If a party made a guarantee of a referendum on whether we should be allowed freedom of speech with no conditions, we can build an incredible country. We are still the majority.
The conditions of the referendum would that the law could only be passed with more than 50% turnout, and repealed by another referendum similarly. A referendum of this magnitude can only be held once every 18 years (one generation).
I think UKIP or any party for that matter (both Labour and the Lib Dems are begging for votes at the moment) could get a shit load of votes if they promised such a referendum

Like a normal website but with a page that acts as a permanent brit/pol/ thread and only that, no multiple threads or boards like Sup Forums but one page that operates in a Sup Forums manner due to it being the greatest format for live anonymous conversation.
The other parts of the site would be normal website pages and their could be a regular forum that required membership.
Brit IP addresses only and mods would be strictly banning and hacking irrelevant shit.
Important topics that arise, like the need for a clear free speech protection, could then sidestep from the chan section into the regular forum and become a theme for everyone to actually work towards and have progress documented.
