>Sweden’s towns and villages have been ordered to make preparations for a possible military attack in the latest sign of the country’s growing anxiety at its newly belligerent Russian neighbour.

The five areas will cover about 60 percent of Poland’s military modernization budget for the years 2017 to 2022.
To arm the territorial defense forces, which are to comprise about 50,000 volunteers, the Defence Ministry plans to spend about 3.2 billion zloty on new weapons and military gear by 2022, Jakubowska said.
