Deep state kills JFK in 1963, LBJ escalates Vietnam War in 1964 after phony Gulf of Tonkin Incident, hippies don't really do shit to stop it until late 1960s, military-industrial complex nearly bankrupts the country, forcing Nixon to take the dollar off the gold standard in 1971, leaving us with a $20 trillion national debt today while the Baby Boomers enjoy their comfy retirements. And the rest of us are fucked, of course.
Does Sup Forums think the Baby Boomers are responsible for stupidly thinking that dropping LSD and Free Love were enough to stop the imperial MIC? Did they drop the ball in the 1960s and 1970s by failing to expose the complicity of the MIC in JFK's death?
How culpable are they for the mess we're in today?
They were handed out everything and they fucked it all up for everyone just to piss off their parents.
Charles Perry
How many of them were redpilled on the MIC in the 1960s? It seems like they really dropped the ball and let the deep state run amok. By the 1970s, they were so hung over and burned out they just said, "Fuck it!" and looked the other way as our manufacturing base was offshored, Wall $treet took over the economy and greed became the new mantra. And today they're still smug as fuck and think they did nothing wrong.
How do they get away with it?
Benjamin Bell
They won't get away with it.
Even the ones who have died will be brought back to suffer justly.
Jonathan Scott
>They won't get away with it.
How? The damage seems irreversible at this point. And so many of them supported $hillary the Warmonger, too, as if they had learned nothing at all from Vietnam.
Matthew Turner
You are aware that everyone who lived during the sixties wasn't a liberal hippy right OP?
Tyler Adams
They were targeted and silenced. Big business, the banks and the politicians realized what they were trying to achieve and were successful as stigmatizing their behavior and shutting what could have been a revolution down.
Nathaniel King
Yes. They completely fucked us. Ran up about 100 trillion in debt for the rest of us to figure out.
Luke Kelly
>You are aware that everyone who lived during the sixties wasn't a liberal hippy right OP?
Yes, but did the conservative Boomers do anything to expose into how the deep state had killed a president ini 1963, and radically expanded the military-industrial complex around the world? The hippies were the ones who were supposed to be more "woke," so that's why I was focusing on them.

OK, but it seems like the crucial years were 1963-1965 or so, well before the Summer of Love, Woodstock and all that. They reelected LBJ even after he had decided to escalate the war in Vietnam in the summer of 1964. Why weren't more of them woke at the time? Couldn't they see that a coup d'etat had happened when JFK was taken out in 1963? Couldn't they see what a corrupt asshole LBJ was?
Adam Cox
LBJ was the death of America. Immigration Act of 1965 was the nail in the coffin, 2016 was when America realized it's inside the coffin.
Two different presidents warned Americans about the threat of the MIC, the writing was clearly on the wall. Why didn't the Boomers glom onto what was happening in time to stop it?
Owen Williams
You mean "Sex addict" Kennedy? Who invented "68 movement" ?
Fucker screw congress , screw army ,screw Minuteman , screw every single white male who hate black vote right
I think this commie fucker same piece of shit like "alcoholic " LBJ

>were successful as stigmatizing their behavior and shutting what could have been a revolution down. How so?
Luis Adams
He wanted to pull out of Vietnam, tame the Fed, unwind the CIA, de-escalate the Cold War with the USSR. Seems like that would have been a far better scenario than what actually took place.
BTW, lots of South Koreans killed babies in Vietnam as well.
John Lewis
>He wanted to pull out of Vietnam
>Actually That's eisenhower >kennedy send more troops
>tame the Fed >2 year of presidency unable to do that >It's not easy to hunt american bureaucracy
>de-escalate the Cold War with the USSR >Brezhnev also want that
> lots of South Koreans killed babies in >Vietnam as well.
gook always soulless and pursuit of profits
Aaron Richardson
You're not making any sense. Are you trying to argue that it was better for the nation that the deep state took out Kennedy and installed that psychopath Johnson?
Adrian Price
>You mean "Sex addict" Kennedy? >Who invented "68 movement" ? You know JFK was killed in 63 right? Seems a little late to "invent" a movement.
I believe you are being, how do they say, "rolled."
Kayden Bell
No, Nixon Must Won this 1960 election Unfortunately stupid people vote "Sex addict" Kennedy

Yes, seems to be a Yank pretending to be a Korean. Maybe it's just a deflecting Boomer with a guilty conscience who's stuck teaching English in South Korea?
Jason Robinson
Yeah, brain fart.

Kenndey support civil right movement and Civil Rights Act
Young hillary and her mother meet martin luther king

so I think civil right movement inspiration to 68 movement
Cameron Allen
No, I think the Jews had a much bigger influence. Hugh Hefner, Lenny Bruce, Betty Friedan, Bob Dylan, the Frankfurt School, all the rock 'n' rollers.
Are you Korean? My friend lives in Seoul and says Sup Forums is blocked there.

Baby boomers are terrible, just really bad, but you have to have humility and understand the millennials will do much much worse
