Interesting this is the first type of answer I've had of this nature.
What specifically about advertising is it, that you think would improve life if it were removed from our lives.
The indoctrination of children at a young age for instance on TV? Which may lead to a lust for materialistic goods and thus a decline or abandonment of other, prehaps, more important values?
Drugs, including alcohol and cigarettes. Stuff like coffee and sugar can stay, just make all the heavier ones including alcohol and cigarettes magically vanish.

Is this because you feel these substances bring about a decline in moral values?
Or rather because of how these substances have been capitalised on, how companies and businesses profit from the sales of these harmful products.
Or maybe the fact that these users are in essence 'killing' themselves and thus use uo government time and money when it comes to caring for these people.

The first and third points. They bring moral values down and they are also just a fat waste of time. People will probably seek other hobbies, but all the other hobbies will make them learn something new and good for their life on the long term, drugs will just take away from them. Hobbies are supposed to give you more, not to take from you.

Should have been but not since the mistake of mercy and compassion was made they have become nothing but a burden that is babysat and coddled over. Our race has put itself in a position where it has morally obliged itself to provide welfare for lesser people. Obviously the logical choice is to remove the burden. I don't really care to baby sit them or to murder them.
