I had a job processing parking tickets in London ( yeah I know, a pleb job). The vast majority of people appealing were Muslims , not just taxi drivers and that sort of thing, there was an Iraqi cardiologist who appealed a ticket and various professionals from top educational backgrounds (I googled the more wacky claims). By and large they lied through their teeth. Am anecdotal story but Muslims of all backgrounds were prepared to tell the most outrageous lies in the hope of a parking ticket getting cancelled.
