Being fit is a byproduct of living a traditionally "masculine" lifestyle. I own a landscaping business and a few multi-family homes as rental properties that require a lot of maintenence.

Maintenence and manual labor are taxing on the body, ergo sturdy/strong bones and muscles naturally develop to compensate for wear/tear.

Burger reporting in here. I am no means super skinny, but I don't think I am " morbidly obese " either. Being in good shape helps your over all mood, it makes your day to day life much easier. I can work a 12 hour day, on my feet, and still find time to work out for an hour or two every day, or at least every other day. I don't have some stupid diet. I do watch a little of what I eat.
