone actually expects anything to happen on either side.
Joseph Gomez

>Refusing to obey UNSC resolution essencially means war. Let's see how it goes for Israel and Golan Heights.

I'd expect the SAA to attempt to force a retreat from that sector. Threaten them with an encirclement like they're doing and the beheaders are going to run away at some point.

Wait a second, are we getting into the pre-WW3 world where China and US start pandering to Russia to ensure that we ally with them in the upcoming US-China war/apocalypse? I could get used to this

>Kottel what is this?
Joshua Hughes
Yep. It was going this way for a while, except US tried to make you bend the knee. You didn't, so now they have twice as much work to do.
Because if a direct confrontation between Chyna and US happens, you'll start in one camp and as always finish in the winner's camp, thus securing a spot at the table to slice a nice new piece of the victory pie. That's what Russia is playing for since like, Iraq I think.
